Good player at an amazing price
I found my old records in the attic. I brought them with me from Germany over 40 years ago. Nostalgia kicked in and I bought this record player. The sound and volume settings are good, easy to operate and it came at an excellent price. No complaints.
Great looking basic record playe
I wanted something reasonably cheap to play a stack of old (35+ years) records I bought when I was a teenager. This not only looks good, but is easy to use and reasonable in terms of quality. Certainly very good value.
Havn t played our records for decades and decided to get a small record player. Wasn t sure what to buy but am thrilled with this player. So easy to use and exactly as described. Good looking. Only had it a few hours but love it. Would most certainly recommend if you want a basic record player. L.Jeffery
For the price this item is superb. It does exactly what it says on the tin. It plays vinyls fine, looks good and can be used as a bluetooth speaker for other devices. Fully recommended.
Bought for my daughter who’s friend is really into vinyl and she has just got into music herself. As this will be her first venture into vinyl I didn’t want to spend out too much and I wanted something simple for her to use. This seems to fit the bill perfectly.
Works straight out of the box and took about 1 minute to set up and play a record. Sound quality is not great (but what do you expect from 2 very small speakers) but it is about as good as I expected. You could easily sit there and listen to just these speakers and as long as you don’t whack up the volume too much. Would be perfect for a single user or some background music in a smallish room
Great sound with head phones and connections on the back for external speakers and a line in aux connection.
Only thing I wish I could have on this- the ability to connect blue tooth head phones. It does not appear to support that function. Bluetooth connection to a phone etc is super simple but I can’t connect blue tooth headphones. Was really hoping that would be supported. Ah well she’ll have to use a cable like the olden days hey!
Absolutely love this, have a whole vinyl collection going back to my Gran, covering 50’s-80’s, gathering dust in the loft, never knowing what to do with them. Started playing some tonight & it’s the best thing I ever bought. Not the best quality but my original record player wasn’t either, just adds to the nostalgia. It’s wonderful!!!!
Good record playe
A good record player to replace broken turntable on HiFi.
When connected to same RCA input on amplifier as old turntable there was a hum (earth loop issue?) but change to one of the other RCA inputs and all was fine.
I got this as a birthday present for my dad who has been telling me he wanted to get back into collecting records, as he wanted a change from his musical streaming routine.
The product was well packaged, with all the needed instructions at hand.
For this price, the sound quality was quite nice so, even though I do not think this item is a collectible, I would definitely advise it for a beginner purchasing their first record player.
Order arrived ahead of time, which was a plus, especially considering that I was having it shipped to France.
However, and this may be my bad, we received the item with a UK plug and therefore had to buy an adapter. But I suppose that ordering from Ireland, it is logical I received that plug-in and not a EU one.
I am always interested in vinyl record and finally decided to get one. As a beginner, I don’t want to go for the expensive ones and this is within my budget so I gave it a try. When it arrived, I was so excited and set up everything even I was exhausted from work. However, the Beatles’ vinyl record that I ordered didn’t arrive in time so I couldn’t try it immediately. Then I decided to test its bluetooth and speaker function. To my surprise, the quality is really good, especially testing with songs by Elvis Presley. I also tried classical music but it is not as good as songs with lyrics.
Today I finally played it with a vinyl record and it was fascinating listening and also looking at it while it played. Set up is easy with instructions on the manual. A point to note is that you have to move the lever above the speed control in order for the tone arm to drop gently. Otherwise, it will scratch your record. Overall, its quality is decent enough for beginners when you just want to test the water. Wonderful product with affordable price.
My wife wanted a record player for her birthday and you can go really crazy on HiFi equipment so went with this as it didn’t cost the earth and wasn’t going to get used that much.
The sound is quite tinny but you aren’t going to get great sound at this price point. It plays records easily and the kids enjoy using it. We haven’t tried the Bluetooth functionality so not sure how good the speaker is when playing digital audio.
Overall it fits the bill as it is just there for occasional use. If you want a serious record player or are an audiophile then this is not the product for you.
