Have waited a while to review this. Bought as I take my dog everywhere with me but as temperature gets warmer I’m never convinced he’s getting cool air in the boot area.
He loves it. Very sturdy for 35kg Labrador. Really easy to put in, only takes moments to get him in and out.

I have had a hammock before which although perfect lengthways wasn’t really big enough widthways for my SUV. I saw this and thought it sounded great as it has a sturdy overlap which meets the back of the front seats going over the rear footwells. This is indeed solid and has better quality ‘ends’ which are solid and hold in place by strong Velcro. The overlap reaches and sits neatly behind the front seats and is much larger in width so the dogs have a lot more room. The only negative is that the base which they lay on is rock hard like an entire solid board, there’s no way a blanket could go over it and they’d be comfortable, you do need some serious padding, I have put in an xl dog mattress which I had spare but it’s too wide, I suggest you get a made to measure mattress/ortho foam to put over the base, other than that it’s incredibly well made.
Must admit I wasn’t expecting them to look or work like the pictures but very please to say it fits well. We have to German Shepherds and the base is very sturdy. Give them extra room when they have to do on the back seat . Woukd recommend
I raise puppies for Guide Dogs. Presently I have a German Shepherd pup of 33.2kgs & the latest Tesla Model 3 Higland.
The hammock fits really well & side covers seat & car sill to give excellent protection. I strongly recommend.
Works exactly as described. Very durable. Easy to install and remove. Nice options to have a hammock style or more like a std car seat. Our border terrier loves it. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is because the seatbelt clip/lead is a little too short.
My dog is a liability to herself and likes to jump in/off back seat into the foot well when we’re travelling. As she’s now an old girl with 2 repaired cruciates and arthritic hips we wanted to contain her. This is a great cover but could benefit from 2 improvements – side zips opens quite easily when dog rests head on it and when someone is sitting alongside the dog it would be great to have a way of attaching the Centre mesh panel to the headrest. All things considered though it’s a good purchase and glad we got i
