Some of the best wet lube around
I’ve tried quite a few different wet lines over the years for bike chain and lock barrel maintenance. This stuff last well and performs better than pretty much anything on the market. My go to product for so many different uses including keeping lock barrels well maintained and even the plunger mechanism on the toilet!! Great product.
It's ok
It is a good value for money chain lube. And it does what any other, chain lube will do.
I believe “muc off” term is misused by many manufacturers nowadays and it is a very easy misleading.
Small bottle for the price but easy to use and provides good lube
Used for the bike chain. The bottle was pretty small but this should be good for a number of applications.
The application was easy due to the spout. The smell is nice!
I chose this for its biodegradable solution.
Gears were certainly much easier and quieter when changing after application.
Muc-Off is a brand I’ve used before so had no hesitation on purchasing this product.

Great dispense
Oil gets everywhere when you do not want it too. So a good cap system is a pleasant surprise. Easy and practical to use. Quite thick as chain oil goes but it is designed for wet conditions. Not the cheapest product but other cheaper products which work well have inferior packaging and oil security. ( they leak etc). A well thought out ergonomic & practical product.
I have tried so many chain lubes over the years and never really found one that I really like, so though I would give this one a go, I always clean my chain well after any dirty or wet rides so I applied this to a very clean chain, first thing I noticed was that this lube is quite runny, unlike my previous wax based lube which ended up getting gloopier, so applying this I need to be careful not to over do it as it would just drip on the floor, I generally take my time and just drip lube on each roller, being thin it does mean that it gets into the places it needs to get into, give it a wipe and ready for a ride.
So comparing this to my old lube, old lube would make the chain very black and greasy after a ride, this was not as bad, the links still looked silver and only small traces of blackness mainly around the rollers, the chain still runs smooth after a dirty dusty 40mile ride, I could not feel any stickiness which seems to be a complaint of this product but then I don’t load the chain and just put the lube where its needed, I also clean my chain regular to remove any contamination that might have started to build up, I will just have to see how long it is before I need to replace my chain which is the real test of any chain lube if it does it job as it should.
