First, Make sure both input and output devices support 8K@60Hz, or you can only get 4K@60Hz if one of your devices only 4K@60Hz. Second, Check whether your output devices have been adjusted to 8K@60Hz.
3. Is it bi-directional?
No, this product is USB C to HDMI unidirectional. This cable is a video cable, charging is not supported.
4. Why no audio?
Once you have your Mac and TV connected by HDMI, you will need to change the audio output on the Mac. To do so: First, Go to the Apple menu and choose System Preferences. Second, Click Sound. Third, choose Output. Forth, Select your TV from the list of devices shown.
5. Why can’t I connect ?
Please ensure that your device’s USB-C port supports the video output function ‘DP Alt Mode’.
Moderner USB-C auf HDMI Adapte Das Adapterkabel von USB-C auf HDMI ist in einer schn gestalteten kleinen Pappschachtel verpackt. Eine Kurzanleitung im FAQ-Format ist enthalten. Kurioserweise wurden in der deutschen Version die Hlfte der FAQs weggelassen, also lieber gleich die englische Version lesen (siehe Fotos).
Das Kabel macht einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck. Die Stecker bestehen aus Metall uns das Kabel ist schn ummantelt. Auch ein praktischer Kabelbinder wird mitgeliefert. Die Gesamtlnge des Kabels mit Steckern ist 103 cm.
Ich habe nur einen HDMI 2.0 fhigen Bildschirm, daher konnte ich die HDMI 2.1 Fhigkeit nicht testen. Aber die bei HDMI 2.0 maximal mglichen 4K @ 60 Hz und HDR wurden vom Adapterkabel sofort untersttzt. Getestet habe ich das mit einem PC mit einer Geforce RTX 2070 Super und mit einem Notebook mit Intel 13th Gen Integrated Graphics (siehe Screenshots) — beides ohne Probleme. Wichtig ist nur, dass man am Bildschirm den Erweiterten HDMI-Modus” fr HDMI 2.x-Untersttzung aktiviert, sonst hngt man auf HDMI 1.4 fest — aber das ist eine seltsame Eigenart fast aller Bildschirme und hat mit diesem Adapter-Kabel nichts zu tun.
Auch mit einem Android-Handy (Samsung S20 FE) konnte ein 4K @ 60 Hz an den Bildschirm bertragen werden. Einfach das Kabel in die USB-C Buchse des Handys stecken und los geht’s. Bei Samsung kann man zustzlich whlen, ob man den Handy-Bildschirm nur klonen mchte, oder via Samsung DeX einen Windows-hnlichen 2. Bildschirm angezeigt bekommen mchte.
Die HDMI-Seite des Kabels, in der sich die Wandler-Elektronik befindet, wird im Betrieb ziemlich hei. Das ist wohl ein unvermeidbarer Nebeneffekt der rechenintensiven Signal-Umwandlung. Aber man kann es noch ohne Bedenken anfassen und der Stecker scheint dafr ausgelegt zu sein, was auch in der Produktbeschreibung erwhnt wird — daher fr mich in Ordnung.
Ich bin von der Funktionalitt des Kabels voll berzeugt und sehe in der vom Hersteller offen angekndigten Hitzeentwicklung des Steckers keinen Grund fr eine Abwertung -> 5 Sterne.

Das Kabel ist mit einem Gewebe umschlossen. Getestet habe ich es mit meinem iPhone 15 Pro am 4K Fernseher. Videos konnte ich ruckelfrei in 4K wiedergeben. Eigentlicher Einsatzzweck ist fr mich aber, wenn ich unterwegs prsentieren mchte. Dies kann ich nun bequem per iPhone oder iPad tun, die ich mit dem Kabel an Beamer oder Displays anschlieen kann. So kann das Notebook zu Hause bleiben und ich kann leichter reisen.

Ce n’est certes pas la meilleure configuration possible l’heure actuelle, mais a permet de faire communiquer facilement du matriel de 2 gnrations diffrentes sans adaptateur. L’cran est dtect ds le branchement et la qualit d’image est parfaite.
Le cble est trs bien fini, avec une gaine en nylon tresse et des connecteurs en alu qui paraissent bien robustes et bien scells au cble. Tout a dgage une impression de qualit et je suis au final ravi des services rendus par ce cble !

