Decent sound quality, decent mic and comfy to wea
These are perfect for home working and teams meetings – the sound quality is good with a decent volume level and control, the mic is good and clear, the padded headband and ear pieces are comfortable.
The usb connection is good – its plug and play and is recognised and working straight out of the box.

Light weight and comfortable on, sound quality is ok and microphone picked up my voice and sounded good. Headset needed to be fully extended to fit my head (average size head).
Easy to use just plug in and windows will work with the set up.
I have payed a lot more for headsets so the Trust Roha II USB wired headphones with Microphone is a good bargain at 16.61 (at time of review).
Comfortable and easy to use headset.
This is a very easy to use USB headset from Trust, the headphones and microphone are selected automatically as the default devices when I connected the USB cable in Windows 11 and no further configuration was required. Windows Speech Recognition is being replaced by a new “Voice Access” app and running through the setup and testing of that was a breeze with this headset, every command I spoke was clearly understood first time, even with background radio playing in the same room. The audio quality is perfectly good for speech and video chats, and the earpads are soft and comfortable for long sessions, they don’t completely cover the ears so my ears did not get too hot. The headband is on the small side though, I had to extend it to its maximum range to fit on my quite big head, and the mic is fixed on the lefthand side, although it can easily be adjusted backwards and forwards and up/down (the mic switches off when twisted fully up). There is also a useful volume control feature (which is independent of Windows volume control) by twisting the righthand earphone. The headset is quite smart looking and suitable for professional business use and online interviews (eg no gimmicky lights to cause distraction). The cable is a good length, nearly 2 metres, so you can use the headset standing up at your desk too. When not in use the headset can be stored tidily back in the cardboard box which is designed for reuse.

I can’t believe the price of this microphone headset, under 17.00 at time of writing. Like other products from the Trust brand the quality is excellent. The headset is comfortable to wear, which is especially important for all day use. The sound quality is also more than adequate. Definitely recommended to all users.
Trust Roha II USB Headse
This product was sent to me to review, as part of Amazon Vine. Below is my own real-world experience of using it.
In terms of quality, it is a very sturdy, well-made item that has been finished to a high standard. The cable in particular is quite robust – the material used is thicker than you might expect, which is reassuring for longevity. It’s also of a decent length, so no need to worry about accidentally pulling it out of the computer.
There is some nice padding around the earcups and band, making the fit somewhat comfortable. I did feel that the width of the headset was a little on the tight side, though, as it was squeezing my ears. You can at least adjust the length to suit.
Having used the set for PC audio, I would say that it’s evident how it has been engineered to make speech sound clear, as that cuts through everything else (I tested it by streaming a video). It would therefore be excellent for use with conference calls, Teams, etc.
The inline volume controls are handy, whilst the ‘raise to mute’ function of the microphone is useful, if a little clunky.
Overall, a good value item.

