I found my old records in the attic. I brought them with me from Germany over 40 years ago. Nostalgia kicked in and I bought this record player. The sound and volume settings are good, easy to operate and it came at an excellent price. No complaints.
I wanted something reasonably cheap to play a stack of old (35+ years) records I bought when I was a teenager. This not only looks good, but is easy to use and reasonable in terms of quality. Certainly very good value.
Works straight out of the box and took about 1 minute to set up and play a record. Sound quality is not great (but what do you expect from 2 very small speakers) but it is about as good as I expected. You could easily sit there and listen to just these speakers and as long as you don’t whack up the volume too much. Would be perfect for a single user or some background music in a smallish room
Great sound with head phones and connections on the back for external speakers and a line in aux connection.
Only thing I wish I could have on this- the ability to connect blue tooth head phones. It does not appear to support that function. Bluetooth connection to a phone etc is super simple but I can’t connect blue tooth headphones. Was really hoping that would be supported. Ah well she’ll have to use a cable like the olden days hey!
A good record player to replace broken turntable on HiFi.
When connected to same RCA input on amplifier as old turntable there was a hum (earth loop issue?) but change to one of the other RCA inputs and all was fine.
The sound is quite tinny but you aren’t going to get great sound at this price point. It plays records easily and the kids enjoy using it. We haven’t tried the Bluetooth functionality so not sure how good the speaker is when playing digital audio.
Overall it fits the bill as it is just there for occasional use. If you want a serious record player or are an audiophile then this is not the product for you.
