excellent se
This is an excellent budget keyboard and mouse set. My other keyboards are all the ones with the bigger keys, however this one has the low profile laptop style, which I very much like, they are very responsive when typing and do not feel loose or plasticy – unlike other, more expensive, keyboards I own. I got these as backups and ones I could leave on the kitchen table when working there on my laptop which has a keyboard I’ve never got on with. The keyboard is quite low profile but not light and flimsy, it has a decent amount of mass so doesnt move about on the table top too easily. The mouse has a little bit of weight to it but personally I prefer them a little heavier, its got the usual buttons/scroll wheel arrangement plus a smaller button to vary the dpi, but I didnt bother with that as it worked very satisfactorily straight away.
This is a really well put together set, there are caps and number lock LEDs on the keyboard, the click of the mouse isnt plasticy at all and there is a magnetic slot for the dongle on both the keyboard and the mouse (only one dongle is supplied). All in this is a very useable keyboard that is far from ‘basic’.
Easy setup
Plugging in the USB receiver was a breeze, and the wireless connection is stable even at a distance. The built-in rechargeable battery is a fantastic feature, eliminating the constant need to replace batteries. Typing is smooth and quiet, thanks to the low-profile keys and sturdy construction. This device has significantly improved my workspace efficiency and comfort.
Surprisingly good keyboard
I have used this for over two weeks now and can say that it really is surprisingly good quality for the cost.
The keyboard is responsive and doesn’t noticeably suffer from ghosting, however I haven’t used it too much in games, so it might not be that great, but gaming is not this keyboards forte.
The button press action is fairly nice and you can feel that the key has registered, which at this end of the market isn’t guaranteed or even expected. The quality of the build is fine, not perfect though as there is some flex in the base which is expected again at this level. It does look fairly stylish and is pretty comfortable to use for extended sessions, so the ergonomics are fine. The mouse is also fine, but less so than the keyboard. It does suffer from what all non gaming lower dpi mice suffer from and that is intermittent lag in games. Whilst again this is not a gaming mouse, I used an fps game just to test and it’s not ideal. That’s not to say you can’t use this at a pinch, but please dont buy this expecting it to be a gaming powerhouse, it’s not and isn’t designed to be.
For a home pc, it is just fine though. Well made with a nice clean design.
I would certainly recommend it for anyone that wants a reliable keyboard and mouse at a decent price.
4 stars for being great but not perfect.
Good set that looks sturdy
This is a very good quality rechargeable wireless keyboard and mouse set.
The keyboard fairly good in size and it is easy to write on it.
The keyboard is made from stainless steel and you can feel that it is heavy and stays on one place.
Both the keyboard and the mouse have a slim design and both are comfortable to use.
The set comes with a USB Type-A to USB Type-C cable and you can charge both the mouse and the keyboard with it.
The current price of this set is 28.25 , which is okay for a set that doesn’t need AA batteries like some others do.
Hopefully my review was Helpful for you.
Exactly what I needed and more
I got this at around 28, and at that price point you can’t go wrong with this, it’s very responsive, my only grip is the mouse is a little to low profile for my monkey hands but that’s a minor complaint really. One thing that this got right over apple is the charging on the mouse, port on the front and not underneath. Bonus points there amozon! Currently the price has gone up 10 from my purchase a few days ago so while it’s still not bad you could potentially find something better at 40.
But overall I’m extremely happy plus I’m only used it for raspberry pi to monitor solar panels and a hot water exchanger.
Handy responsive pai
Nice looking set and matching colours.
Responsive and nice springy keys, smooth and quiet.
Good grip keyboard base, would be nice if the height is adjustable.
Decent fit and grip on mouse too.
Pairing is simple with the included USB dongle.
Long battery life and easily recharge via USB, auto sleep when idle for 60sec.
Reasonable for under 29.
Easy to use and comfortable.
I have been using this for a week now 8 hours a day on just 1 charge for both the mouse and the keyboard and it still works as it should so battery wise thumbs up from me.
In terms of comfiness again nothing to complain about, the keys are easy to reach and wide enough for my sausage fingers and are also quiet.
Both the mouse and the keypad are very responsive, I am not sure in terms of gaming as I am not using it for gaming .
Overall with a slick and comfortable design and a good battery I would recommend this.
Wireless Keyboard Mouse
This wireless keyboard mouse combo offers convenience and comfort for everyday use. With its slim design and quiet keys, it provides a pleasant typing experience without disturbing others. While it could have more customization options for advanced users, its overall reliability and functionality make it a reliable choice for home or office use. Overall, it’s a practical solution for those seeking a hassle-free typing and navigation experience.
Reliable for office and home use
This keyboard and mouse combo has simplified my workspace significantly. I’ve been using it both at home and in the office, and the seamless transition between the two locations is something I’ve come to appreciate greatly. The battery life is a standout feature, reliably lasting through long workdays without a hitch. What makes this set particularly appealing is the quiet typing and click sounds, which makes it office-friendly.
