Super Einsteiger Set in die Arduino Wel
Das Elite Explorer Kit der Firma SunFounder kommt in einem nett gestalteten Karton, in welchem sich eine transparente Aufbewahrungsbox befindet. In dieser Box befinden sich alle Komponenten gut und sicher verpackt vom Arduino bis hin zu einem Display ist alles dabei, um viele verschiedene Dinge ausprobieren zu knnen.
Was mich sehr freut, ist das ein Original Arduino Uno R4 WiFi im Lieferumfang enthalten ist und nicht ein billig Klon. Durch die integrierte WLAN-Funktion kann man den Arduino fr diverse Projekte auch mit dem Internet verbinden und so in die Welt der IoT-Devices eintauchen.
Online findet man diverse Tutorials und Anleitungen, um viele verschiedene Einsteiger, aber auch fortgeschrittene Projekte zu realisieren. Hierbei wird man Schritt fr Schritt durch die einzelnen Abschnitte gefhrt und alles wird ausfhrlich erklrt.
Ich htte mir ehrlicherweise auch eine Projektanleitung in Papierform gewnscht, aber fr den Preis war das wohl leider nicht mehr realisierbar. Hier kann ich aber aufgrund der Flut an Komponenten ein Auge zudrcken.
Mitgeliefert wird ein Bluetooth fhiger ESP32, ein kleines OLED- Display, ein IIC LCD1602, aber auch Servos, Relais und diverse Sensoren. Das alles hat anfangs auch in die Aufbewahrungsbox gepasst, nach ein paar Experimenten war das jedoch leider nicht mehr der Fall, so dass ich den Arduino und das Steckboard rausgenommen habe.
Eine etwas grere Box wre hier schon schn gewesen, um wirklich immer wieder alle Komponenten verstauen zu knnen, ohne sich Sorgen zu machen, etwas zu beschdigen. In meinem Fall war auf einem der Boards die Stifte nicht gerade aufgeltet, so dass man dieses nicht ohne nachzulten verwenden konnte. Fr mich war das kein Problem und ich hoffe, es ist ein Einzelfall, aber ich wollte es dennoch mitteilen.
Alles in allem bin ich vom Set bezogen auf die Preisleistung sehr berrascht es sind so viele Komponenten enthalten, so dass man, wenn man diese einzeln kauft, auf einen hnlichen Preis kommt. Nur hier gibt es zustzlich noch die umfangreichen Tutorials. Von mir gibt es daher 4 von 5 Sterne.
Tutorial Arduino Uno R4 WIFI
Ich habe das Kit auf Empfehlung der Tutorial-Reihe von Paul McWhorter gekauft. Dieses Kit wird in der gesamten Serie “Arduino Uno R4 Wifi” gebraucht.
Die Lieferung von AMAZON kam pnktlich wie angekndigt an. Der Preis ist OK und gnstig fr ein so umfangreiches Paket.
Man kann dann sofort starten mit der Arbeit und dem Selbststudium des Arduino Uno R4 Wifi.
Ich habe schon einige Kits fr meine Arduino-Basteleien ber AMAZON bezogen.

Fantastic kit, excellent gift, well worth the money for quality components
This kit may be just a bit advanced for younger kids, but it is perfect for anyone from probably 8 to 80!
The components included are quality parts, including a real Uno R4 WiFi board rather than some clone. The list of included parts and sensors is quite extensive, and will lead to months of exploration and learning. Check out the company website for online tutorials, and let your young (or old) coder loose to enjoy. One really nice touch is that the power supply module has a built-in rechargeable battery, this will save a lot of headaches over time.
I think this kit would make an outstanding gift for the tech-inclined experimenter, and might allow parents a bit of a break at times once their kid gets into it and starts discovering things for themselves.
The only negative I can say I’ve found about this kit is that once you open it, you’re probably never getting all of the included parts back into the case – they really jammed it full of stuff!

