Needed an adapter on a recent trip to Italy – and Italy does not use the FR/DE format plug. The device is sturdy and nicely compact. It held well in the sockets used and did not pull out if used gently as plugs and cables were removed and the little foot did keep the unit from flapping against the wall.
Power was clean and steady and USB power was good for a single device or for a slower charge on multiple (3A shared).
Best travel adapter I’ve had
Ok, so this is a great device! Simple.
However. It is quite long, so just make sure you have one of those small adapters as well, just in case it won’t fit between the plug socket and any side table that is next to it.
Compact size for travel. The USB separated were very useful to free up space on the plug sockets. Fast charging so great performance and had no issues with using it on sockets in different areas, very easy to use, plugs enter and exit without issue. Great value for money!!

Got this to use on a recent holiday in Italy, where it was ideal for providing both two UK sockets and a built in USB charger.
We used it to power a small sensor light so we could find our way around at night, camera chargers and the USB sockets for phones. All worked as it should.
The wind out stabilising peg was not long enough for all the sockets we tried it on, though it was useful in our first location, the types of sockets varying between the places we stayed.
The longer plug section was useful in locations where the sockets were fitted next to light switches, other power adapter we have plugged in tight against the surface, meaning they tended to activate the lights! This one had plenty of clearance.

Brillant for travelling to Italy
This review is for a power socket adapter (UK to Italy) and built in USB charger.
Italy uses Type L power outlets, which is similar and mostly compatible with European Type C if you don’t require an Earth connection. If you need an Earth connection (ie, your device isn’t double insulated), then you must use Type L in Italy.
This unit does the job perfectly, offering 2 UK style 13A Type G outlets, 2 USB-A and 1 USB-C. We used it for a laptop charger, a travel hairdryer and the USB-A ports to charge all our party’s gizmos like phones, bluetooth speaker, headphones, power banks, vapes and so on. It did the job perfectly.
If you only need a single UK outlet, this could be considered a bit bulky and maybe expensive compared to single outlet adapters. If you need 2 outlets, this is definitely worth considering.
Functional and convinient overseas adapter, not a voltage converter though
This is a handy travel adapter with USB ports, aptly designed for power needs when on travel. The dual USB A ports and the USB C port provided ample charging options, which was particularly convenient for my varied devices. The adapter’s compatibility with Type M countries was a major plus. The 5-in-1 feature is outstanding. Having two UK outlets and three USB ports meant I never had to juggle between which device to charge first. This would be especially helpful in hotel rooms with limited power outlets. Despite its multi-functional capabilities, the adapter is surprisingly lightweight and compact. It easily fit into my carry-on bag and added no noticeable weight. The USB ports delivered optimal charging speeds.
While the product clearly states it’s not a voltage converter, it’s still a point worth reiterating. I would have to make sure all my devices were dual-voltage compatible. The plastic construction, while lightweight, felt slightly flimsy.
Overall, its ability to charge multiple devices simultaneously, along with its compatibility with numerous countries, makes it a handy travel companion. However, not having a voltage converter feature is a letdown as I won’t be able to use all my devices for charging.
A must for your holiday
Very light and well made. All of our mobiles , pads and watches could be charged at one go. Plus the insect repellent was plugged in constantly. Excellent socket, well worth giving it a try. Indispensable for us.
