Does the job
Bought as a replacement and compared to previous model this makes quite a zapping noice when a bug goes on it. However, it does attract and eliminate the bugs effectively.
Does what it is meant too
We were inundated with flies this summer. Ordered this zapper and were pleasantly surprised to find that it works! Hearing those flies getting frazzled is shamefully satisfying. Glad we bought it. Use it every day.
Effective
I bought the mosquito killer lamp as I kept waking up with bites. This bug killer dramatically reduced the bites, and it is very satisfying hearing the occasional ZAP 🙂 would recommend A*
Bug zappe
Great little unit . We get flys upstairs in from when the windows are open . It’s zaps away and clears the flys very quick. Even had this in the garden of an evening. Keeps the garden free from bugs while sitting drinking in the garden.

Love this nice sizes I leave it on all night time you get up all the fly’s have been killed and the tray is easy to empty well worth the money

Amazing device…had these things before but never really worked, however this one is very effective. Only possible downside is the blue glow in the kitchen at night but i quite like it! Personally i would recommend this and would buy again if needed in another room.
Bugs ZAP off!
This works brilliant in those creepy crawly months especially if you prefer sleeping with your window open. I finally could sleep exactly just how i like without worrying about hearing that blasted fly who never seems to know how to leave the way it came in!

This summer we have had flies galore from open doors and open windows, purchased this to try deal with the issue and it definitely works, took a day or two for all flies on the house to eventually fall into the trap of the light and zap, but you hear it when it does and it got them all, nice handy tray underneath to catch and empty and it also looks nice than some other I compared to, our decor matched this one best, and I’m happy to recommend it in future.

Amazing lamp 🔦
I have been having trouble with moths and flies recently and I was a bit sceptical about buying this lamp but it has honestly been the best decision I ever made. I just power it on at night and it catches them all! It is very bright and you can’t hear it running. The noise level is low. 5* quality would highly recommend! Can also be used outdoors too but I use mine indoors

Every summer the flies descend into our kitchen, buzzing around, getting onto food etc. We finally decided to do something about it and bought this – it works really well and also works in the bedroom getting rid of those annoying mosquitos when we go to sleep. There is also a satisfying pop when a bug is zapped! Recommended
Excellent Produc
Was looking for an insect controller for the kitchen. Ordered this bug zapper, and I’m very impressed, the quality is excellent with a bright fluorescent light which attracts the pesky flies and mosquito’s and with a satisfying crackle it dispenses with the pest. It’s easy to clean with a handy brush and lower collection box you can detach and empty.

We had an awful fly problem in our kitchen this summer and this has sorted it right out.
Just left it on overnight for a few nights and they’re all gone.
Doesn’t smell, and only really makes a noise when something hits it… the bigger the bug the bigger the pop so it seems
It is quite a bright light so you wouldn’t want to use it where you’re sleeping but its light enough that you can more it around easily, as long as there’s a plug socket in reach.
Effective Indoor Fly Kille
I resisted buying one of these for years but having 2 dogs meant leaving our back door open to give them free access to our enclosed back garden this summer. Freedom for the dogs but mega house fly and bluebottle problem indoors.
This thing is scarily efficient at killing insects so I’m very pleased with it.
What worries me is the for outdoor use claim because given the current collapse of the UK insect population I think it very irresponsible to use this outdoors as the unit is indiscriminate, attracting and killing all insects. A big bluebottle that’s just feasted hugely on a dogs business coming indoors and crawling over my food is fair game but outside it’s a vital part of the eco-system so leave the creepy crawlies alone.
Does the job brilliantly!
A brilliant product that does exactly the job it was designed to do. Being summer and with the windows open, we were getting bugged (pardon the pun) by flies. We’d tried fly paper, an electric handheld zapper thing, all to no avail. But this little beauty arrived, we plugged it in and voila! It works a treat. (One tip: it needs to be the brightest thing in the room to attract flies — so ideally use at dusk, or close the curtains or the blinds). It’s wonderfully satisfying when you hear the “zaaappp!” noise as a fly meets its doom.
Needed one of these for a while. Wanted to get an electric one but didn’t want to spend a fortune on it. In the end decided on this one because I found it to be the middle of the pack. Not much to say apart that it works. We’ve had it positioned indoors close to our bifold doors which we leave open in the evening when mossies, flies and other flying bugs tend to get in. The zapper has been actively killing them and we found that mosquitos haven’t been making it to bedrooms and other rooms in the house as they did in the past. Zapping noise tells you when a flying victim has been found and tends to bring a lot of satisfaction to all especially our toddler. I’d recommend to anyone suffering from the same problems.
Little noisy for pets
I’d never had anything like this before but in this warmer weather, we were being terrorised by small flies indoors in the evening so decided this might be the thing. I didn’t realise it makes a loud snapping noise when it ‘zaps’ and it freaks out both my cat and dog and they hide. Makes it a little useless for us as I can’t have them cringing in the corner all night!
Works well
This zapper is definitely worth the money, very powerful, constantly hearing it zap, easy removable base for cleaning it out . A slightly longer lead would have been nice but highly recommended.
Fly seats well
This works very well, sounds a bit like WW3 at times – quite noisy compared to our last one. We have to turn it off at night because the dog thinks it is shooting someone & barks!!

Excellent produc
So impressed with this, live near fields and this year lots of small flies, this really works well and is doing an amazing job of keeping our rooms clear, highly recommend this item, you will not be disappointed
We have this on a timer to come on at sunset and off at sunrise in our hallway. We live in the country and have horses in a field on one side of us and sheep on the other hence we get a LOT of flies and mosquitos. Before using this almost every window had flies and/or mosquitos in them and mosquitos on the walls. After a few days of this on timer we have no flies or mosquitos anywhere !!! Awesome and very effective and the added advantage of providing a low level of purple/blue lighting at night so we don’t need to switch lights on when going to the bathroom. It may take a few nights to get use to the “zap” noise when it kills a fly but it is quiter than others I’ve used/heard in the past.
