Does what it’s supposed to do!
We like the bright green colour of wire so we don’t trip over it! All good works as it should – happy with my purchase as saw the same one in Morrisons supermarket UK and it was 4 dearer than here.

Bought this to be able to get power to use with my strimmer in the garden. You can store it easily a and very long and over a month now its durable and still works very well.

eeded this to work with an electric weed burner with an extension lead that would take the amperage, so long as i fully unwind this from the reel it takes the amperage. my existing extensions was getting far too hot, this does not. So defo does the job and was/is good value compared to some others on the market.
Convenient and durable
We bought this to use outdoors with our electric mower as it couldn’t reach the bag 5 meters of our yard.
The cable reel is very convenient as you can simply unroll the amount of cable needed and leave the rest on the reel. The cable is easy to wind out and in again and we haven’t had any jamming or tangling so far. Two sockets available if needed and built in safety features. The price was the best I could find on Amazon or in local shops.
Great extension cord, but beware the rain covers
I needed a new extension cord for the garden to reach the end for trimming the wild foliage and getting the strimmer to do the edges of the lawn. Given the British weather, I opted for something more apt for persistent drizzle. This fits the bill perfectly.
It reels in and out well, with the two openings causing some confusion every time, in fairness. The winding is fine and smooth with some care needed on threading the cable back in so it doesn’t bunch up to one side.
The covers are firm and stiff, but this gives some confidence for keeping the socket dry. That being said, some plugs are too big and as a result of these covers, simply don’t fit in it. My electric smoker has had to move closer to the external outlet to be used (wafting smoke into the kitchen every now n then), so buyer beware if you have a large plug that goes up over the single pin at the top, this may not work for you.

What can I say about an extension cord?? – I have had a few extension cords in my time but never one this good – now I could get all technical, but everything you need to know re length, colour, sockets, surge protection and water resistance is in the description of the product and is correct and true!
I mainly bought this for use with the lawn mower and strimmer and any other incidental stuff I may need power for in the garden. Use in the home was very much a secondary consideration. My main worry was that in very long grass it would be easy to miss and go over with the mower. I no longer worry about that! It is such a “striking” almost luminous green that you would never mistake it for something natural! I love the fact that I can clip a cover over the plug of the item I am using. I never worry if it starts raining as I have enough coverage to not worry about getting electrocuted while I pack everything away lol.
However, by far the best feature for me is (and yes, I know this may be petty to a lot of you) the housing of the cable. First of all the extension is 20M long and it is a heavy due to the quality. Many cords that you get of this length are often hard to reel into their housings. Not this one! For once, they have designed a housing that has enough space for the full reel, I also swear it must be on some kind of ball bearing system as no effort is required to reel it all back in- I told you it was petty, but it is the small things in life!
Overall – this is the best extension cord I have ever owned!
Very nice looking too, chunky wiring BS mark power ratings coiled and uncoiled clearly labelled, that’s about all you can ask for in an extension leads and review I suppose, lol.
