Decent build quality
Product for the price is built really well, produces enough foam with the right liquid with it and makes cleaning 10 times easier. Had a small leak with it but managed to sort it after a little playing about.
Snow foam
Used it for 1st time wasn’t sure if was ment to have the water flowing through the karsher when using the foam dispenser tried it but it seemed to runny will try with out the hose on next time. All in all pleased with the produc
Brillia
Purchased for cleaning my bike with other Muc off products. Does a good job with pressure washer and offers the ability to control the foam intensity on bike/car. Leave to soak and them either agitate the foam with brush/sponge or just rinse depending on product used.
Does what it says
If you want to use magic foam and get a good Sudding, look no further then this. Fitted on the Karcher K2 with no problems, foams up nicely leaving the car thoroughly covered in Magic foam! Perfec
Ready for spring or summe
Just got some snow foam for my pressure washer for when the weather improves, and needed a foaming gun, and these have got good reviews so i am building my kit easy for later. I now have 3 different cannons, for the 3 applications allowing me to set up each one instead of cleaning out the bottles after each application. Should make lie a little easier.
Great value produc
The gun does exactly what it needs to. Fittings are robust and I can’t imagine there will be any issues with repeated use.
Was considering spending more on and auto glym bottle and cannon but decided both would lead to the same resulta clean car.
The first unit I received was faulty as per the pictures. I contacted customer services who, after a few questions, arranged for a replacement to be sent. The replacement arrived pretty quickly and my initial impressions were that it was fairly well made and the plastic bottle seems sturdy enough. On first use with the replacement I was a bit disappointed with the amount of foam being produced, it was only when fiddling around with it I discovered that the + was actually a – and visa-verser, my fault for not reading the instructions. Turning the top all the way to the minus produced an enormous amount of thick foam which was impressive. Over all, once you get past the quirks, it’s pretty good for the price and has proved to be reliable 3 months on.
Bought this a few weeks ago as an additional snow foam applicator, rather than use the same one for both snow foam pre-wash and shampoo foam. Used for the first time today to apply foam shampoo after using my original for the snow foam. I got absolutely zero foam from this applicator, regardless of adjustment, just sprayed out water (and yes, the inner tube was in place correctly and submerged in the shampoo/water mix). The adjustment knob only turned one full turn from min to max, compared to my perfectly working original which turns about 3 times between the extremes. To confirm that it wasn’t working correctly, I tried the new spray head with my original applicator & foam mix and still no foam at all. Conversely, the older head on the new bottle with the shampoo mix worked perfectly, so definitely nothing to do with my mix ratio. It may be that I’ve just been unlucky & got a dodgy item, but have requested a refund. I’ll probably go & spend more and get another Autobrite one as per my original.
**UPDATE**
After having had a refund for this item, the seller contacted me to offer, firstly, their apologies, and secondly to offer me a replacement free of charge, they were sure I’d been unfortunate & received a faulty item. I’m prepared to give anyone a second chance, so I accepted, on the understanding that, if it failed again, then my review would be updated accordingly. Likewise, the same would happen if the replacement item was OK.
Anyway, having finally tried the new one, I can report that it works fine, but isn’t perfect. I get e decent level of foam, but not as thick or “sticky” as I get with my current foam cannon. However, it’s suitable for the initial pre-wash, maybe this one, compared to my old one, requires a different ratio of product-to-water, experimentation will make that clearer, but, as i said, it’ll do what it needs to.
I’m amending my initial rating from 1-star to four, not specifically for the operation of the cannon, but more for the Customer service from the supplier, despite the repeated e-mails asking if I’d tried the new item yet!
