    Nice little extensio
Bought this to use in my camper van for a trip to Pompei in Italy where I am now. It’s small and efficient, I have it stuck on the side of the fridge near the inverter so it’s in use in seconds, I would recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersVersatile and Portable Extension Lead with Fast Charging!
I recently purchased this extension lead, and it’s been a game-changer in terms of convenience and functionality. The PD 20W USB-C fast charging ensures my devices are powered up quickly, whether I’m at home, in the office, or traveling. The rollable design and compact size make it easy to carry in my bag, eliminating the need for multiple chargers. The two AC outlets and three USB slots provide ample charging options for all my devices. If you’re in need of a versatile and portable extension lead, I highly recommend giving this one a try.

    Compact travel companio
On my travels, this extension lead has proven to be indispensable. Its compact design belies its utility, providing ample charging options without taking up much space. The fast-charging feature is particularly noteworthy, keeping my devices ready on the go. It’s a travel essential that addresses the modern need for connectivity and speed.

    Decent adapte
This is a useful extension lead and is particularly useful for travelling. It’s compact but fairly lightweight so doesn’t feel particularly well made. However, it’s useful as it has mains adapters and USB ports. It works as it should and is useful to have around. The instructions don’t seem to be for this particular device. Although you don’t necessarily need instructions it does give me some concerns about what this can be used for and what the maximum load would be for safe use.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersConvenient and functional solution to my power delivery issues
I feel this is a good solution for travellers within the UK in particular, reducing or eliminating the need for external chargers and ensuring that you have at least one power outlet in convenient reach. As the plug is rated at 13A, one that has changeable fittings for different regions of the kind that you find on some low current chargers would likely not be permissible, so I’m not knocking it for that; adapters are widely available and often provided by hotels if asked for.

The charging ports all worked fine and charged as expected. The total power available is up to 20W, shared across devices and not necessarily fully available for a single device. While it may not charge as quickly as other solutions, this is unlikely to be an issue unless charging large drained power banks. For typical devices such as smart watches and phones, it’s fine.

There are 4 low profile rubber feet that reduce slippage. An integrated rubber strap works well to keep the cable coiled around the body, which is attached with a lug inserted into a slot. I did notice this working itself loose over time and the lug coming half out, but it was easily pushed back in with no consequences. Something to be mindful of so it doesn’t completely fall off, but not a major issue.

There is an unfortunate typo in the manual that refers to an overload/fault protection device that is not present on this unit, but I’ve not reduced the rating as this wasn’t promised in the product description; it would be nice to have though when plugging in a 3rd party device of unknown quality and condition.

I’m often travelling to another location, and this self contained solution has solved issues of insufficient power outlets and the inconvenience of mixing adapters up, leaving an adapter behind or forgetting to take one in the first place.

    Ideal for cruising
The product description and the images give you an accurate picture of what you’re getting for your money here. Just be sure it’s what you want. It is not an adapter; if you want something that fits foreign sockets, you will need an adapter between this and the socket. It is an extension, with a 1.5m cable. Also it has no surge protector. So it is ideal for a cruise, where surge protectors are prohibited. The two mains sockets and three USB ports it offers will probably be sufficient. The quality is good.

The ‘user manual’ is a leaflet with microscopic print, describing a non-existent ‘red overload button’. Also, the current price of this item is at the top end. So I deduct 1 star for those issues.

    Great handy produc
“The Extension Lead with PD 20W USB C Fast Charger by STGAROT offers a compact and convenient solution for powering multiple devices simultaneously. The inclusion of PD 20W USB C Fast Charger ensures efficient charging for compatible devices, while the additional USB slots provide versatility for various gadgets. The 1.5M rollable extension cable adds flexibility to accommodate different setups, making it ideal for home or office use. With 2 AC outlets and 3 USB ports, it effectively expands your power options. While the design is compact and functional, a longer extension cable would enhance its reach. Overall, it’s a reliable and practical extension lead for modern tech setups.”

Useful Little Extension Socket but Overpriced
This travel extension lead arrived in a sturdy, unbranded cardboard box that also contains a user manual.

The user manual appears to have been copied and pasted from another device as it refers to a red reset button and there is no such button on this device.

It appears well made with a thick cable that should be more than capable of handling the quoted 3250W maximum load. The cable wraps around the body of the socket and is kept tidy by a thick elastic band (which is fixed to the socket to prevent loss). I tested both three pin sockets with a socket tester and they were fine (see pictures). There’s a small blue LED next to the USB-C port that indicates the device is receiving power.

