Customer Service from company is 5 sta
When I encountered a few technical issues the company were on hand to help! Even at the weekend. Great product we have about 10 in the whole family! So reliable, I’ve got one on my bag, purse and car keys
Trackers
Very good when connected to iPhone know where my stuff is now. Thank you and battery life is good range is pretty close by but you can see where it is at any time.
Nice Smart Tag
Finding misplaced items has never been easier, thanks to the Smart Tag Oval for Apple iOS Devices. As an iPhone user, I was pleased to find that this smart tracker seamlessly connected to my device right out of the box.
The compact design makes it perfect for attaching to a backpack, keychain, or luggage, providing peace of mind knowing that my belongings are always within reach. While it may be a bit bulkier than some other trackers, its versatility more than makes up for it.
One of the standout features of the Smart Tag Oval is its loud sound, which makes locating your items a breeze. Whether it’s buried at the bottom of your bag or tucked away in a drawer, you’ll have no trouble finding it with the help of the iPhone Find My app.
Overall, the Smart Tag Oval is a reliable and convenient solution for keeping track of your valuables. With its easy setup, durable construction, and loud sound, it’s a must-have accessory for anyone prone to misplacing their belongings.
Works Grea
These are really nice to have. When you lose something important and you are able to recover it, that can be priceless.
These work just like branded Apple tags. They show up in the Find My app so you can locate them. They are capable of being located by any network device that might be in proximity to it. It does this without compromising security or privacy and does not expose data to any device or person except for the device it was originally setup on.
Other network devices are unaware and have no knowledge that they are participating and their users don’t either. They simply act as a signal booster to your device and only relay information of the devices last known location. It’s what your device needs to find things when they get lost.
Great option for maintain good location data on your belongings.
Trackers for pets
A little large for a cat, but does the trick, they get used to it. Liked the rubber cover. When searching for my cat, it is better to go off wifi and use mobile data, the location finder is more accurate, otherwise they always show as at home. Can’t rate the battery as yet.
Easy to set up
This is a re order as going on holiday shortly so needed extra for passport and luggage. 3 of 4 set up in less than a couple minutes the forth not pairing. Contacted help via QR code to What’s App and outlined my issue in less than a minute reply with advice to reset tag and hey presto back in businessgreat product made better by on the ball courteous staff, highly recommended.
Great Value. Alerts Are Too Quiet. Good Quality.
The quality of construction is excellent.
Easy to pair.
Less expensive option compared to Apple AirTags.
Compact design.
Easy to use.
The tone volume is too low so less useful than possible.
Very easy to set up
This is a small device and works quite well using Apples ‘find my’ app.
We bought this for my aging mother in law as she has previously lost her hand bag and other items. Now we can track and trace.
I ordered these for an upcoming international trip. Setup was fairly simple with the Apple Find My app. However, I was having an issue with 2 of the 3 tags that arrived. The first one synced with my phone effortlessly but the other 2 kept giving an error message. I reached out to the company and advised them of my upcoming trip and confirmed that the issue was not a user error. They assured me that you can sync several of these tags to one device. Due to the error, they quickly shipped 2 replacements. They both arrived working perfect and now I have the assurance when I travel, that I will know the location of my bags. I can't give a product review as I am writing this prior to the trip, but the company is great and customer service is obviously their priority!

I am terrible with technology but this is so simple to set up and use. I have a very active puppy, so i have attached this to her harness and it is so precise. Brilliant buy. I could not rate the battery life yet as I have only had it a few days.
So far 10/10
Works well but not loud enough
Set up easily with the Find my App.
Tested it by hiding my keys around the house and it sounded when I pressed the App, however I had to enter each room to hear the alarm which sounded for about 10 seconds.
Works well
Very easy to set up , they work well .comes with battery fitted (remove tag to activate) and a replacement battery in the box.Don’t know how long the batteries will last as only had it a week.
Good price
For “Find my” tags these are a good price.
Tag is a light plastic, odd/long shape and because of that might be more prone to breaking.
The first one added to my phone without issue, the 2nd one wouldn’t add, I then removed the battery for a few minutes and tried again and it worked… Not sure what’s up with that but had it happen once before.
Since it uses Find My it has all the same capabilities from notifications, lost mode, playing sounds, locating the last time/place it was seen, sharing with other Apple users, etc…
This tracker gives all but 1 feature of the AirTag, it doesn’t do finder (because it doesn’t have the Ultra Wide Band chip), but with a very loud Play Sound it’s no loss for most applications, except maybe deep inside a suitcase.
Overall for the price it’s worth thinking about it.
Great little gadge
Great little device. Really easy to set up on my iPad. Clear instructions although could be larger print to make it easier, but I am old. I emailed the company to ask about battery life, they answered straight away and said to turn it off when not in use. Obvious really. Would defo recommend it.
Great produc
Great item, really fast delivery and so easy to use. I shared the item
Location with my siblings to test it and they could see it immediately. Even comes with spare battery
Great value as a 2 pack. Work well.
Ok so a 2 pack of genuine Air tags are 58. You then have to get a case for them to attach to anything.
