Works as intended
Whilst this item works as intended I feel really, it’s a bit overkill and I don’t really need it. And where am I meant to store it? For the amount of times I’m actually going to use this it takes up too much space and isn’t really needed. Would be good to have this built in to the steering wheel rather than needing to attach it every timer. For someone that eats a lot of take away in their vehicle I’m sure it’s a great item but for me it’s just not needed.

A good car accessory
This fits fine on my steering wheel, it’s nice and sturdy and feels good quality. It’s a great idea it makes eating in the car a much easier experience! It slots nicely behind the seat, also great if waiting in the car and need a small desk for tablets or laptops.
Car Table
This should be universal to fit on most if not all car wheels. It fits well and is a practical thing to have for long journeys and for those who are constantly travelling on the road for work, like delivery and tradesmen. Once placed around the wheel, it stays in place. It can also fit onto the side of some garden sun lounging chairs, too. I recommend it. Although for 14.99, it’s a bit pricey.
Fantastic but does it fi
Well what a fantastic little idea , it most definitely works and works well . As a product for if you’ve got a long road trip , or waiting for someone in a car park and want to be productive or eat something and not feel like you need to be careful and or balance things on your dashboard this is a great idea and it works I love the idea that one side is for food and drink the other for work ie with the pen holder and you could use it for a laptop too albeit I’d recommend if you did its a smaller one maybe a 13 inch and not too heavy . I’m not sure I’d use your gaming monster on it . Reason being is the pressure it would put on the steering wheel . Now onto the fit onto the steering wheel , be mindful that I have to turn my wheel upside down . Its a sporty wheel with a flat bottom (stop laughing at flat bottom) but as its not circular it doesn’t fit on that side something to be aware of …….so if you bought a tesla with a yolke instead of a wheel you better hope that Mr Musk considered this and provides a built in one . But honestly if it fits your car it’s great definitely recommend.
Practical steering wheel tray.
I ordered this plastic steering wheel tray. The design is functional and it is easy to attach to the steering wheel. The fit is ok, and it seems to do the job well.
I like the double-sided feature, which includes a ‘dining mode’ on one side and an ‘office mode’ on the other! The ‘dining’ side is thoughtfully designed with more indentation to securely hold plates etc; it also has a small holder for a cup or can. On the flip side, the ‘office’ mode offers a flatter surface with a pen/pencil holder, which is ideal for supporting a laptop, writing, or holding documents when I need to work from my car.
While the tray is a good idea, I think it does limit space a bit. I found moving my seat back provides enough room to use the tray comfortably. It goes without saying that it should not be used whilst driving!
Overall, this steering wheel tray is nice solution for anyone who spends a lot of time in their car for work. It would make a great gift for busy professionals or road trippers!
Very sturdy if it fits. - Make sure you measure
This is a good sturdy table for your car. It is well thought out with one side having a drinks holder and the other side being flat with a pen holder, although unfortunately it does not fit my steering wheel. : ( Maybe the manufacturer could make an adjustable one in the future.
It is light weight and would fit under the seat when not in use but because it does not fit I can’t use it which is a shame.
Great for day trips
This fits most cars on the steering wheel. I found it easy to fit and took about 5 mins to do so. Once on there was enough space for food and a drink. Easy to clean and take off the wheel again.

For a penny less than a tenner at the time of review, this ROADMUNCH car table is a plastic tray with cutouts or hooks, depending on which way you want to look at it.
This allows the tray to sit on the steering wheel and then lever against it to create a stable platform which can then be used for something like a laptop or indeed to balance a cup upon there a cup holder impression and indeed eat some food, write a note or missive as the spirit leads.
The plastic tree is actually double-sided, with slightly different impressions on one side. It is distinguished by what appears to be a penal pencil holder rather than the cupholder.
The one downside is probably the size; it’s not something that’s going to slip quite easily into most car door pockets, so it’s going to be living under the seat, if possible, or the back seat or the boot, and further away, it is then slightly more inconvenient to use. On the plus side, it is lightweight.
Of course, it is very kind of the manufacturer retailer to note that the product should not be used while driving.

I tested this on both my 2017 Vauxhall Astra and also a 2023 Ford Focus I had as a loan car. It fit both vehicles without any issues providing the wheels were rotated upside down, other vehicles may get away without the need to do that however.
Whilst it didn’t feel like it was about to fall off at any point, it didn’t feel completely stable either (especially on my Astra were the steering wheel was thinner). For the odd spot of lunch on the the go or responding to a few emails on the laptop it is fine but might get a little annoying for long sessions. Obviously it needs to be able to fit a vast range of different car models so it can’t be tailored to individual models, some models may have less movement than others.
So practical
Extremely practical and great value for money! The product is firm and holds on the steering wheel well. Also, the pictures and video were really helpful to figure out if it would fit my steering wheel. Overall very happy with this purchase and definitely recommend.
Handy little tray
Great chunky plastic tray for lunch on the go. Double sided, one has a slightly larger cup holder (still not really big enough) which just about holds a can. The other side has a pen/pencil holder, probably for filling in paperwork.
Only holds on by gravity, not suitable for all steering wheels. Fits great on my Passat if I push the seat back a bit I can pretend I’m on an aeroplane.
The reason I haven’t given this 5 stars is it’s too big and bulky to store anywhere but the boot.

A simple idea done well and very effective.
This is one of those very simple ideas that works so well. For me at least. I often need to take lunch in the car and the end result is inevitably crumbs etc on the floor. This tray does away with all that. I also find it very useful to lay my laptop on if I am working out and about.