The USB ports all work as they should but when I plugged my phone into the USB-C port it did not report that it was quick charging. This may be because my phone uses Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 (QC) and this USB-C port is Power Delivery (PD) so it’s really more suited to iPhones.

I got this mainly as a short extension for my travel hair dryer. Hotel rooms always seem to have the only available power point at the maximum distance from the only available mirror! Having an extra 1.5m of cable really helps. Packing this in my bag also means I don’t have to take a separate USB charger along and I have two mains sockets if only one is available in the hotel room.

This is a versatile and useful little device, especially when you’re travelling. My only criticism is that at 20.99 I think it’s overpriced for what it is and it loses a star because of that.

    Great for travel
Decent well made travel extension cable.
This cable is spot on for travel, it stows away nicely on itself so no leads flapping around in your case and the plug wont damage anything as the pointy bits are safely in the socket. The USB features are a welcome addition with charging for three devices keeping the other two sockets free for the kettle and hairdryer
The main cable is nice and thick so you can use power hungry devices without worrying about it melting. I measured it at 1.3m, it’s shorter than advertised so I knocked a star off for this.
On the whole though this is a very good extension cable.

Nice and Compact | Useful for many short-stay travellers | Minor cable issue
At the time of reviewing this extension lead (Feb 2024) the price is 20.99; however, a 4 discount voucher is available bringing the price down to a more reasonable 16.99. I feel it is still a couple of quid off the right price point, but 16.99 is still ‘reasonable’ value.

I have quickly become fond of this extension lead for use in my home due to its quick portability and a handy dual-purpose elastic loop which enables me to hook it out of the way when vacuuming, for example. It’s also handy to have on my workbench so I can quickly plug in my soldering iron, for example, without fumbling around behind the bench.

The packaging is simple, and the form factor is pretty much as small as you can get for an item like this making it a nicely compact unit that is very easy to throw in a bag or pack in a suitcase.

Three 5V USB slots [2*USB-A + 1*USB-C] feature in the centre of 2*three-pin plug sockets. The USB is stated as 5V 3.42A which would give an average of 5V 1A if all three slots were in use at once, or your device’s max if just one device is plugged in. They seem to reasonably solid with no bendy metal in the ports or looseness.

The mains cable is nicely coiled around the body of the unit terminating with a three-pin UK plug that you plug into an empty socket. This is where I am docking a star from my review because the cable is a bit too tight where it meets the plug so I’m not comfortable with that bend/kink where the two join, but it isn’t affecting how it works. It has also got a decent-quality strain relief so that settles any concerns beyond that aesthetic. The elastic loop goes around the unit to help secure the cable from coming loose. As mentioned, you can also use this to hang the extension off of a bedpost, for example.

All in all, a very useful and well-made travel extension that covers the needs of most solo or coupled traveller(s), and that is also extremely useful for the home – albeit with only 1m reach.
Recommended. Very happy. But the high price and that plug endpoint are enough to lose a star.

Travel extension cable with additional USB functionality
Compact travel extension lead with two three pin sockets, two USB type A ports, single USB type C port, and 1.5M cable, incorporated into a compact design for travelling.

Arrives in branded box, suitable for gifting, includes the extension lead and instruction booklet.

The main selling points of this item are the compact design and the inclusion of two USB type A ports, Single USB type C port (fast charging) along with two three pin sockets.

The 1.5 m cable wraps around the device and there’s attached rubber banding to keep this in place whilst travelling, there’s also four rubber feet on the bottom of the device so it can be placed on a surface without sliding around.

The plastic casing appears very strong and sturdy, with no concern of plastic snapping off even where the lead wraps around, though the item does not incorporate any separately switched sockets.

A decent compact extension lead, with additional USB functionality at a reasonable price point.

    Useful
A useful extension cord that comes with a handy rubber band to make travelling with it really easy.

It also has two USB ports and a USB-C port, so it’s handy for charging devices without using up a plug socket. Only the USB-C port is fast charge, bu the regular USB-A ports are pretty fast as well, it charged my fitbit in no time!

The only real downside is that when it’s plugged in there’s quite a bright blue light, which can be annoying at night when you’re trying to sleep!

It’s a bit on the pricey side, but you’re paying for the extra ports and the travel convenience.
