Easy to setup and works really well
We used this on a board room TV. It only took minutes to setup, is full of features and a handy remote. And the casting from a laptop to the screen made it perfect.
Brilliant for turning older TV into smart TV
Perfect for putting an older TV into bedroom where no aerial cable. Really easy to set up and get things want like iplayer, spotify, itvx etc. I’d had a NOW stick years ago and that came with the USB plug which would have beenuseful with this as had to go and purchase one.
Recommended Streaming Stick
Turned my TV into a smart TV. Installation and set up were a doddle. The only difficulty was to link it to the Roku app on my phone as the app frequently can’t find the stick so I have to go and find the remote.

Local village rolled out fibre to the house, so we could at long last sack off Sky. This Roku device is fool proof and lets you get access to BBC iPlayer, Now TV, Channel 4, Netflis, Primer…everything. I’m happy just watching the screensaver!
Great value
I purchased this to expand the channels on my little girls smart tv, we could only get certain channels by manually searching for them. This made an easier option to make the tv for accessible for a 5 year old. Hassle free installation. It took two mins to set up.
Better than a Fire stick
Having purchased several Fire sticks to update older tv’s to ‘smart TV status’ I decided to try the Roku as it was considerably cheaper and I needed one for the old TV in our guest bedroom. I am very impressed with the quality of the device and remote and it has performed faultlessly, whereas the fire sticks can be a bit glitchy. It loads quickly and navigation via the remote is very good. I didn’t like having to put in credit card details and I couldn’t see a way around it but some reviews say that you can. If so it wasn’t obvious to me!

I bought a used one and the last owner didn’t sign out of everything so my Roku is not called Chloe and has her email and details attached to it and idk how to remove it without her authentication. But overall really easy to set up and managed to log in into all my accounts but idk how to change the Roku email from hers to mine.

You will need a HDMI port on TV (for signal) and a USB port for power (if not on TV can purchase a USB/plug adapter). Internet access wifi also needed.
Replace NOW TV box
This item does not offer 4K Resolution output as listed in the Product Details section. It is a good match for my 1080 Full HD TV that will enable me to ditch a NOW TV box, and it’s monthly payment, as I was not using the paid for channels.
I bought this Roku kit to update our Caravans tv. There’s a usb cable to plug into the tv’s usb port for power, a hdmi for picture and a remote control, once tv is turned on just follow the on screen information ( obviously turn tv to hdmi input) you will need to input a credit card for any films purchased at a later date, there’s so many sites to add as required, prime, netflix, itvx,rakuten tv & so many more is it worth 29.99 most definitely.

I really like my Roku device. I really just didn’t want a fire stick as I’d had one before and wanted something different. I also like that it has a Spotify button as I play music a lot and the purple screensaver is nice. A volume button would have been nice and I feel the screensaver (as much as I like it) comes on too quick if you pause something but aside from that I’ve had no issues with it.
Roku box
The roku is so easy to use, but only gripe is there no Bluetooth in the box. I have use the roku app, and that is unstable. If I had known I would got a didn’t modal.
Easy to set up
This was recommended to me by a relative and has not been a disappointment easy to set up and use although I’m not a massive user of TV streaming services the range of free programs and channels is good enough for me.

Love this! I got it for an old TV that did not have a streaming service. The channels are great and that’s a surprising amount of free programmes to watch. There’s a bit of a problem with subtitles for casting videos and/or using Web TV when streaming but it’s not a priority since its only me who really needs them and the rest of the family are happy. Purchased the fire stick HD and was so disappointed with the speed of loading as well as the operating system – it’s just not user intuitive.
So bough the Roku as had a ‘NowTV’ stick previously – and it did not disappoint!
The Roku is just so user intuitive, it makes sense in the layout – simple and everything you need on the Home Screen rather than too much like the fire stick.
So speedy in getting the app you need and loading it as well as loading films/programs.
Would definitely recommend this over the fire stick (if you haven’t worked that out already!).
I have been using the Roku express model 3900x for the past five years and found the features and performance very good. Just upgraded to the new 3960EU model and found it is much faster than the previous model, every button press on the remote is much faster, instant rewind is now instant, with a delay on the older model. it also has dual band wifi, the old model was single band. very pleased with this buy.
I was having problems accessing Amazon movies and TV through my BT YouView box so I took a chance ordering this little device rather than a more expensive fire-stick. It was a good choice as it does everything I expect from it. It’s easy to operate and makes selecting the various streaming services a doddle. It’s good value and I highly recommend it.
Very simple box, which isn’t a bad thing. Bought it for older person, an upgrade to their plasma tv. Once you set it up is simple and straight forward to use, it might get tricky when setting it up. You do it all on provided remote so with long Wi-fi passwords this might take some time.

Remote doesn’t have power button so the unit powers on with your TV, if you have it plugged to TV’s USB. You access it by choosing sourceinput on your TV’s remote.
