Had this unit for approximately 2 months. Was ok to start off with. Now has developed an intermittent fault, where at time call out. However, still receives call but time to time just can not make outbound calls. Probably a one off faulty unit. Will contact Amazon for refund and see what happens.
Had a 4-phone BT DECT system at my house and after switching to digital VOIP found that BT make it impossible for my BT DECT system to work with my Cisco VOIP (no dial tone detected) unless it’s connected to a BT Hub, as their system is proprietry exclusive to BT.
Bought this basic VTECH to test the concept as it was cheap. Yes, it works with a third party ADA VOIP interface. Likely to buy their 3-phone system as a result.
Plug in the power, put the batteries in the hanndset, connect the phone connector to the ADA and away you go. Setup wasn’t difficult, but spent a few minutes understanding the menu tree. So far no issues.
Would recommend for VOIP users.
