Lovely pregnancy pillow
Ideal for those who, like me, have probably been surrounding yourselves with pillows putting off the inevitable purchase of a pregnancy pillow! I have had pelvic girdle pain since the second trimester and this has helped me to sleep in a more comfortable position to ease this. Taking advice from my physio I still need to use an extra pillow to prop up my top leg but that’s all. The back support is lovely now I’m in the third trimester and the pillow provides a good bit of bump support, making sleeping so much more comfortable! I don’t use an extra pillow at my head as this is perfect on its own. The cover washes well and air dries really quickly so you can get it back on the pillow on the same day. Highly recommend.
Positive/negative
I like the material over the actual pillow as the velvet was nice and soft, however the actual stuffing inside the pillow went very soft and I’ve had to buy my own pillow stuffing to put inside as gone soft and reduced so it can look full again and be more comfortable for me to be able to hold it whilst sleeping on it. The support is lovely and the size is very big takes over one side of our super king bed.
I flipping love this thing!
I’ve had this a month now and I wouldn’t sleep without it now, it’s super adjustable to exactly where you want, whether it’s sitting upright or laying down, I stroke the super soft velvet with my fingers and toes like an idiot and I don’t care you can all laugh as much as you want.
Great pregnancy pillow!
This is exactly what I was looking for. Pillow arrives packed in a vacuum sealed bag, which is pretty convenient. Once out of the bag, it takes just a few hours to get into shape. Pillow is very soft and comfortable, yet it offers great support.
Can't sleep without it now!
I bought this pillow after having a hysterectomy to provide support and comfort whilst recovering. I’m now 8 weeks post op and I wouldn’t be able to sleep without it. I no longer toss and turn and am definitely sleeping more soundly.
The cover washes well at 30 degrees (I did it once at 40 degrees and it didn’t shrink) and it dries very quickly on the line or a radiator for an hour or two.
Can’t recommend this highly enough!
Comfo
I am currently in my third trimester of pregnancy and wish I had bought it sooner. Being plus size and pregnant, I still find it still hugs and supports you in the right spot. It is super soft and comfortable. Not needed to wash it yet but looks easy enough to remove the cover. I left it 24 hours to properly deflate before using it but it seemed to grt its shaoe quite quicjly after opening it from the vacum pack. The inner padding is also a zip so easy to add additional padding to it if you wanted a firmer feel. I would say this is a soft/medium feel and the picture made it look firmer but still comfortable. I can see this being handy for breast/ bottle feeding when baby arrives too.
Although this is a good size, being plus size and taller I would like it slightly longer as it would feel more supporting on my back when side sleeping but still a good buy!
I have struggled with perimenopausal insomnia for a couple of years and just could not get comfortable. This pillow has been the single best purchase I’ve made in years. It makes sleeping a dream (pun intended) and I’m comfortable all night. Also, the cover comes off easily for washing, washes well and has the added advantage that putting that sucker back on is a bit of a workout, but manageable. My previous pillows have been consigned to the side-lines and I would recommend any side sleepers to give this a try – it’s not just for the pregnant!
Like a hug
So I’m not pregnant.. never was pregnant, but when I mentioned to my friend that I felt stressed out, she responded “you need a pregnancy pillow”, she ordered it for me the next day and maaaaan I slept like a baby. It feels as if I am being hugged. I sleep wrapped in it every night and feel much more relaxed. I got it for my other friend as well, also not pregnant. So if you feel lonely, stressed out, need that extra cosines when sleeping then it is a great thing to have. It takes a lot of space though.
Really good product. Very comfy and can be moved into a variety of positions for sleeping, laying down, sitting up and protecting a pregnant belly. Would also be great for when a baby has been born as well. Only took a star off because the padding is less than what it appears on the picture (see video) so it’s a lot softer than it looks. Still very comfy though. Would recommend.
Not pregnant, got this for side sleeping. So, so good! Keeps my knees from touching, gives me something to put my arms around whilst resting my head. Also useful for resting against whilst sitting up.
Not relevant to functionality but it makes me feel little and safe the way it encloses you.
Barely any filling in the pillow it just sinks and doesn’t keep its shape! Im so gutted i wasted my money on this i was so excited as pregnant and uncomfortable and this pillow really isn’t the same as the picture, barely any filling in the pillow whatsoever.
DESPITE this, this how now become my autistic soms favourite pillow! And he has stolen it from me and he never settles or sleeps! So must change my review as will have to order more and if he likes it then thats a godsent for me!
Very comfortable
This product was delivered late however that is not the brands fault, I did expect the pillow to be bigger however it is very comfortable, the packaging was discreet and present to open.
Not as thick as advertised but it’s still plump, it comes vacuum sealed so have to wait a little while for it to unfold, it has helped get comfortable at night however I did have a long straight one before this it wasn’t as plump however but did just as good of a job and was less then the 3rd of the price of this one. Based on the cost I’m not sure I would highly recommend unless you have the money spare however if your not bothered about spending the extra its a decent body pillow i suffer with arthritis and fibromyalgia so find sleeping difficult anyway so i will still be able to use this after pregnancy, i also think it will double up well as an arm support when i am due to breast feed if lying in bed instead of buying another support pillow just for that, it is a little heavy depending on what side i want to sleep on i have to flip the pillow around so the longest part is facing the front of me that’s a bit of an effort when having to do it 100x in the night but I do like the design, it’s soft and the cover has a zip and is removable to easily put in the wash.
So at the beginning I wasn’t sure to buy it as i saw many bad reviews, but then i said fine i’m going to take it in case i will return it.
Im 12 weeks pregnant now and my bump is showing up slowly and i needed something comfy to sleep asap.
The pillow is comfortable I can’t complain and it’s quite bigger im 1.58cm so depending also how tall are you and what position you prefer to sleep, it’s really soft the only thing in summer it will make you sweat for sure due to the material the first night i was sweating a bit.
On the 1st picture was just opened and it looks a bit smaller like if a bit of filler was missing but as you can see on the 2nd pic after 2/3 days it tooks a normal shape. Also I think it would be perfect for nurse of breast feeding if you are in bed because it’s really comfortable specially for that.
The only disappointing thing is the value which is a bit too expensive to my point of view for a cotton pillow but at the end i can’t complain because i can finally sleep normally now!!