Ein richtig großes Set mit vielseitigen Möglichkeite
Da mein Sohn schon erste Erfahrungen mit einem Arduino Nano und einem kleinem Set gemacht hat und seine Freude daran hatte, bestelle ich fr ihn dieses groe Set von SUNGOUNDER, welches auch schnell und gut verpackt geliefert wurde.
Obwohl ich schon selbst 2-3 Sets fr mich bestellt habe, so ist dieses Set bisher das grte und mit sehr, sehr vielen Teilen ausgestattet. (>300)
Das Herzstck ist natrlich der original Arduino Uno R4 mit integriertem FiFi & Bluetooth. Weitere Highlights ist das LCE Board, ein RFID Modul inkl. Chip, das beliebte und przise Ultraschall Modul, ein Servomotor, ein Schrittmotor und eine Steuereinheit fr den Schrittmotor und etliche Sensoren fr die Lufttemperatur und die Luftfeuchtigkeit, sowie ein Sensor fr die Feuchtigkeit im Boden oder Blumentopf.
Das kleine aber feine OLED-Display sollte man natrlich nicht vergesse. Es kommen hier noch Naster, Schalter, Regler und etliche Dioden und viele Widerstnde dazu.
Die Qualitt finde ich gut. Die Anwendungsmglichkeiten sind natrlich gigantisch und vielseitig. Prima finde ich natrlich auch die Tutorials, die man online findet. Von Vorteil ist natrlich auch die inzwischen groe Online-Gemeinde die auch weiter helfen kann.
Online findet man auch die ntigen “Treiber” oder Programmteile, die fr die Module bentigt werden und kostenlos heruntergeladen werden knnen. Hier zahlt es sich auch aus, dass man ein original Arduino Board hat, da es fr dieses auch die breiteste Untersttzung und Programme gibt und diese problemlos mit auf dem Board laufen. Persnliche Anpassungen sind natrlich mglich.
Mit diesem groem Set kann man natrlich ungemein viel lernen; ber Elektrotechnik, Aufbau, Programmierung, Schaltkreise, elektrische Module, Messtechnik und Steuerung usw.
Mein Fazit: Ein tolles und sehr umfangreiches Set, das sein Geld wert ist. Allerdings nicht wirklich fr einen blutigen Anfnger. Der sollte erst mal mit einem kleineren Set anfangen und mal in diese Welt rein schnuppern, ob es einem liegt. Fr den Profi, Hobbybastler oder sehr ambitionierten Fortgeschrittenen ist es aber klasse, da man es auch mit anderen Sets und Boards (Arduino Nano) oder auch mit anderen Boards kombinieren kann, da meisten Bauteile auch da verwendet werden knne.
Mein Tipp: Es lohnt sich, wenn man mehr als ein Mikroprozessorboard und ggf. auch Steckboards hat, da man wirklich viele Projekte machen kann und einige gerne lnger laufen lsst.
In der Gesamtwertung sehr gerne volle 5 von 5 Punkten.
Great Arduino Kit for beginers
This is a great Arduino Kit that comes with an original Arduino. Unfortunately, this is my first such set, so I have nothing to compare it to. All I can say is that I found a few problems:
– GY-87 IMU Module is not working. When uploading a sketch, I see a message that the MPU6050 is not found. (Maybe this is because the Arduino Uno R4 is new and not all components work with it.)
– the Stepper Motor does rotate in one direction but does not want to rotate in the other. It seems as if the gear inside has been erased.
These points spoil the overall experience a bit, but I still recommend this kit if you want to play around with Arduino a bit.
I found it a great way to begin. It needs dedication and patience. I'm still feeling very n00b.

This is a real ARDUINO, not a clone. That is already a great way to begin my journey!
Every piece of hardware, as you can see in my 7+minutes video, is clearly identified. As I deiscoverd later, the parts are mainstream and if I damage one accidentally, they can easily be found in my local electronics store. I feel like a young sheldon building my first PC.
The carrying box and the inventory and resistor stcikers are built to be kept for a long time. This is a set that is really made for an explorer and to remain in great working condition for a long time.
The provided resources are more than enough for someone that knows where he is going, and the online community is, to be frank, huge and a bit confusing at first. My advice, and I hope you can be as lucky as I am and that you have an electronics store in your city, is to go see your radioshack-addison-whatever geeks. The guys over there quickly steered me towards a “true beginners” community that made my beginning journey a real pleasure. And they actually sold me a few veray affordable add-ons that made my journey even more fun.