Robustest Kabel mit HDMI 2.1 Es handelt sich hierbei um ein gewobenes und robustes Kabel mit einer ordentlichen Steifigkeit und ist an den Enden jeweils mit Kunstoff und Metall am Ende verstrkt. An einem Ende haben wir USB-C und am anderen Ende HDMI. Das Kabel kommt mit HDMI 2.1 und damit mit dem aktuellsten Standard, sodass auch 8K 30 Hz, 4K 144 Hz etc. mglich ist. Auch Tunderbolt 4 und HDCP 2.3 wird untersttzt.
Nutzen kann man das Kabel mit allem, was eine Videobertragung via USB-C untersttzt, also Smartphone, Tablet, PC, Notebook etc. Gerade mit dem PC kann man die Leistung des Kabels voll ausnutzen, wenn der PC auch wirklich stark genug fr ist. Mit meinem PC schaffe ich 4K 144 Hz ohne Probleme. Mit meinem Macbook komme ich auf 4K 60, was aber an Apple selbst liegt.
Auch super ist das Kabel, wenn man unterwegs ist und im Hotel z.B. einen Fernseher hat, wo ihr keinenn zustzlichen Adapter fr die Bildbertragung von eurem Notebook, Tablet etc. braucht.

AMD Grafikkarten ohne FreeSync | Apple Geräte mit Apple-Einschränkunge Zwischen meinem Minisforum Venus UM480 XT Mini-PC mit AMD Ryzen 4800H Prozessor und meinem HP Omen 27k Gaming Monitor schafft der Adapter die vollen 4K 12 bpc bei 144 Hz, auch mit HDR, aber AMD FreeSync wird anscheinend nicht untersttzt.
Zwischen meinem Minisforum Venus UM480 XT Mini-PC und meinem 2019er LG NanoCell 49SM90007LA TV schafft der Adapter ebenfalls das Maximum, was der Fernseher untersttzt, nmlich 4K 12 bpc bei 120 Hz.
Zwischen meinem Mac mini mit M1 CPU und meinem HP Omen 27k Gaming Monitor kommt 4K nur mit maximal 60 Hz zu Stande, aber das scheint wohl an Apple zu liegen, weil die anderen beiden Gerte es mit dem Adapter schaffen und weil der Mac mini mit einem USB-C zu USB-C Kabel (also ohne HDMI Adapter) an genau diesem Monitor 4K mit 144 Hz schafft.
Zwischen meinem Apple iPad Air (4. Gen) und meinem LG OLED48C27LA kommt nur maximal FullHD mit 60 Hz zu Stande (YouTube 4K Video in Safari). Immerhin wird hier Dolby Vision untersttzt.
Zwischen meinem Samsung Galaxy S20 FE und meinem HP Omen 27k Gaming Monitor kommt 4K mit maximal 60 Hz zu Stande. Mehr schafft das Handy nicht.
Easy phone-to-TV connectio I often need to connect my phone to my TV to screen share for work or to show videos to family and friends. This cable makes the process seamless. The picture is crystal clear and there’s zero lag or delay. Setup is as simple as plugging it in, and it’s small enough to slip into my bag when I’m on the go.

There are 2 areas that that could of been better. One is the price and the other is the length of the cable. Would of been more practical with a much longer length of cable.
HDMI 2.1 - 4K 120hz working! Recently I’ve purchased a few HDMI 2.1 cables from a variety of brands – and some just do not perform up to the actual specifications. If you want 4k at 120hz screen refresh rate, you need a full spec HDMI 2.1 cable, can I can confirm that this cable works perfectly (see picture attached). I think it should be noted that you will need a compatible device (PS5, high spec laptop/PC etc), along with this cable and a compatible device (E.g. LG C series OLED),
The cable itself seems solid and I always prefer braided cables. It has enough flexibility without being prone to ends coming apart – and overall it seems high quality.
Works as advertised What can I say, it does what you need it to! I’ve used it to get my Steam Deck games showing on the telly and it works just fine.

