    Full featured bargain USB hub.
A nicely presented and well manufactured USB hub suitable for expanding connectivity on laptops, smartphones and other media devices.

With todays minimalist laptops offering a minimal of useable ports, this USB 3.0 hub is a very handy accessory to have.

Connecting via its built in USB C cable (with USB A adaptor) the unit offers a duplicated USB C output, two USB A 2.0 outputs, two USB A 3.0 outputs as well as both SD and TF card reading slots.

Easily kept in your laptop case this will add to the versatility of your computer and ensure that you’re never stuck for an output port or a card reader.

Great value for so many connection options!

    Impressive and versatile Multi-port adapter.
I must admit, I was never a fan of multiport adapters years ago; however, this one has completely changed my opinion on their usefulness.

This adapter features a modern design and can connect to both USB-C and regular USB ports, making it highly versatile.
I like its range of port offerings, including USB 3.0, USB 2.0, USB-C, and card reader ports for both SD and micro SD cards.
One minor point to note is that the card readers cannot be used simultaneously, but this is a small inconvenience given the overall functionality.

The build quality seems solid, and the variety of ports is excellent.
I’ve had no trouble connecting it to my PC, and my partner has found it very useful for extending the limited number of ports on her laptop.
Overall, this 8 in 1 USB-C MultiPort Adapter is an impressive and versatile device that I would recommend.

I'm really lucky because I got an 8 in 2 adapter - gotta be twice as good than an 8 in 1 surely ??
or is it only half as good – I’m confused !!!

No – I have no idea what an 8 in 2 adaptor is either …….

However, having decried the packaging graphics let me be clear – if you need a portable multi-port adaptor then you can’t go wrong with this at the price.

Upfront the connection cable is, as described in other reviews, of a somewhat limited length – cable length is c. 13cm so by the time you bend connections in to place etc. it limits placement options. Using it with a laptop or tablet however I didn’t find that to be a major issue but I can see that if you want to use with an AIO desktop, to avoid all those awkwardly placed built in connections, then this could be an issue for you.

Otherwise would echo all the comments –

    3x USB 2 Connections
    2 x USB C
    1 x USB 3
    2 x memory card slot

All seem to work well (within expected parameters) and this is a nice little premium feeling piece of kit that will sit in my lap top bag ready for action when needed.

At the price I don’t think you can go wrong….

    Good Quality Hub
This hub has a nice quality feel to it. I use this mainly with my Surface Studio 2 laptop. It has very similar transfer speeds to my existing hub. It is simply to use – simply plug and play. Great compact device.

    Premium USB Hub
This is a premium feeling USB hub that comes with a USB C connector and an adapter for use with USB 3.0 ports. The body of the device is made from lightweight aluminium which gives it a premium appearance and feel.

It features 2 USB C ports, 1 USB 3.0 port, 3 USB 2.0 ports, plus TF and SD card readers.

I have tested it with a variety of devices including external Hard drives, Cameras, TF and SD cards and a number of USB thumb drives, all worked flawlessly.

I do have a couple of gripes though firstly and most importantly is the ridiculously short and inflexible cable that comes attached, this really hampers use in some cases especially when being used with a desktop PC.

Secondly which is more of a nitpick is that both the USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports are blue which normally indicates a USB 3.0 port, this could lead to a little bit of confusion but all port types are clearly marked on the case so not so much of a big deal really.

Overall this is a good premium feeling USB hub at a cheap price that would have gotten 5 stars with a few minor improvements.

Useful if you are short a port or two
Some modern laptops come with very few ports. This device will expand the number so that you can plug in all your peripherals. In addition it will take SD & TF memory cards.
There are 4 USB-A sockets, 3 marked USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0, As one website says “USB 3.0 Connectors are different from USB 2.0 Connectors and the 3.0 connectors are usually colored blue on the inside in order to distinguish them from the 2.0 connectors.” However all 4 on this device are blue.
There are also 2 USB-C sockets. A plus point is that the cable has an attached adaptor so that you can plug it into either a USB-A or USB-C socket.
The strain reliefs ar either end of the cable aren’t that good, they allow the cable to bend sharply.

    Remarkably lightweight and compact!
It’s been a few years since I last bought a USB hub, and the one I use most has started to die on me (one socket stopped working completely, another intermittenly not seeing devices) so I thought it was time to update!

I was amazed at how small this new one is, and it weighs practically nothing. I use it with a desktop not a laptop device, but if you needed portability, this thing is tiny, will slot into a laptop bag no problem at all.

The main connector to the PC is usefully a USB-C with a USB-A adapter connected to it – USB-A is my main connection on my ageing desktop, so it’s handy to have that link out of the box. That said, it would have been handy to have a longer cable, as this one is probably only about 6-7 inches – fine so long as the items I’m connecting have quite long cables themselves, but in some cases (printer, for instance) it’s now a bit of a stretch. My old USB hub had a cable that was probably two feet between the PC and the hub – again, for a laptop probably not a huge deal, but for a desktop that ability to spread things out is important.

The hub itself has three USB 2 USB-A connections and one USB3 USB-A (i.e. faster throughput), and two USB-Cs. This works for me as again most of the devices I’m connecting are still using old USB 2 USB-A (printer, webcam, scanner) so I specifically wanted a hub with a good few older/slower slots!

It also includes SC card/TF card reader slots, which I’ve not tried but if you need them, good to have.

So far I’ve been pleased with this – all the connections are working fine, speeds seem to be no different to my older hub (again, I’m not using USB-3 devices so hard to compare there).

Overall, it is an upgrade on the device it replaces, for sure. The only little gripe is that I’d have liked a longer cable to the PC.

Excellent, compact, multi-port Adapter with dual USB-C and USB-A 3.0 interface
Having several devices now which require USB-C connectivity, I was delighted to be able to test this multi-port Vonxite Adapter with its dual USB-C / USB-A interface. For laptops and desktops, I have accumulated various USB-A connector blocks in recent years, which the widespread introduction of USB-C ports have largely made obsolete. This multi-connector, multi-port, little adapter block is the ideal answer, being able to replace ‘old’ style adapter blocks and offering a wide and useful range of ports in a very compact format.
The adapter block measures just under 15cm long, 28mm width and 10mm high – and comes with a 14cm long connector cable ending in the USB-A / C plug. The casing of the adapter is finished in an attractive matt grey and I liked the fact that the cable is flexible enough for it to sit flat alongside both laptops or desktops.
Lacking a professional test program, I was only able to do a back-to-back transfer test of a large file between my existing USB 2.0 block and this USB-C adapter… Of course, the USB-C connection won hands down, transferring data through any of its ports to other devices at a remarkable speed. As well as its multi-port interface, this neat little adapter block fits in one USB 3.0 port, three USB 2.0 ports, two USB-C ports, plus an ever-useful SD card slot.
I really like this Vonxite 8-in-1 Adapter… it offers excellent multi-way, multi-port connectivity in a neat and stylish package and performs perfectly. It has enabled me to ditch the old USB connector blocks from my desktop – and is compact enough to slip into my laptop bag. This is currently available at a very attractive price-point in the USB-C adapter market – and if you are looking for a new multi-port adapter, I can give this little block my full recommendation.
