Large selections of ports for testing IT equipme
I have used this to test various ASUS, Dells, HP & Lenovo 19.5V IT equipment before buying a dedicated charger for the working ones. I would like to point out this is !!19.5V ONLY!! and 90W isn’t enough power for all 19.5V IT equipment out there. I think this is inappropriate for most end users, who would be better served by a dedicated charger for their specific system.

I gave it five stars as it’s great value for the price (14 at time of purchase, Mar 2024). It can be further improved by having a voltage range (preferably 12 to 24V) selection, but at this price-point, I cannot complain.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersVery adaptable adapte
I picked this adapter as here are several different laptopsand devices in my house each requiring different chargers and connectors. This allowed me to have one that would be usable for a large majority of them. It comes with 16 different plugs which is by no means an exhaustive selection but it does cover many brands and models. Having now tried it on several diferent devices I must say it works very well and shows no sign of excessive warming. There is a small user manual included but this really only covers common sense things, the Amazon listing does have a comprehensive list of which adapter fits what and that would have been useful had it been included with the adapter. Still there was a period of amusement as I played mix n’ match to find what fitted what. I have now labeeled the ones i use frequently so I can find them easily.
All the connectors I used fit snugly and give confidence in their fitment. The charge cable and the power cable all have flex fittings at stress points which leads me to believe it will last through the many pluggings and unpluggings it will go through.
Overall good value and very flexible – it came in really handy yesterday when a visitor’s laptop went low charge and he didn’t have his charger – found the right adapter and charged his laptop.
Reminder – check the listing to see if your laptop is listed, whilst it says Uuniversal not all Asus are covered (mainy due to power requirements).

    Lots of possibilities
Chargers often go AWOL and that can render the device you need, totally useless. This then is to get you back up and running no worries. Power Ahoy! It aims to be the Swiss Army Knife of power adapters with many different options to select. It’s not hard to switch them out. Four stars because the plug I needed for my Lenovo laptop is not a part of the set!

    Multi adapter ki
Useful multi kit that comes with an array of laptop adapters to fit practically most laptops. You can’t go wrong with this especially of you have a household of different brands of laptops like I have. Also handy to keep in a shared space eg work for others to use. Easily interchangeable heads

    Very handy indeed!
We have multiple laptops in the house, so this was chosen as an emergency backup should one of our power packs break down. It is also handy to have this downstairs, as my daughter is always bringing her laptop down here to play on and then having to run back upstairs as her battery gets low.

There are many attachments with this, so this makes it so versatile! I can’t say I have noticed a difference in charge times for my laptop at all. The lead is a decent length too, for where I sit with my laptop.

All in all, I am very happy with this rather handy pack to have around! xXx

Audible whine and a little heat generated when in use, but good for a backup.
These universal power supplies aren’t really often meant to be used as a long term solution. I dedicated power supply with a fixed adapter is likely better. What these are good for is as a backup or for use when travelling. They cut down on the amount of weight you need to cart around if you travel with various laptops.

In use this is fine for the stated voltages and wattage it seems. I had no issue trying it with four different branded laptops. The power brick did whine a little and get a little warm when pulling a decent current. That’s nothing alarming and a lot of power adapters do that, especially aftermarket ones, but you’re less likely to experience the same with an OEM version.

The build isn’t too bad but nothing premium about it. There’s a good array of adapter heads too.

I’d suggest this is more of a backup or travel device. I suppose it could be used longer term … but would OEM chargers seem to handle things better these days.

Includes plugs for just about any laptop except USB C
I have an old Dell laptop which I wanted to set up as a spare for my partners grandkids to play on when they visit, but the power supply died some time ago. This universal adaptor seemed like a good solution with the added benefit that I should be able to use it with other laptops in the future should the need arise.
I tested the power supply with the laptop and it works fine – It seems to charge as fast as the original. It’s quite small and light so easy to carry around.
The charger plugs push into a socket on the end of the cable and seem fairly robust although that isn’t something I’m likely to need to do very often.
There are plugs for just about any laptop except USB C which is becoming more common – A major omission in my opinion which led me to knock one star off my rating.

    Very versatile decent quality unit.
At the moment I have three laptops on the go. My main trustworthy HP Eny17 that I use in my TV room, a Samsung 15″ that I play music from in my exercise room and a HP Compaq 17 that is used in the kitchen and is home to a lot of recipe files. This universal laptop charger was a chance to get a bit of insurance in case any of the power packs failed, which has happened to me in the past and is quite inconvenient. You don’t realise how much you use your machines until they go down. All three of my laptops have different fittings and I was interested to see just how “Universal” this universal charger was. I did think that 16 tips gave me a good chance of covering all of my present needs.

A nice thing about this unit was that all connections are good and firm, with little chance of things coming adrift. The correct connectors took a little bit of finding due to the many options available but once found there was little ambiguity, the correct fitting being a snug fit. The charger worked with all three of my laptops although the Envy should really be fed with a 120W charger and the listing does say that the charger is not compatible with devices over 90W. To test it I took my battery out of the Envy, plugged this charger in, and the laptop worked perfectly. For me, in practice, using the lower wattage wouldn’t have much impact as I have my laptop plugged in all the time but for anyone using the battery then recharging will take longer.

This is a handy piece of kit to have , especially if, like me, you have computers with different fittings. If, for any reason , any of my power packs decides to pack up I have got a ready replacement that is OK to use with any of my devices.

Value wise I think that 16.99 is a good deal for a charger that has this amount of versatility and that affords the peace of mind that you can be quickly up and running again in case of power pack failure.
