Gorgeous, sturdy and work well
This bird feeder house is well-packaged, has a beautiful design and looks better than expected. The size is great and has no problem hanging on my small apple tree. The solar light works well in my south-facing garden, making the feeder look gorgeous in daytime and nighttime. It is priced at 23.97 at the time of review which I think is reasonable considering the unique design and overall build quality. I would highly recommend this if you’re looking for a special gift for any bird lovers.
This is genuinely a very pretty bird feeder. I have posted a picture so people can see the solar panel. Nothing wrong with how it’s fitted or mounted. You will need a small plastic jug to pour the bird feed in. You won’t be able to do it from the bag. It does remind me of a fairy house and I’ve hung it from a hook on the pergola. I love it and hopefully when the birds realise there is seed in it they will use it. I bought this because the pigeons kept knocking the other bird feeder down. It’s also well built and no complaints from me.
Unique and excellent quality
This is so beautiful and unique bird feeder. In first appearance it looks like a very cute fairy house. Made of metallic material and well designed. At night time solar light got on and it appears like fairy tale house in the dark. This is a second garden item I bought from this seller and I am Impressed honestly with the quality and uniqueness of the products. Secondly packaging is always very safe and presentable. Would highly recommend.
Great in size and looks good
This is a great bird feeder and pretty big in size.
I like that it is solar powered and looks so good at night.
The bird feeder is well made and easy to attach on a tree.
It is very easy to put bird food inside as the round part is big in size.
Hopefully my review was Helpful for you.
Nice feede
I got this feeder to replace one I had that was getting a little tatty, This is rather nice and a decent size so it does hold a bit of bird food, So far the birds like it and it looks nice on a evening when it is lit up, It isn’t very heavy and the overall paint finish is good.
Bigger than I though
Bigger than I thought, this is just beautiful the design is to cute. Comes with a chain so can be hung straight away, this really is a great addition to my garden and iv already seen birds feeding from it.
Very cute
A very cute solar light bird feeder. We love the whimsical look of it, comes with a hanger and lights up lovely at night, a great addition to our garden.
Lovely bird feede
I was very happy when this arrived. It is a beautiful birdfeeder.
It is made out of great quality materials and the paintwork is detailed and to a high standard.
It looks too good to let any birds near it!.
The main issue I have with it is the position of the solar panel which is on the rear. When it is hanging in a tree it wont be getting much sunlight, but I cant see any other place for it to be located without spoiling the look. The chain is not particularly secure so have added some picture wire just to make sure it stays up.
Happy with this and it looks grea
The bird feeder house is made from a thick material and a lot better made than I was anticipating.
It is very pretty to look at, finished well and makes a nice feature.
The hanging loop is fully enclosed and fixed well so should survive the British climate for some time.
The opening for the feed is quite large and relatively deep so the contents should stay put without too much spillage assuming we don’t get any more gales for a while.
Orientating for best light capture was not easy.
The ‘Muldale Solar Bird Feeder House – Copper Fairy House’ arrived in a printed box.
I normally use simple feeders in the garden for the birds rather than something fancy, so it is going to be interesting to see how long it takes them to get used to this feeder house.
The feeder is of a solid construction and colourful design, so the birds should easily see it.
The solar panel to power the internal lights is where I had issues, I found the on off switch is not easy to press for someone with large fingers, where I would normally use my index finger, I had to use my small finger to press the button.
I also found the positioning of the solar panel gave issues due to it being fixed to the feeder which in turn is suspended by chain that can twist, it was hard to position it in the rough direction of the sun, and when it was, it limited the viewing angle of the feeder’s entrance. A remote solar panel that could be attached to the ring at the end of the chain might prove more effective.
At night the feeder has a nice glow from the LED’s making it look like someone is at home.
Solar bird feede
I think this bird feeder is really pretty. It’s larger than I expected it to be, so it’s a good size for several birds to use at once, but that does mean also that the aperture is big enough for pigeons to fit into as well, and they tend to be quite messy eaters so I think I will have to find a spot for it that restricts their access. At night the little light inside comes on and it looks cute and adds an attractive feature to my garden.
Lovely day and nigh
This bird feeder is lovely day and night, it’s solar powered so once its switched on at the panel will light up at nighttime
It’s in the shape of a fairy house with wee windows, where the lights shine out at night, plus there’s space to put bird seeds inside it, not being huge, it means only the smaller garden birds will be able to get food from it, but it’s sure to attract plenty of birds
I really like this bird feeder, it’s practical but also really pretty, happy to recommend
If like me you enjoy putting out food for the birds in your garden, then having feeder that the birds can use is a much better alternative to putting seed on the floor. Hence when I saw this feeder I was keen to try
First impressions are pretty good, the feeder is made of aluminium I think, so it is very lightweight, and it has a hanging loop to attach onto a branch or hanger stand. There is no container or anything inside to hold the seed, just the sloped bottom of the container. This isn’t particularly deep, so you can only get a couple of handfuls into it.
Getting the seed into the feeder is also quite tricky, unless you have very small hands, or someone else to hold it whilst you tip a bag, so this isn’t a great design choice, simply having a flap or some such would have been much better.
This also has a solar powered lamp inside, this isn’t terribly bright, and the solar panel has just kind of been glued onto the rear of the unit, which looks quite unsightly, although you can hang it with that facing away from you, but obviously it does need to get the sun to charge.
Overall for 20 this is pretty basic, a bit fiddly to load seed into and the solar panel isn’t very pretty mounted on the side, but it does it’s job and seems to survive the windy gusts
Charming copper fairy house bird feeder.
What a sweet little copper bird feeder this is, i love it and so do the tits! It is designed to look like a fairy house and is colourfully decorated with windows and flowers and has a cute flower roof.
It is lightweight, easy to hang and fill and is solar powered and lights up the whole house for 6-8 hours, it looks stunning at night-time. It comes gift boxed and would make a charming addition to any fairy garden and would also make a lovely gift for any bird lovers.
Stunning Bird Feeder!
I ordered this as we have a lot of birds in our garden and our old feeder was looking a bit tatty. As soon as I filled this up the birds came to feed. The feeder is well made and the paintwork is stunning. It holds a nice amount of seed and looks beautiful in the tree. Very impressed!
