Great learning game for toddler grandson although at 18 months he is probably a bit young to ‘play’ by the rules. However, as he is half Spanish his teacher mum enjoyed the fact she could say the word in Spanish and he could find the match even without knowing the words. Sturdy cardboard so durable and long lasting. Can see hours of fun resulting from this game. Recommended.
Simple & colourful game for young kids.
Simple and good game for young kids. My elder one enjoyed it when she was 3. I bought another set for my 2nd baby now. Although I think it is a bit expensive for some nice cardboard card
Fun family game for small childre
I play this regularly with my 3 year old and we both thoroughly enjoy it. It’s a fun memory board game that can be played with up to 4 people, perfect for little families.
Great game for small childre
I bought this for my twin boys who have just turned 2. They enjoy playing with this, matching the cards to the corresponding pictures on the boards, so it is a good tool for helping them to learn their colours and develop their language. As they get older and their understanding grows I’m sure they will enjoy playing the lotto game. A good value, versatile learning toy.
This is currently our 2-year olds favourite game. Good for starting to develop memory of where he has seen the cards that he needs. Orchard toys also replace (a max of 3) cards if they go missing to stop games with missing pieces going to landfill which is fantastic for durability and value for money. So far we haven’t lost any and the game is still intact as the cards themselves are made of thick card. Highly recommend!
Excellent...buy this
This is an excellent game. Our 2 year old grandson loves it and already knows the cards and animals. Definitely worth buying and playing . A great learning game for young toddlers. It’s easy to change and use cards for different learning skills.

I bought this for my daughter before she turned 2, and we both love this game.
It is sturdy and durable, the pieces aren’t too small, so its a great introduction to games for toddlers.
The game itself is simple and easy to understand and play! I think it is also helpful at teaching colours, and hopefully teaching patience at taking turns.

I love the orchard board games we have several of them, I purchased red dog blue dog for my grandaughter when she was under 2 yrs old she is almost 5 and she goes back to this game time and time again, this is one of the first games we got her we also have the shopping list one, dotty dinosaurs, snakes & ladders, pigs in pants, old mcdonald & a few more, I would highly recommend the orchard games as they are not only good value for money, they are made from a good quality board with bright colours & are easily wiped, they help the little ones with their colours, matching up pairs, counting etc & also to have patience whilst waiting for their turn.
Toddler loves this
My two and a half year old absolutely loves this. It’s good for learning about colours and things that are the same or similar. It’s open ended enough to create lots of simple games, not just the ones the instructions say. Excellent value for money. Sturdy enough for my toddler, but no good for my ten month old baby who chews everything! So good I buy this as presents for friends toddlers.
Great first board game for young children. My 2 year old loves playing it with us, even if we have to let her win sometimes! She already knew her colours before we got this game but I think it would be great for helping toddlers learn about colours. It’s fun for everyone to spend time together, and i’m sure we’ll continue to use it for a few years. It’s easy for little kids to learn the rules too, my daughter picked it up fine the first time we played. I love the Orchard Toys range, everything is such good quality. We have a few of the puzzles and they’re great too.

Bought as a present and both parents and toddler loved it!
It’s sturdy enough so that it doesn’t bend easily and is absolutely fine when dropped and repeatedly stepped on.
It’s the kind of game that is good for a couple of years. The two year old we bought it for is currently learning to say the colours on the cards and the names of the shapes, but it will also be useful for when he learns to read as well. Later, we can use it for its intended purpose – the lotto game.
Great for 2 year old
My daughter (2) already knew her colours and could name all of the items on the cards but Red Dog, Blue Dog has been brilliant for teaching her the idea that games have rules and we take turns in a circle. Additionally it has helped her focus on the game and it has improved her memory – can you remember where the card was that you needed that someone picked up 3 turns before you!
Top marks Orchard, I will be looking out for other games now.
I bought this for my two year old and we have so much fun playing it with her. Educationally this helps them to learn how to take turns, practice saying colours and objects and most of all memorise a card placement until it is their turn again. I would definitely recommend this product.