Short, quality cable This is a relatively short USB-C to HDMI cable but the quality is good. It has a braided cable with nice rubberised, textured grips on each end to help you grip when unplugging it
I use this mostly to plug my phone (a galaxy Note 20) into my PC monitor (a 4k screen) or my TV. No problems with either. I don’t have any 8k devices to test it with but 4k works well.
Overall its nice. It could be longer. if you want to sit on your sofa and control your phone, it’s not long enough for that but if so, buy a longer cable!
Simple to set up and use I’m not going to lie – I’m not the most tech-savvy person on the planet. That being said, I needed to connect my laptop to the TV for a work presentation, and this little cable made it incredibly straightforward. I plugged it in, fiddled about for a minute mirroring my screen, and we were good to go. The resolution was amazing — the presentation looked fantastic! Good, solid cable Just a warning, if you’re wanting to use this with an android phone, not all phones support USB-C to HDMI screen mirroring. Found that out the hard way which defeated the purpose of the cable for me.
But I’ve tested it with my laptop anyway, and it works great. Picture quality has been fine, with no issues. The cable feels tough and durable with its coarse threading, and the plug housings are tough metal.
Professional looking product that works well at 4K 60Hz The Uni USB C to HDMI 2.1 cable is very well made, it is quite thick and has nylon braiding, the strain reliefs are quite short and there are metal shells around the connectors. The USB-C connector has nylon strips on the sides in order to make it easier to grip and there is a Velcro strap to help keep the cable tidy when stored.
I tested this cable with a laptop that was capable of outputting 4K@60Hz to a 4K TV, the picture and sound quality were excellent. I am very pleased with this product because it does what I need it to do and it is a convenient length for use while travelling.
I have only given it 4*s because there are cheaper products, although they only do 4K@60Hz and I am unable to verify the full capabilities of this product.
Good quality cable, but check carefully for compatibility! This HDMI cable appears to be of very good quality. Made from a nylon braided cable, it feels strong and sturdy.
I got it to attach my tablet to a TV, in order to watch downloaded programmes whilst on holiday. I plugged the USB-C end into my tablet, and the HDMI end into the port on my TV but was unable to get anything up on the screen.
On closer look at the listing, it appears my Lenovo tablet is not compatible with this lead. I passed it on to my brother to use with his MacBook and he said it worked perfectly.
Overall, this is a good quality cable that works very well with compatible devices just check the listing carefully for suitability with your device.
USB C to HDMI Worth noting this is a one way cable, you can’t output HDMI to a USB C screen or anything. Overall this is a high quality cable, great feel, premium feel, and it works well. I have it working at 4k60hz fine, and have no issues. The cable itself comes with a handy velcro wrap thing, which lets you keep it semi neat in storage. UNI are a reliable brand, and they keep that reputation up with this cable. Nice product.

Well made, effective cable - a little short and pricey? This braided cable is robust and well made and should have no difficulty in surviving permanently connected life or life on the road. Having to currently use a hub to connect my HDMI cable to a Mac USB C this is a fantastic cable that provides easy, direct connection.
At only 1m, it happens to be perfect for my desk, but I’d have preferred a little longer as a client sites or hotels, this may be a little troublesome to connect to their equipment. It’s is also an expensive option at 24. There are many better value options (and longer) within amazon, which is why I can’t give this 5*, but these don’t all have 8K support. So it probably comes down to how important 8K is to you and whether that makes the premium worthwhile.

Do I recommend it?
Yes, if you need 4K 144Hz or 8K 60Hz and PD. Also recommended if you want a future-proof adapter that you’ll be able to use in a few years’ time when 8K may be a bit more mainstream. Uni makes some good stuff – I’ve had a number of cables and adapters from them over the years and they’ve always been good.
Good quality video cable This cable comes coiled with a velcro strap to keep it tidy. It’s a reasonable length and build quality seems very good, the cord is nylon braided and there’s decent protection at the joins onto the connectors. The connectors have metal housing, with grips in the side of the USB-C connector.
The cable only works one way – USB-C to HDMI. This allows me to connect my phone or laptop to a screen or projector. So far it has been working perfectly. I am very happy with this cable.

I’ve had a few uni cables and all of them have been excellent. This one is no exception. The quality is top-tier. It features a nice light blue aluminium design with a braided cable. The cable is HDMI 2.1 so supports up to 4k@240Hz (With DSc). The only minor con I have for this cable is that it is a little short at around 1M in length. If your monitor and computer are on the opposite side of your desk this may cause you issues. For reference, there is a 6FT version of this cable for a few more though.
Overall, at 23.99, at the time of review, this cable is pricey and perhaps could be a bit longer but the quality and performance are top tier. I’d recommend this cable to anyone looking for a premium USB C to HDMI 2.1 cable.
Refresh rate works as advertised on extended monito Needed this to connect 2023 MacBook Air to high res external monitor. Last adaptor I bought could not connect the two and keep a normal refresh rate on the monitor. This one works exactly as advertised.