These are as of Feb 2024 26.09 with a 10% voucher, so much better value.
A loop is incorporated on them so you can instantly hang them on your keys.
A nice touch is that a little plectrum is included so that it is easy for you to replace your battery.
Using the tool the tag comes apart really easily and snaps back in place.
Free replacement battery also included.
Set is a doddle. Open the find my app and pair.
Tested around the house and it works well. Easy to find using the app and the beep is reasonably loud.
For the price, cannot fault.
So far so good
I got these for my eldest as he is forever losing things. So far he hasn’t lost his keys. Easy to set up and easy to locate what’s been lost. Unfortunately I can’t out one on his phone
Pros
* Small enough to go on keys and has a suitable loop
* Easy to set up
* Appears to work as an AirTag would
Cons
* A bit too thick for a wallet I think (despite their photos)
* One was louder than the other (possible quality control weaknesses)
* Doesn’t (I think) make an anti-tracking noise,
More detail
If you want to know the basics of how Find My and AirTags work, have a look at my bit at the end which presents an idiot’s guide (i.e. it’s my guide )
I haven’t used an AirTag before, so some of this will be obvious to seasoned AirTaggers and I can’t directly compare to an AirTag. I’ll write this from a perspective of someone dipping their toe in.
In the box you get a bunch of bits: the tag itself, a spare battery, a wrist lanyard, a spudger (presumably for opening the tag in future to change battery), some instructions, a contact details card and a panda keyring.
The tag itself is small enough and light enough to have on a keyring although I might investigate their other models which are even smaller. It has a hole for a keyring or lanyard which from what I can tell is already an advantage compared to the style over substance AirTag which wouldn’t be seen dead with something as practical as a hole, dahling.
At 7.8mm thick I wouldn’t want it in my wallet (how am I gonna fit my fat wad in there with it?!)
Setup was easy if you already use Find My (which I do). Otherwise you may have to go through some extra steps (enabling two factor authentication for your Apple ID, turning on Bluetooth and location services).
The instructions for those extra steps were OK, but not perfect so you may need to refer to some other instructions (I’m guessing instructions for AirTags will get you there).
There’s a battery strip to pull out to activate the tag. It turns on as soon as you do that and makes a noise.
The instructions say that this will work on iOS 14.5 upwards. I don’t actually have an iPhone, but have a few iPads. I used one with iPad OS 17.3 installed and the tag was detectable on another iPad with 14.7.
In the Find My app this is added as an Item not a Device. I think this is the same as AirTags.
I was then able to see the location of the tag straightaway.
Later I tried the function in Find My to have the tag make a sound. This didn’t work at first. Find My said it couldn’t contact the tag (despite it being only about five feet away). I tried again and it worked however and it beeped for a short while.
The first beep is quiet and then it gets a little louder. I’m afraid I don’t believe their claims of a 75dB loud noise. I measured it at ~56dB (max) with my meter next to one of the tags. From a metre away it’s about 50dB. 55dB is similar level to a fridge (although as a beep it’s quite different). 75dB would be a vacuum cleaner (although sadly not our ridiculously noisy one made by that James bloke which is louder still).
I tried it with the other tag and that was quite a bit louder, but nowhere near the claimed volume. I’ve included a video which gives a rough idea about this.
In practice, the sound does carry quite well (I tried with the better of the two tags). I placed one at the kitchen as far from the door to our hall as possible (about 4.5m), swung the door to, but not fully closed and then went to the other end of the hall (about 5m). I could easily hear the tag. I then went upstairs. I could just about make out the noise from the top of the stairs.
So you’d have a fair shot at finding whatever you attached this to if within a few metres. Of course, any background noise would impact on this.
That all happens within Bluetooth range, so I next took it out of range of my device, but put it with a Wi-Fi connected iPad in a different location (and on a different network).
On my device I set it to Lost mode in the Find My app. I did this in the afternoon and then noticed that the last updated location from the tag had been several hours earlier despite it being close to my iPad all morning. Not sure what that as it’s behaved since.
It took the best part of an hour, but I then could see that the tag had been found with a location. I was able to see the other iPad much sooner than when the tag location was provided.
As far as I can tell from reading around this, none of that is down to this tag, but is normal behaviour for AirTags also. But you may want to look into it a bit more to see if how this all works is suitable for whatever you intend to do with it.
There is one potential difference with these tags for which I need to do some further testing. AirTags make a sound when they are out of range of their paired device and moving. This is designed as an anti-tracking measure and they should do this after about 15 minutes.
I tried to test this with this tag. I took one of the tags out without it’s paired device but with another iPad registered to a different AppleID. The tags did not make a sound. I contacted the seller to ask about this and they replied that the tags do send anti-tracking messages to nearby iPhones etc. They didn’t answer my question about them making a sound however. I also did not see any anti-tracking messages on the iPad used for this test. I cannot be sure that I’ve tested this correctly however, so take this bit with a pinch of salt.
Overall, this appears to provide the same functionality as an AirTag for less cash. It also has the seemingly small, but important, feature of a hole/loop to attach it to things.
