This set is a joy to own. It is quality in every aspect. It would have easily scored a 5 (which it easily deserves) were it not for the fact that the main electric driver does not fit within the main box. The space therein Is reserved for the manual screwdriver. It is such a shame that there is not a re-design to incorporate both, which would make it much more compact. Come on Arrowmax, get your thinking caps on!
Review for SES Plus: Feel and quality of all of the components are excellent – the Electric screwdriver charges by USB-C, feels weighty and has a quality and durable finish. Same applies to the stand.
The Manual driver and bits also feel good and has a quality and durable finish.
However, I was disappointed that the set and case did not hold the electric screwdriver.
On re-inspection, the initial picture is shows what you get, but other pictures are for the other sets. When checking, I noticed the “SES-Ultra Black” had a 30% off so made it cheaper than this item, so have swapped them out.
Compact and thoughtfully designed with four speed settings, being able to be charged on a generic USB-C to USB-C charger would have been welcome instead of USB-C to USB-A. But the FAQ apprises the buyer of this.
The above aside, it performs decently for my purposes.
Haven’t had it that long but when I have used it I found it easy to use. Just make sure that you have a good hold of it when using as the torque is surprisingly strong for such a small screwdriver.
Been after one of these for ages after seeing one my friend had. This one was more expensive but was the only one I could find with the different torque settings. Comes with a nice assortment of priscision bits and after several uses they have not worn or broken like cheaply made ones. You do need to make sure you have a firm grip or it will rotate in your hand. The display is a great addition showing battery life, torque setting and even has an animation to show if your screwing in or un-screwing. Comes in a lovely storage box too.