Zwischen meinem Mac mini mit M1 CPU und meinem HP Omen 27k Gaming Monitor kommt 4K nur mit maximal 60 Hz zu Stande, aber das scheint wohl an Apple zu liegen, weil die anderen beiden Gerte es mit dem Adapter schaffen und weil der Mac mini mit einem USB-C zu USB-C Kabel (also ohne HDMI Adapter) an genau diesem Monitor 4K mit 144 Hz schafft.
Zwischen meinem Apple iPad Air (4. Gen) und meinem LG OLED48C27LA kommt nur maximal FullHD mit 60 Hz zu Stande (YouTube 4K Video in Safari). Immerhin wird hier Dolby Vision untersttzt.
Zwischen meinem Samsung Galaxy S20 FE und meinem HP Omen 27k Gaming Monitor kommt 4K mit maximal 60 Hz zu Stande. Mehr schafft das Handy nicht.
Der Adapter wird im Betrieb warm aber nicht hei.
Easy phone-to-TV connectio
I often need to connect my phone to my TV to screen share for work or to show videos to family and friends. This cable makes the process seamless. The picture is crystal clear and there’s zero lag or delay. Setup is as simple as plugging it in, and it’s small enough to slip into my bag when I’m on the go.
Good quality cable, one area could be bette
This is a braided cable which I like over other cables. I got it to plug my phone to my TV to show pictures and videos or to watch movies.
The quality is really good.
There are 2 areas that that could of been better. One is the price and the other is the length of the cable. Would of been more practical with a much longer length of cable.
HDMI 2.1 - 4K 120hz working!
Recently I’ve purchased a few HDMI 2.1 cables from a variety of brands – and some just do not perform up to the actual specifications. If you want 4k at 120hz screen refresh rate, you need a full spec HDMI 2.1 cable, can I can confirm that this cable works perfectly (see picture attached). I think it should be noted that you will need a compatible device (PS5, high spec laptop/PC etc), along with this cable and a compatible device (E.g. LG C series OLED),
The cable itself seems solid and I always prefer braided cables. It has enough flexibility without being prone to ends coming apart – and overall it seems high quality.
Works as advertised
What can I say, it does what you need it to! I’ve used it to get my Steam Deck games showing on the telly and it works just fine.
The cable is pretty tough and I can’t imagine it breaking on you.
Is it worth 23? Eh…hard to say. With cables you generally get what you pay for and usually only time will tell on that. It certainly feels like a decent quality product.
Short, quality cable
This is a relatively short USB-C to HDMI cable but the quality is good. It has a braided cable with nice rubberised, textured grips on each end to help you grip when unplugging it
I use this mostly to plug my phone (a galaxy Note 20) into my PC monitor (a 4k screen) or my TV. No problems with either. I don’t have any 8k devices to test it with but 4k works well.
Overall its nice. It could be longer. if you want to sit on your sofa and control your phone, it’s not long enough for that but if so, buy a longer cable!
Simple to set up and use
I’m not going to lie – I’m not the most tech-savvy person on the planet. That being said, I needed to connect my laptop to the TV for a work presentation, and this little cable made it incredibly straightforward. I plugged it in, fiddled about for a minute mirroring my screen, and we were good to go. The resolution was amazing — the presentation looked fantastic! I’ll definitely be using this again for streaming movies with the family.
High refresh rate for smooth video
Connecting my phone to my TV for presentations or to share photos is something I do regularly. This cable gets the job done with incredibly crisp image quality. The high refresh rate is fantastic for watching videos, and I love how there’s no fiddling around — it’s just plug-and-play. The braided cable feels durable, too, which is a bonus.
Good, solid cable
Just a warning, if you’re wanting to use this with an android phone, not all phones support USB-C to HDMI screen mirroring. Found that out the hard way which defeated the purpose of the cable for me.
But I’ve tested it with my laptop anyway, and it works great. Picture quality has been fine, with no issues. The cable feels tough and durable with its coarse threading, and the plug housings are tough metal.
Professional looking product that works well at 4K 60Hz
The Uni USB C to HDMI 2.1 cable is very well made, it is quite thick and has nylon braiding, the strain reliefs are quite short and there are metal shells around the connectors. The USB-C connector has nylon strips on the sides in order to make it easier to grip and there is a Velcro strap to help keep the cable tidy when stored.
I tested this cable with a laptop that was capable of outputting 4K@60Hz to a 4K TV, the picture and sound quality were excellent. I am very pleased with this product because it does what I need it to do and it is a convenient length for use while travelling.
I have only given it 4*s because there are cheaper products, although they only do 4K@60Hz and I am unable to verify the full capabilities of this product.

