Good value and nice quality grass
This is very good value for money, I had some holes in my lawn that needed filling in. Bit of compost and this seed worked wonders and in only a few weeks. Good size box too!
Grows so fas
This grass is like magic it grows so fast! We had a big empty patch that needed filling in after using a hot tub on the grass. We put the seeds down 6 days ago and the grass is already shooting up. Brilliant product and I would completely recommend it.
Speedy seed
Speedy seed grass seed germinated for me in 7 days tiny shoots appeared in one week & continuously grew there after, conditions were obviously right spread on soil covered in top soil rolled in & and kept damp, did not let the area dry out, hey presto. Magic

I wasn’t sure about this seed , but I couldn’t believe my eyes when I first used it . I prepared the ground then i spread the seed and in 7 days the grass came through. Then after 3 weeks I’m now having to cut it twice a week . I’m amazed at the results and I would recommend this product.
The absolute best!
I put this down on my soil for germination and within two days they started sprouting. The difference in my garden within a matter of days is amazing. The grass looks lovely and new. I did quite a big area with the 1 box that I got, I’ll need another one but I’m happy to pay again to cover the patches that I missed. Great value for the amount you get and at the speed they grow.

6 Days to grow!!!
This is an absolutely exceptional product. I sprinkled the seed on my lawn where I had killed and cleared some weeds and then covered the seed with some multipurpose compost and watered every day. I am honestly not exaggerating when I tell you the grass is already four centimetres, in six day!!!. That is unbelievable. They market the product as being rapid I think it’s great. It’s a nice thick lush green grass. I cannot recommend this enough and will be buying another box to see me through the year.
Fast germinato
Used twice over period of several weeks to repair bare patches in lawn on poor soil and both areas germinated successfully as advertised. Thinned out weeds, spread bed of compost mix as base then covered with soil and watered at dusk during dry spell until shoots appeared and showers completed job. Anticipate will thicken up and fill in over time.
Fabulous
Had a shady mossy grassy lawn area under trees, planning for years to remove it all and start it again. So I did, using this. Going by the old adage of ‘1 handful for the wind, 1 for the birds and 1 for you,’ the seed was sown. In a week I could see shoots, within 2 weeks there is long grass! I’m chuffed to bits with it and am buying more for other areas in the garden.
Shower me in your seeds
Seeds. A temperamental bunch. Germination will depend on your soil type and weather. However, these beauties can’t help but show themselves in an average of 8-10 days, given the chance. Super reliable – and I’ve used all different brands but these are my go-to for reliability and presentation. I read someone say these are based on annual growth before dying off, but not in my experience. Still here year after year and perfect for an overseed too.

Lush lush grass
Had to fill in some bald spots on the lawn and some were pretty big. This did such a good job of growing quickly and looking amazing that the rest of my grass now doesn’t look as nice…! The new grass is super thick. Before I tried this I bought a box of miracle grow but I’ve only had success with this one. Top tip would be to put down some compost on top to stop the birds eating the seeds. Water it well every day for a couple of weeks and hey presto.
Fairly Fast Growing Grass Seed
I bought this to reseed my lawn. I’ve bought other products in the past but wanted something fast growing. It didn’t exactly produce grass in one week as stated but was showing after two weeks so I was pleased with the product.
Simple to sow and quick to grow.
I used this to regrow grass on bare patches on my fairly new lawn. I just scored the surface, sowed some seeds, covered with compost and watered a couple of times in the week. Within that week it was sprouting new grass. Where I laid it fairly finely (but not sparsely) it’s not as good, but where I threw the seed in a bit thicker, it’s already pretty good. Top tip, for best results, don’t be shy with the seeds.
With my lawn full of moss from the wet winter I decided to overseed my lawn
I cut it first then scarified & aeriated it.
I put plenty of seed all over it as a retired friend of mine who was a groundskeeper at the local cricket club told me every 5 seeds sewn only 1 will grow
3 for birds 1 will do nothing & 1 will grow
I then covered with compost & watered it
Luckily it rained for a few days after
The seed started growing after 11 days

Ok what is in this grass seed, some steroids???
I have a small back garden that has this HUGE acorn tree, every year the bloody leaves fall in my garden and kill the lawn. Last year I put turf down and again come spring there’s no grass because of those leaves!! Also the lawn is shaded from mid March onwards. This year I was thinking sod it I’m not going to make any effort. All of you who you have the patience to properly prepare the soil etc, I commend you. I was NOT bothered. Popped off to Lidl, bought some compost soil bags. Wet the already bare soil. Chucked over the seeds onto the wet soil and chucked over some soil on the seed. I guess it was a layer of 3 inches. Stomped all over it to make sure it was packed in. I wasn’t expecting much. Watered it daily, for 4 days (when we had the recent hot weather a few weeks ago). Randomly went into the back garden to make sure no cat had pooped on the soil and dug up the grass seed and I nearly collapsed from shock, screamed to hubby to come quickly, he came running thinking I had yet again broken something. And lo and behold GREEN grass greeted us!!! How did that happen over night, how was it two inches tall (yes I measured), how was it alive?? I DONT KNOW! I made the least amount of effort, didn’t prep properly, watered the soil by hand as couldn’t be bothered to stick the sprinkler thing on but yet I have grass!
So this stuff is steroid grass seed, otherwise some fairies came and sprinkled some fairy dust on it, or maybe it’s cat pee. Defo get this stuff, it will grow, if it can grow for me it defo will for you! Oh and the grass seed box was more than enough. Might go chuck some in the front garden too.
Wait for ten days.....
and then all hell breaks loose. I didn’t think they were going to grow. I scattered them in May and raked a bit of top soil over them (I had put down two inches of top soil for them to go on), watered them once a day and for over a week, nothing. Then I think it was the 8th day I started to see little green blades of grass and the following three days all hell broke loose and I had patchy grass an inch long. I have read in the reviews that when they die they don’t grow back but I don’t know how true that is. I shall be coming back and knocking three stars off though if this is true as that isn’t advertised on the advert/packaging I don’t think. I will return.
These seeds grow quickly
Now on day 5 and grass is already showing signs of life, we have multiple healthy looking shoots all over the lawn, despite constant raids by local birds.
These are good seeds, but they aren’t magic seeds…you still need to put the work in!
Remember to follow the instructions and do LOADS of watering.

Every year I have to over-seed our lawns and I look at 3 or 4 suppliers of grass seed. This is this year’s winner! It germinates quickly and it establishes quickly producing a good-looking grass. Germination occurs in 10 to 14 days and after that it grows quickly. This test was done for 3 batches between April 7th and April 28th (and 2024 was cold and west in our area). I strongly recommend this seed (pity they don’t supply it in larger amounts than the 1.4 kg box – but it’s worth it!).
