The instructions made little sense (admittedly I am a total idiot when it comes to tech) however, who ever did the translation had only a tenuous grasp of English (again I may be a sinner throwing a stone here). However, after many attempts (after first consulting YouTube), after many attempts, using a phone and then a lap top – with one last desperate roll of the dice, I tried my ancient iPad. It worked exactly as stated in the instructions (I think) and activated, liked up to all my devices as has worked perfectly ever since.
It would have been 5 stars except for the 3 hours of pain attempting to make it work in the first place and the impenetrable instructions.
