Connected to home TV Amazon fire stick to experience YouTube videos in high sound quality. My PC headphones are over 350 and these are now a must in the house when watching film and listening to music. Fantastic sound, fantastic fit, comfortable and great sound. Prefer these over my SSeries. Easy Bluetooth connect and Samsung compatibility. Control the volume of the tv from the headset. Premium features which many brands heavily priced don’t do. These are third pair in the house now and will always look to anker in the future. Brilliant price!! Would recommend to all.
I don’t spend huge amounts of money on headphones (my wife would kill me lol) but I do like a good full, clear and bass sound. For 35 I cannot believe the sound quality of these headphones. The ANC is good once you’re playing the music. It’s pretty good again, for the price. I didn’t realise my wife was taking to me so they must be decent. I’m really impressed with the headphones, especially for the price you pay for them. I was expecting to send them back but I’m really happy with them.
I bought these as cheap throw-in-the-bag headphones. I wasn’t expecting them to come up to the standards of my other wired headphones from Beyerdynamic and Audio-Technica and they don’t. That being said, they sound ok for the money once you set the EQ curve to reduce the over-cooked bass response.
They’re comfortable to wear. The ANC works reasonably well although it does affect the EQ curve. Battery life seems to be excellent. Overall, they’re fine for what I wanted them for and certainly worth the price.
I bought these for my husband, unknowingly he had already purchased some others! These though are very well made and the ear foam looks as though it was of high quality with a snug fit, so therefore I am confident they would cancel any noise other than what you were listening to! I cannot comment on the performance because they were never used! That being said, the reviews were and still are of excellent quality for this price range! They are lightweight, and even a fossil like myself could of connected them to my phone with ease. The battery life is right up there as per instructions of use against more expensive models.
I purchased this as a cheap and speedy replacement for the Turtle Beaches I was using prior. I have an arm mic, so I bought this thinking that it didn’t even have a microphone. Well, it does in fact have a microphone, and its much better than any Turtle Beaches headset microphone i’ve had in the past.
Its nice to have a headset with actual bluetooth and doesn’t require a usb dongle to be connected to the device in question.. This means it can be used on your computer, as well as a phone. I believe it doesn’t work on my PS5, although that’s not too much of a problem for me as it can be plugged in (mainly PC gaming for me, but I felt it was worth mentioning)
Very sturdy, and the sound is wonderful. When you sound up to the max, and something is quite bassy (a dragon flying overhead in game of thrones, or an explosion, for instance), the headset feels like it rumbles, you can feel the air, which can be quite immersive. I’m not sure if that is an actual feature, or just something my mind imagines, haha. Either way, I love them
Others have done in depth reviews so I won’t bother with that and instead will give a few pointers for those who just expect to take them out of the box and connect to Bluetooth.
When you get the headphones you may as well charge them straight away (took 90 mins but no big deal). Then download the app, turn the headphones on and follow the instructions. Very easy.
So 2 things to remember (well at least for me!). Firstly the default equalisation setting was set to Bass Booster – well it definitely does that! It was so boomy as to big painful for me. However if you click on the Bass Booster option you get a choice of lots of different settings to choose from. I found classical to be perfect for my ears. If that doesn’t suffice you can create your own custom settings so they end up sounding very good indeed.
Secondly I found they kept cutting out every 15 seconds or so which was frustrating. But this turned out to be another nearby Bluetooth unit trying to talk with my phone (for which it is also configured) – the moment I turned the other unit off there were no further dropouts.
I was going for a much more expensive set from another manufacturer but, due to really poor communication, decided to look elsewhere. I’m very glad I did as these were a 10th of the price and are absolutely fine.
I’ve never had headphones before so nothing to compare them with but I hoovered and the hoover was much quieter with these on so the noise cancelling is quite good. The sound seems very clear. Really handy for doing things around the house and speaking to friends ant the same time. I left my phone at the top of the house and they stayed connected.
My only bug bare is there is no case. I really resent having to pay half the cost of the ear phones to buy a case! What am I supposed to do with them when not in use? At least supply a cotton bag or something.
I ended up buying a soft case but it was still expensive.
Pleased I got them though, they’ll come in really handy and they look nice. Fairly comfortable too.
I’ve had ‘noise cancelling headphones’ before, wasn’t impressed. Bought these on Prime day and wow!! Gamechanger!! Sound is awesome, mega bass is deep. love the app so I can control everything on my phone. I travel to and from work by bus, so always engine & passenger noise. 1st time I pressed the noise cancelling button, that all disappeared! Sound is clearer than C.D, THE 1st headphones that doesn’t make my music stutter now & again whilst listening. Amazing for the price, Love them……. I came home from work 1st day using them, told my misses, bought these with you in mind, put them on and listen. So i said in transparent mode “can you hear me?”, Lisa said “yeah”, so i then said “can you hear me now?”, as i pressed the noise cancelling button on my phone, Haha Lisa said “I can see your lips move, but cant hear you?” I just giggled and thought Mmmm The gift that just keeps giving…
Been contemplating the expensive headphone range for months. Saw these in the Prime Day deal to “tied me over” my use is occasional for around the home. If you’re looking for an affordable pair of headphones with superb sound quality, look no further. Blown away with how great these sound for the price. I have an Anker Bluetooth speaker which is also excellent even after 2 years. It doesn’t come with the thrills of the expensive brands, no case and they’re basic plastic design but for casual use that isn’t an issue. They’re also super comfortable.
Rare that I buy things these days and feel smug with what a good deal I got, but this is genuinely one. Even at full price I would highly recommend these and saved me hundred of pounds as I won’t be bothering to purchase the premium pair I intended to!