The claims in the listing about the product and the pictures are all sensible, with the possible exception of the volume of the beeper (it doesn’t have a “speaker” as such). On mine at least, this was much quieter.
[How do AirTags and copies like this work?
I’ll keep this brief since there are a lot of guides out there. It’s perhaps best to dispel some common misconceptions first. These are not GPS tracking devices. They don’t actually know where they are. And the only way they can talk to anything is through Bluetooth to an Apple device (i.e. they don’t have WiFi or phones built in).
Clarification – Actually, although they can’t work out where they are themselves, they can and do ask nearby devices to tell them where they are. This is used for instance so that tags can start to make a noise if they are out of range of their paired device and moving. This is designed to stop sneaky tracking of people using an AirTag.
Instead they just keep saying “hi, my name is” every now and again on Bluetooth. If your i device which you paired it with is there and hears this, it is reassured rather than annoyed by the constant pestering.
But if you leave the tag behind (and you’ve turned on the Left Behind notification) your device will tell you that taggy isn’t talking to it anymore.
If you remain within Bluetooth range, you can also get taggy bleep to help you find it (or more importantly whatever it is attached to).
If the tag is out of range of your i device, but is in Bluetooth range of another i device or Mac, that device will hear this and pass the message on to Apple’s Find My network. That’s anyone’s device, anywhere — as long as they have Bluetooth turned on.
Assuming that the i device/Mac also has “location services” turned on, it will also tell Apple where it is (and therefore where the tag is near) and the Find My app will tell you.
The person who is near to the tag will also be alerted after a time if the tag stays with them. This is to help prevent misuse of the tags to track people without their consent. It will also display a message from you if you entered one in the Find My app when you marked your tag as lost.]
Easy
I liked these tags, it’s a cheaper alternative to Apple’s AirTags and now after testing I don’t see any benefit in spending more on an Apple AirTag that’s very easy to set up and use with Apple’s “Find My” app.
I’m going to start using more of these devices in my daily life now to help keep track of things I can’t afford to lose.
I can’t comment much on the battery life, as I only recently started using it.
Why pay more?
Whilst I do like AirTags they require extras such as cases, not to mention the cost, so given the amount of things I tag I like to try 3rd party accessories on objects such as my spare keys.
These tags work like a charm, pairing was instant and tracking accuracy so far seems to be on a par with pretty much everything else on the market.
It is nice that an extra key loop isn’t required though if you so wish there is a panda keyring and small wrist loop included in the box, as is a spare battery which is a surprising and very welcome touch!
Super easy to use!
Things go missing in my house all the time, especially keys and phones, so I was really happy to find these very slim tags to keep track! They’re so easy to use and set up practically instantly on an iPhone. The range is great and so far, they seem perfect!
A smart and handy device for finding your items
I got these smart tags for my keys and wallet, and I am very happy with them. They are easy to set up and pair with the Apple Find My app on my iPhone. They have a sleek and durable design, and fit well in my pocket. The best feature is the worldwide tracking, which allows me to locate my items anywhere in the world. I can also use the app to make the tag beep or flash, which is useful when I misplace my items at home. The battery life is long-lasting, and the app notifies me when it is low. This is a great product for anyone who wants to keep track of their important items. I highly recommend it.
Easy to set up and prevent me from losing my keys!
These smart tags are great value for money in this two pack configuration. Each Smart tag comes with a keychain, spare battery, and lanyard which allows you to attach the tag to pretty much anything you want.
Setting up is really straightforward and is done in iPhones ‘Find My’ app (no third-party at required).
The app allows you to see the Smart tag location, as well as get the Smart tag to play a sound to help you find it.
These really are brilliant and just as good as the branded ones.
Inexpensive alternative to Apple air tag
Inexpensive alternative to official Apple air tag. A pair of these smart tags are currently priced at 28.99 that is a little less than what you would expect to pay for one air tag, and that’s ignoring the eye watering cost of official apple keyrings.
These are slim, oval shaped, discreet, no huge annoying logos and with an overall length of just under 6cm.
What made me smile were they extras you get. I really wasn’t expecting a spare battery, that’s much appreciated. You also get a cute Christmas panda keyring, not to everyone’s taste but still cute.
Includes a small clearly written user manual. Straight forward easy to follow instruction to pair with iPhone. This will work just as well on an iPad. Note blue tooth and locations must be turned on for this device to work. Removing the tag from a phone and pairing to another phone or iPad is also straight forward. Also included are clear instructions how to replace the battery along with a small tool to enable this.
Hopefully this device will save me from those frustrating panics when I can’t locate my keys. Just have to use it proper now. If it lets me down I will come back and change this review.
Works like an airtag
These are great and better value than air tags. They work with the Find My app on the iPhone and shows up just like airtags. They can be put on keyrings or bags. I will be using them in suitcases for my holiday. They work off a flat coin battery which lasts about a year but can be easily replaced. They are thin and compact. The speaker is not very loud which is a shame and they don’t look like they would be waterproof but apart from that they work great and easy to set up.