Basic Headse
I ordered this headset to use with Teams and Skype software on my Windows PC.
Soon as you plug the headset in via the USB port, my laptop recognises it with no issues.
The headset is very lightweight and can be adjusted at the side of the headset to make it fit.
The wire on the headset is a nice length so you can move around while at your desk.
My biggest issue is the amount of padding used on the headset which makes it a little bit uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. The head set comes with padding on the top frame of the headset and on the earphones.
The headset sound quality is ok and the microphone is adjustable.
Overall, this headset covers the basics.
Headset with Microphone
This USB headset with microphone is perfect for my business needs with its 1.8m long cable allowing me to move freely around my desk and stay active on my treadmill without any problems. It’s a plug-and-play device which is exactly what I need during my busy work days, whether I’m on my desktop computer or laptop device – setup is nice and simple! The headset is lightweight, and the ear pads are comfortable on my ears, allowing me to wear them for long hours with without any discomfort. Given their quality, they’re well worth the money for an effective and comfortable headset.
Fautless plug and play simplicity
I really can’t fault this for the money. Plug and play simplicity, but plug it in before opening the platform / application that your using it with. It sits comfortably on the ears, has some padding in the headband, the microphone is fully adjustable and there’s a volume wheel on the right cup. Get a USB to USB-C connector and you can also use it with handheld devices (see photo). It has a long and thick cable. Basically, if you just need something to use to occasionally hop onto chat platforms and don’t want the hassle of Bluetooth connections, this fits the bill perfectly.
comfortable headphones
I have used Trust headphones many times in the past but I thinkthose were cheaper models of headphones than this, they usually had foam for headphone surrounds. These are a superior model with on ear adjustment of sound and soft plastic moulded earpiece surrounds. I am not sure about noise cancellation. I could hear voices well through them and the music sound is good for the type of headphones, one would not expect it to be brilliant but it is fine.
I always find it hard to know exactly where the microphone should go, it arrives bent totally out of shape in order to fit into the box and once bent out I assume that is where it is meant to be. To mute the microphone you push it into the upward postion. In the past I have had an in line adjustment which I admit I find easier to control.
They are comfortable though the ear pieces do feel a bit small as though they perch on your ears. I haven’t used them for an extended time so will report back on my findings when I have done so.
Good Budget Headphones
When we were initially asked to work from home my work provided top of the range headsets, but since that date they have not replaced them, instead we are asked to. I liked by posh headphones, but they were expensive and excessive. These ‘Trust Roha II’ headsets are perfectly fine for most intermittent work.
What do I mean by this? Someone who may have a couple of online meetings a day and not wearing them all day. The soft heads means that they are nice on the ear, but they will be uncomfortable should you be on call all day. These are basic headphones; they plug in and work instantly. The sound quality is clean and clear, but there is some bleed as the phones are small.
For under twenty pounds they are a quality budget headset, I do miss having a mute and volume control on the wire, but you can use these functions within most pieces of software that use headphones. I would happily use these as a second pair for a remote location, or for an hour or two a day of online meetings.
USB Headset with Microphone
Straight off the bat, this headset is designed on a budget and for voice calls. It is not designed for music listening.
Sound quality is, well …, it is okay for Teams calls, and you can clearly hear your colleagues talking. You could listen to music, but you won’t want to for long.
The quality from the microphone is again good enough for Teams calls, and it is easy to use and get close to your mouth. This helps cut out unwanted sounds from around you. Flipping the microphone up, mutes it fully, it does work as expected, but it does take some fiddling to flip it rather than just a light touch.
The cable is long, allowing for flexibility of where you sit. I would have liked to have seen a USB-C adaptor included, as many laptops now come with that.
Overall, it is a no frills headset that will do its intended job.
Superb quality sound
As far as sound quality goes during online meetings, you can’t really do much better than these. The clarity of sound that comes through is better than others I’ve tried, and the pads surround your ear fully, blocking out external noises almost as if they had active noise cancellation (which they don’t).
According to those I’ve been in meetings with, the microphone is also very good, with my speech coming through crisply. The only minor issue with the set I received is that the foam over the microphone arrived looking a bit chewed, but other than appearance this has no impact.
One thing I would say about these is that they are definitely on the small size. I have to fully expand the head band in order to get these to fit properly, and I have a relatively small head. I think those with larger heads may struggle. Once on, though, they are very comfortable.
The fact you can control the volume by twisting the dial on the right ear is really convenient, as is being able to mute the mic by flipping it up (although my paranoia probably wouldn’t allow me to rely on this entirely if I wanted to be certain nothing was being heard).
Good sound quality
Trust Ayda is a reliable, high-quality and affordable option for anyone in need of a headset for work or personal use. it is sleek, lightweight and comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The adjustable headband ensures a perfect fit and the soft ear cushions make it easy to wear for extended periods without feeling any discomfort. The 1.8m cable also gives me plenty of room to move around without feeling restricted. The sound quality is exceptional. The microphone picks up my voice clearly and eliminates any background noise, making my virtual meetings and calls crystal clear. The headphones also provide great sound quality, allowing me to fully immerse myself in videos and presentations without any disturbance. One of the standout features of this headset is its compatibility. It works seamlessly with my computer, and laptop.
Value for money
This is a perfect value for money microphone that does the job perfectly well. I use this as part of my daily Teams calls and it has been serving me well with no issues so far. The sound quality is good and I also never received a complaint about the microphone quality. I did some microphone check when I first used it and the output was clear and easy to understand. It’s a good option if you don’t mind a wired headset.
All in all, exactly what I need for work, a simply and easy to use headset.
Reliability on a budge
Whilst these don’t give all the bells and whistles of expensive headsets. Whilst they don’t give the most immersive experience to be had. They are a reliable budget option. They work as they should do and i know they won’t break or glitch out. The performance is solid and the price very appealing. They are a good budget friendly option.
Good for quiet home office
Lightweight and easy setup. Earpad is a bit small, it is alright if I use it for a few hours but will feel uncomfortable if I use it consecutively over 4 hrs. The sound and voice are clear and crisps. It is good for handling calls and video conferencing. I like the way it mute the microphone, simply flip it up and it mute, and it will unmute when you put it back down. Sound quality is good for calls but not gaming or high quality music playing. At the price of less than 15 at the time of review, I think it is a good price point for home office in a quiet environment (a room of yourself). You will need another model if noise cancelling is a must.
Fine for home office or business use, but not for games or music
This Trust headset comes in nice compact packaging with no plastic waste. The technical specifications of these are pretty standard for this years designs, with dual ENC mic and a 6ft cable.
In general the sound is exactly as you would expect, with increased treble and almost no bass. These are never going to be for serious listening. They are fine for background music and radio or audiobooks.
This specification of headset doesn’t really work well in anything other than an office environment. They are reasonably comfortable and stay in place. The overall poor audio is most suitable for office work, calls and so on, and the slightly open design allows external office noise to penetrate, which helps you to pay attention to your surroundings when working in a team.
The fit isn’t going to work with larger heads, and mine was close to that limit so it was a bit tight. It was fine to use for a couple of hours though, but I would not be able to use it all day.
For the price of 29.99 I would say these are a bit expensive, and should be at the 25 mark at most. Note that there is currently an Amazon voucher that gives you 33% of Microsoft Game Pass for PC when you buy this headset.
Overall these are too expensive and only really useful in an office setting, but for that specific job they work well. A good buy for a home office with light media consumption on the side.
Comfy headse
I found this headset to be surprisingly comfy, considering its basic design.
It fitted well to my odd shaped head and had a reasonable amount of adjustment for me.
The sound from the speakers is a little tinny, and the mic is OK but I could do with it being a bit better at filtering out background noises when I speak.
However, if you want a basic headset for Teams calls and the like, this is fine.