Stylish, sturdy and good quality with a flaw
I love the look of it – it’s stylish and elegant and really easy to use as all keyboards are. It’s simply plug and play but remember to turn both keyboard and mouse on. Value for money is amazing however as an Amazon basic item I would’ve thought it would be slightly cheaper as it’s almost in the same price range as branded ones.
With that being said, it’s amazing and operates really well with 1 flaw. As others have mentioned, if you press a key on the corner or the edge sometimes it doesn’t register and you have to repress it harder. I tried my laptops keyboard and it is sensitive so evena light touch registers and another keyboard I have registers. But for the price and the fact it’s rechargeable it’s not that big of a deal.
If you are looking for a rechargeable keyboard and mouse buy this if you can look over the keyboard flaw. (It’s not a big issue but can be annoying if you gloss over a key and it doesn’t register)
I really needed a keyboard where the function keys work by default (without having to use the function key or function lock), and also wanted one with the full set of keys (ie dedicated keys for Insert, Home, End etc); so chose this keyboard/mouse combo.
Very impressed with the quality, looks and feels better even then the premium brand alternatives. Took about half an hour to top-up the charge to full on both keyboard and mouse, and has been working great since. Nice smooth mouse scrolling and quiet keys with good tactile feedback.
Considering it has the full set of keys (110) it is also quite compact, with a neat and elegant look: no large border around the edges of the keyboard.
Have not had it long enough to judge the charge life, but the battery low warning lights on both keyboard and mouse will mean there should be no danger of them going dead mid-use.
Long-lasting rechargeable duo
This wireless keyboard and mouse combo offers fuss-free setup with a single USB receiver. The rechargeable batteries eliminate constant replacements, and the keyboard boasts a comfortable, familiar layout with a quiet typing experience. While it may lack fancy features, it’s a great option for those who want basic wireless functionality on a budget.
Almost the perfect keyboard.
This would have been one of the best wireless keyboard and mouse I have ever used, if it wasn’t for one flaw…and that is the keypresses are sometimes missed if hitting the corners or edges of the keys.
Otherwise, here are the great positives that almost makes this the perfect keyboard for me:
1. British physical layout. So many keyboards on the market, says British layout but they only refer to keys labelling, not the physical layout which is often an American physical layout. Not so with this, we get a British physical keyboard (for instance, the “Enter” key is two rows in height, which is a huge deal to me for typing comfort, the American layout has just a one row height “Enter” key).
2. Big letter printing.
3. Full size keyboard with three partitions where “Home”, “End”, “PgUp”, “PgDn” keys are on their own.
4. Lowest profile possible full size keyboard layout meaning more freed up desk space.
5. Stainless steel body provides heft so that there is no sag or shifting when typing.
6. Typing is a quiet and soothing experience. No loud clicking but still gives a good response.
7. Rechargeable battery, so no more battery changing.
8, Mouse is great, has a low profile while still feeling full under the palm.
9. Mouse scroll wheel and button and feels good when working with game engines such as Unity and Unreal which is an important factor for me.
So, it’s a shame that about the keys’ responsiveness at the edges or corners. If I type hitting the middle of the keys all the time, then it’s not a problem. But I am not that accurate a typist to always hit the middle of the keys.
But otherwise, a four-star keyboard.
Not enough is made that this has a metal top casing and is quite substantial! *updated*
If you get on with a typical laptop keyboard, you’ll feel right at home on this.
The quality of both is top notch and it surprised me out of the box. I was expecting the keyboard to be quite plasticky, but it’s far from it. It has a really nice premium feel due to the top section being metal and a metal chrome trim around the edge. It’s far better than the pictures would have you think. It feels quite rigid too with very little flex. This matters when typing and again, pleasantly surprised because it feels like a proper keyboard rather than a bunch of compromises.
The mouse is nice and responsive. That goes for both the movement / buttons. Besides a mouse mat i tried a few different surfaces (worktop / table) and it tracked just fine for me. The middle wheel has a nice feel to it and that consistent quality finish overall.
No Bluetooth connectivity, just a single USB dongle which is paired to both devices out of the box. It’s nice both keyboard and mouse have a magnetic section for the dongle so it can be stowed in either.
I highly recommend this. It’s not a basic no frills set. It’s a premium feeling / looking piece of kit that is really nice to use. The keyboard is really compact for a full sized layout and the mouse while flat / quiet is more than useable. Just bear in mind that due to the keyboards metal top casing, it isn’t quite a light as an all plastic version. There is probably not a lot in it, but it all counts if you work out of a backpack and travel a lot.
*two month update*
I continue to be impressed by this and it gets used daily. I’ve had no issues with either device so far and it’s just really handy due to the compact size and the premium feel.
