1. Why do cables get hot?
Please do not worry, getting hot is normal when the cable transfers signals. The product will not be affected since it is made from heat-resisting material.
2. How to get 8K@60Hz?
First, Make sure both input and output devices support 8K@60Hz, or you can only get 4K@60Hz if one of your devices only 4K@60Hz. Second, Check whether your output devices have been adjusted to 8K@60Hz.
3. Is it bi-directional?
No, this product is USB C to HDMI unidirectional. This cable is a video cable, charging is not supported.
4. Why no audio?
Once you have your Mac and TV connected by HDMI, you will need to change the audio output on the Mac. To do so: First, Go to the Apple menu and choose System Preferences. Second, Click Sound. Third, choose Output. Forth, Select your TV from the list of devices shown.
5. Why can’t I connect ?
Please ensure that your device’s USB-C port supports the video output function ‘DP Alt Mode’.