Great little headse
This is a lovely headset. Nice quality, both from the speakers and the Mic. The noise cancelling on the mic is pretty decent too.
This headset itself is reasonably light weight. But my reason for a star deduction is because of the tightness of the headband. I don’t have a huge head and this was tight on me. Made even more uncomfortable by the fact that I’m a glasses wearer. It’s ok in short bursts, but not for long sessions of wear.
Not a bad basic headset.
Basic headset, will do just fine for listening to music, voice calling and watching movies.
While it’s not gonna give you high end headset audio in games, it will do as a decent all round headset at a good price point.

Great for PC. Teams, ideal.
The sound quality is good, and loud, even for music.
Size / band adjustable to suit.
Twist the right ear to adjust the volume.
Push up the mic to mute it.
It’d be nice if you could physically take the mic off, as I use a separate desk mounted microphone.
Aldi the 3.5mm jack is a dated setup, you may prefer / need USB.
But negatives aside these are a nice pair of headphones for the price.
They fit nice on my headphone stand (not supplied). I plug them into my PC through this, then they show up in Windows as ‘Headphones (USB Audio Device)’ immediately.
Worked immediately
Having tried headphones that need charging from time to time, I often found that they ran out of juice at the wrong time and then you’ve got to wait until the batteries have charged sufficiently to be able to use the headphones and microphone again. This scenario is an inconvenience to me as I use the microphone for dictation during work. It might feel old fashioned to going back to headphones with a wire that’s connected by USB, but because it’s USB C these headphones fit everywhere from my desktop to my laptop. They’re light but not too light and certainly not heavy. The noise cancelling works quite well. The fact that these are made of mostly recycled plastic is a bonus and probably a rarity in this type of gadget or equipment. I like that the microphone goes on mute when I move it out of position. This is great when someone brings me a coffee. I have no idea how easy it will be to replace the ear pads as I do not know this brand. This was a very simple plug and play and I’ve used it online successfully, for meetings.

This is a low cost headset and therefore one would not expect the unit to be high quality, that said I think more should have gone into the comfort of the ear pads. They are quite small and there is not much padding. They will be fine for a short time but prolonged use would be a worry.
On the positive side the sound quality is good and the addition of an easy to operate volume control (adjusted by a large knob on one of the earpieces) is a welcome.
The connection is by 3.5 mm jack only, and the length of the cable is good.
I would say a good product at this price point.