This HDMI cable appears to be of very good quality. Made from a nylon braided cable, it feels strong and sturdy.
I got it to attach my tablet to a TV, in order to watch downloaded programmes whilst on holiday. I plugged the USB-C end into my tablet, and the HDMI end into the port on my TV but was unable to get anything up on the screen.
On closer look at the listing, it appears my Lenovo tablet is not compatible with this lead. I passed it on to my brother to use with his MacBook and he said it worked perfectly.
Overall, this is a good quality cable that works very well with compatible devices just check the listing carefully for suitability with your device.
USB C to HDMI
Worth noting this is a one way cable, you can’t output HDMI to a USB C screen or anything. Overall this is a high quality cable, great feel, premium feel, and it works well. I have it working at 4k60hz fine, and have no issues. The cable itself comes with a handy velcro wrap thing, which lets you keep it semi neat in storage. UNI are a reliable brand, and they keep that reputation up with this cable. Nice product.

Does what it says on the tin, although in this case it’s a box! Works perfectly and the build quality seems nice. I wish the cable was even longer but that’s just me, it is fine. All in all, I am happy with this!
Well made, effective cable - a little short and pricey?
This braided cable is robust and well made and should have no difficulty in surviving permanently connected life or life on the road. Having to currently use a hub to connect my HDMI cable to a Mac USB C this is a fantastic cable that provides easy, direct connection.
At only 1m, it happens to be perfect for my desk, but I’d have preferred a little longer as a client sites or hotels, this may be a little troublesome to connect to their equipment. It’s is also an expensive option at 24. There are many better value options (and longer) within amazon, which is why I can’t give this 5*, but these don’t all have 8K support. So it probably comes down to how important 8K is to you and whether that makes the premium worthwhile.

Do I recommend it?
Yes, if you need 4K 144Hz or 8K 60Hz and PD. Also recommended if you want a future-proof adapter that you’ll be able to use in a few years’ time when 8K may be a bit more mainstream. Uni makes some good stuff – I’ve had a number of cables and adapters from them over the years and they’ve always been good.
Great HDMI Cable
The cable is good quality. It’s nicely braided and seems durable.
I don’t have any means of testing it at 8K, but it works just fine at 4K, 60 Hz and I’ve not experienced any drop outs.
Comes with a velcro cable tidy, which is a nice addition. It was packaged in a resealable, plastic pouch, which can be used for storage.
Good quality video cable
This cable comes coiled with a velcro strap to keep it tidy. It’s a reasonable length and build quality seems very good, the cord is nylon braided and there’s decent protection at the joins onto the connectors. The connectors have metal housing, with grips in the side of the USB-C connector.
The cable only works one way – USB-C to HDMI. This allows me to connect my phone or laptop to a screen or projector. So far it has been working perfectly. I am very happy with this cable.

I’ve had a few uni cables and all of them have been excellent. This one is no exception. The quality is top-tier. It features a nice light blue aluminium design with a braided cable. The cable is HDMI 2.1 so supports up to 4k@240Hz (With DSc). The only minor con I have for this cable is that it is a little short at around 1M in length. If your monitor and computer are on the opposite side of your desk this may cause you issues. For reference, there is a 6FT version of this cable for a few more though.
Overall, at 23.99, at the time of review, this cable is pricey and perhaps could be a bit longer but the quality and performance are top tier. I’d recommend this cable to anyone looking for a premium USB C to HDMI 2.1 cable.
Refresh rate works as advertised on extended monito
Needed this to connect 2023 MacBook Air to high res external monitor. Last adaptor I bought could not connect the two and keep a normal refresh rate on the monitor. This one works exactly as advertised.