And for those moments when you’re feeling a bit old school or just dealing with tech that’s as outdated as a floppy disk, there’s a handy 3.5mm audio cable to plug in. Retro chic, anyone?
Pairing these bad boys with my Google Pixel was easier than finding a Gregg’s in Manchester — a simple, no-fuss affair. And let’s talk brass tacks — for the price, these headphones are the bee’s knees. They’re worth every penny, and then some.
So, if you’re looking for a travel companion that won’t hog the armrest and will drown out the drone of the engines (and the chap snoring next to you), the Soundcore Q20i is your ticket to audio bliss.
Bought these to enable me to focus on work despite a lot of background noise in the house. They work even better than I’d hoped, offering superb noise-cancelling with or without listening to anything else through them. Also very comfortable to wear and sound quality for music, etc, is great. As is battery life so far. PERFECT.
I didn’t want to spend a fortune but I wanted noise cancelling and no-noise cancelling options for when I still need to be aware of my surroundings.
This model fits the bill. I have a fairly small head. These are comfortable to wear, maybe a bit heavy but manageable, sound quality is good however I don’t have a frame of reference or other models to compare to.
What I can say is I’m happy with the purchase – good value for money, good performance, excellent battery life. I like the sound quality.
The design is a bit bulky, which I wouldn’t have chosen. They don’t wrap around my head in a flush neat way in the way I see other brands/models do. However, overall I’m happy with the purchase.
First and foremost the sound from these headphones is excellent. Clear, ample bass and articulate with the spoken word or music. I paired with the Anker App and experimented with the pre set sounds available. I prefer dance and R&B music and settled on the pre set standard delivery, though there are plenty of styles and room for personalisation through the EQ settings.
The phones were easy to pair and provide a nice touch in staying the battery level on start up. They sit comfortably and have lots of adjustment. They are best suited to seated listening as they were prone to slip and slide when worn whilst bending and tilting. Not used in the gym yet so remains to be assessed.
When worn, I feel they look a bit ugly with the headband and ear cups really obtrusive and bulky compared to others I have used. Charging was no problem with LED indication available.
Overall I would recommend on sounds alone but looks are very personal and I feel they could be more sleek and stylish.
I enjoy the noise cancellation and it really helps as I often ride on the bus

Sadly the reason I gave it 4 and not 5 is that they heat my head a lot and this is getting worse during the summer as my head feels extremely warm and I often have to remove them to air my ears.
Otherwise they are comfortable and I don’t feel odd walking around with them o
Was looking for a replacement or back up headphones as I was getting fed up of waiting for my other headphones to recharge. Looking through Amazon I came across the Soundcore Q20i’s and from the reviews seemed a good fit for what I needed. I’m comparing these against a Bose Q35ii headphones I’ve had for years so this is just my experience.
Noise cancellation is actually very good for the price I got them at (there was an offer of around 40% when I got them). I’d say the Bose just wins out, but it’s very close.
Sound quality is where I think some areas can be improved. You can make your on EQ if you wish, but I think most people will use the default settings. All these default settings are good, but I think the default setting could be improved slightly since when on default I can hear ever knock and press of button on headphone. That’s just my experience and isn’t a deal breaker for me.
Battery life is were the Q20i beats the Bose hands down. My Bose can get down to around 50-60% when used to listening to music or used with a computer via the bluetooth option and they take a while to charge back up. The Q20 used the same way would only sometimes get down to about 80% plus a quick charge and you are back up to full charge and even when I’ve not charged them everyday to get back up to a full charge is way quicker than the Bose. Only thing I would to have seen is a longer USB charging cable. Unless you can charge from your computer or desk with a USB port, the headphones will have to sit on the floor next to a USB dock or plug. This problem can be solved by getting a longer third party lead as most headphone will come with these shorter charging leads anyway.
Two minus points I will point out is I use headphones to listen to YT videos and I’ve noticed the Q20i sometimes will almost sound like they are cutting in and out the audio ever now and again. I tried the different default settings to see if it was the noise cancellation coming into play but it still did it when on the default original setting. Maybe something either with my computer or if other people have experienced this, it can be solved with an update via the app. In addition the bluetooth sometime won’t automatically connect to the last device and I’ve tried doing as the instructions said, but sometime I have to go into my phone’s bluetooth and manually select the headphones. I don’t have to do this with the Bose.
The buttons are tricky to find and it’s hard to distinguish the play/pause button from the adjacent volume buttons so it’s easy to press two at the same time by accident.
I’ve found the earpads to be a good fit, providing some passive noise reduction even when not switched on.
The ANC is good for the price but not great. When walking beside a busy road, the ANC reduces traffic noise to a tolerable level for listening to music. I’ve not needed the transparency mode for situational awareness when crossing the road as approaching traffic is still audible when playing music at a medium level.
Wind noise isn’t dealt with well. Starting in ‘Normal’ mode (no ANC or transparency), when the ANC is switched on the noise level doesn’t reduce but the pitch increases, which I find more annoying. In the absence of other noise (e.g. from traffic) I wouldn’t use the ANC in windy conditions.
I did back-to-back ANC tests of the Q20i against top of the range Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones and as expected the Anker headphones aren’t in the same league. With various noise sources such as a vacuum cleaner, high speed fan, and heavy traffic, the Q20i provides useful noise reduction but not nearly as much as the Sony. That’s not a criticism as they are fine for the price, but don’t expect to get top of the range ANC at a bargain price.
Overall I think they are great as budget headphones.