In the kit, even though it is not clear at all, there is a large breadboard that is sufficient for most of the basic and intermediate level projects out there. In the ad pictures, this is only shown in the last picture, and when zooming at the bottom left of the last picture.
In our addison store, telling the guy behind the counter that I was begining to learn how to trigger and control electronics using Arduino was an unexpected conversation starter. It appears that there is a lot of Arduino enthusiasts in my city and they are all eager to share advice and experiences.

Superb kit with new original Arduino board, not a clone.
Having looked at various Arduino kits, this one stands out for several reasons:
PROS:
+ Of course the inclusion of the new Uno R4 MCU with Wifi. This is an original Arduino board, not a clone. This can be appreciated by the level of polish in the labelling and clean installation of the headers and ports.
+ The LCD screen with the I2C component soldered on. Commonly in other kits, I2C support is missing, so setting up the LCD screen component will require painfully connecting a lot of pins, probably discouraging people from using the LCD component.
+ The RGB light strip (aka NeoPixel). Controlling more than one LED can be tedious as many will find out. This component makes it fun and easy from the start.
+ The OLED screen. This is a smartwatch size screen so don’t expect to watch a movie on it, but is a nice extra for a matrix display.
+ The power module is equipped with a rechargeable battery, so you can use your project without being connected to a wall socket or your computer.
+ Audio module with a speaker. Nice addition over standard buzzer components.
+ No soldering required at all. All the components have their headers attached already.
+ Possibly the best part and it’s not even in the box is the online documentation. This kit has a very well written tutorial that makes for a very good learning experience. It’s broken down into the Basic projects where you’re just trying out all the components. This is usually where most other kits will stop, but this kit goes deeper with projects covering R4 Wifi specific new features, “Fun projects” (more elaborate projects) and Internet/Online specific projects.
Things that could be better:
– Weak explanation for transistors and capacitors. While these components are used in various project there is little explanation for why they are needed.
– The IR (infrared) receiver module is included, but an IR LED (transmitter) isn’t. This is almost never included, but would be a nice addition for creating an IR remote control.
– Just one potentiometer?
– The organizer box is nice but a little on the small size. While everything will fit, you’ll likely need to look elsewhere to store any new component you add.
A Little Bit of Everything
This set is so great! Not only do you get the nicer (i.e. wifi) model of the new Arduino (which appears to be a legit board, not a clone), you get a whole slew of different sensors and components.
If you have someone interested in EE, or you want to spark an interest, this is perfect. It gives you just enough to get going, and you can put together something complex enough that you’ll have a real sense of accomplishment when your stuff starts working.
Everything is well-packaged in a plastic container, with a diagram of what each component is. Their website has loads of information to get you started, and when you tire of that there’s no shortage of videos out there showing all sorts of projects for inspiration.
As nice as the case is, I’d recommend grabbing another one to store the smaller components to keep them nicely separated. Being colourblind, it is NO fun trying to find a specific resistor in a mixed pile, and i don’t love having more than one layer of items when I’m hunting for an item. Not a complaint, because this is certainly nicer packaging than many kits, just a quality of life improvement.
The pricing felt a little high until I compared it to a) other kits which include fewer components and older development boards; and b) what it would cost to put this together for oneself. Even if you could save a few dollars (and not many) building your own kit, you’d have to source every component and that is a pain in the behind; seriously, try buying just ten 2k resistors. It’s nice having the legwork done.
It is also worth pointing out that this new board is actually two boards in one. Not only do you get the new arduino, but you get an esp32 board (which some GPIO broken out for you) to handle the wireless communication. That saves a whole bunch of breadboard spaghetti.
So I’d say this is totally worth picking up, and I’m looking forward to making some LEDs blink!
