Buy this, your butt will thank you!
I’m honestly not sure why I didn’t buy this earlier.

I’ve been working from home for the last couple of years and while I have an awesome chair it’s kind of lacking on the padding side of things.

I did some digging around and this product kept coming up with decent reviews – so I thought I would take the plunge.

It came in a surprisingly compact box, has a cool grippy texture on the underside and the memory foam cushion is so comfortable and cool – as in, it actually has a cooling effect.

The strange cutout is a brilliant piece of design, offering comfort and support.

Speaking of design, the shape of the cushion holds you in position.

I spend at least eight hours a day at my desk and no longer feel any pain in my lower back at the end of a long day.

This is the best seat yet! The curve at the back allows you to sit at the perfect angle for driving when you have lower back damage. Great for softening the blow on pot holes too!

    Comfy and supportive
I bought this after reading reviews for my home office work chair as I have been suffering from back pain. It fits in my chair well and stays put and gives good support. My only issue is that it could have been a little firme

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe best coccyx cushion I’ve bought!
I have a long term coccyx condition and have bought a few cushions this is by far the best! No pain when seated and the back and side supports really help with maintaining posture.

The cushion is amazing! I struggle with tailbone pain from sitting even for short periods of time, especially when driving. I got a new vehicle and my old cushion just wasn’t working. It put too much pressure on my thighs and made it difficult to reach the pedals. The cutout for the tailbone just wasn’t the right size or shape and I still felt uncomfortable after driving even for short periods of time. After trying a few other cushions I came upon this one. It’s just perfect! The cut out in the back is longer than any other cushion I’ve tried. This prevents the pressure I typically feel on my tailbone with other cushions. And it curves/slopes downward in the front, similar to a wedge type cushion, but not as drastically. This makes it so much more comfortable on my thighs and legs and allows me to reach the pedals comfortably. It is soft, yet supportive all over. It is wide enough to cover my car seat and my rear. I’m so glad I found this thing!
But the price is too expensive

First check the dimensions of the chair(s) on which you will use this
Before buying this, do check its 48cm (19″) width and 42cm (16.5″) depth — especially the depth — against the dimensions of the chair or chairs on which you will mainly use it. It is a good size for a basic computer operator’s chair, but not big enough for bigger chairs, and too big for some others. To my surprise, a kitchen chair I have that I think of as quite large does not have enough depth to support the front edge of the cushion.

Providing the chair seat beneath the cushion is of a suitable size, the cushion is comfortable in use, and it provides 3cm (1.5″) of potentially useful lift if you are, say, using a laptop computer on a table or work surface and the chair on which you sit does not itself have any upward adjustment.

Beyond comfort, the potential to support the behind-knee area, and to lift you to a better height for keyboard work, I wouldn’t go too far on its supposed orthopaedic benefits. It may ‘encourage’ a good posture, but it doesn’t in itself provide any lumbar support, so the benefits fall far short of a fully-adjustable chair.

The basic cushion has a zip-on cover that is washable — a 30C machine wash is recommended. That alone is a big plus in my view.

Makes sitting for long periods more comfortable
I got this memory foam cushion for my brother who has been experiencing back issues.

Although we were skeptical that this memory foam cushion will ‘solve’ these issues, it does make his office chair more comfortable to sit in and he thinks that it relieves pressure to the areas of his body that it covers. He says that he really likes the shape and design of the cushion.

There’s no set up — place the cushion on the seat of a chair and then sit on the chair. The cover to the cushion is removeable and washable. We are pleased with this product and my brother says he is happy to recommend at the current price point at the time of this Amazon Vine review (24.50).

We ordered the Ajiteogy memory foam cushion to improve the comfort of the chair for my wife’s home office set-up.
The memory foam is enclosed in a breathable cover with a non-slip base, which can be removed for washing. The cushion is certainly very comfortable, promoting good posture and reducing lower back ache.
One slight drawback is that due to the generous thickness of the cushion, the headrest of our office chair is now adjusted to it’s maximum height despite our relatively small stature; for talker folk with the same type of office chair, this might be an issue

    Comfortable well moulded
I am office based and spend most of my time sitting down, so by the end of the day my backside often feels numb and can give me pain. I do have a square 2″ thick cushion that I sit on but was pleased to have the opportunity to try this specialised cushion.

The cushion itself is well made and appears premium, it fitted my office chair well and today I have been using it whilst working.

    My experience is as follows:

    * Its comfortable, the moulding fitting the contours of my backside well. Spreading the pressure from my upper body weight.

    * Although at the end of my day I still had a little numbness I do believe that it was an improvement on my usual cushion, and I had no pain.

    * Its fine this time of the year (winter) but I do wonder if come the Summer it might get a little hot as the way the memory foam compresses and moulds does mean that it almost encapsules your backside. Although it does say its breathable and there is a cut out back section.

    * When moving I found the cushion remained in place, the non-slip base fabric probably helped with this. There was no need and no option to strap it to the chair.

    * The washable cushion cover was easy to remove and put back on, but there are no washing instructions and I can’t see any instructions on the Amazon description either. So, I presume hand wash and hang dry, due to the different materials that it’s made of.

All in all, using the cushion today has been a great success. I will see how I get on with it going forward and will update this review if my experience changes.

Having continued to use this cushion for the past nine working days, sitting on it for approximately 8 hours a day, I have to say that it has really improved my comfort, no more pain from sitting for long times. I definitely recommend.

Ergonomic Seat Cushion - firm but comfortable
This Ajiteogy Coccyx Seat Cushion is made out of thick memory foam and is firm to sit on. I have arthritis and hip replacements and this cushion has made a real difference to me both whilst sitting and a help to get back on my feet from a sitting position. The cushion is ergonomically shaped to fit around your bottom and assist with coccyx pain. Whilst this does work for me to an extent, I think if you have a larger bottom (which I have) then perhaps it does not work quite as well as average sized bottoms but it is still a benefit and does make a difference to my comfort and mobility. I am using it on my desk chair in my home office and as the cushion is thick, it has needed my chair to go down to the lower height setting to keep my feet on the floor. I have also tried it in the car and I felt like I was sitting on a booster seat although I can see on long journeys it would add to comfort and worth the booster seat feeling. This is not a seat cushion to slouch on, it is great at helping to maintain your posture therefore in my case alleviating pain which gathers momentum if I am sitting on a soft or unsupported seat. The cushion cover zips off for washing. The underneath of the cushion is a grey fabric with dots all over it to stop the cushion from slipping, these work well. I am really pleased with this cushion and would recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersMitigating circumstances
So I have to say that personally I am not all that impressed with this item.

However I do believe there are some mitigating circumstances in it’s favour, which explain why I have given 4* instead of lower. Firstly, I believe this cushion to be best suited to hard-bottomed chairs, for example a dining room chair. To be fair, the listing points out that it is for use with office chairs, car seats and wheelchairs.

Now, I do not have any such chairs available to test the product on. All I have is my sofa and an armchair. I did however put the cushion down onto my hard floor and sit on it with my back up against the wall. I cannot say I noticed much of a difference however this leads me to the second (possible) mitigating factor – weight. Hate to say it but I’m a little on the chunkier side and when I sat on this I basically pancaked it! I have double-checked and at the time of writing there is no mention of weight limits or recommended weight for the cushion.

I try to be fair in my reviews and I feel this item could be of use to some people if (a) they use it on hard-seated chairs such as office chairs or dining room chairs, and (b) they weigh an average/healthy weight as the bigger you are I believe the less likely you are to see any benefits from the cushion. Just because it was not great for me does not mean it couldn’t/wouldn’t be good for you under different circumstances.
