Cigarette Lighter Adapter Splitter, 120W USB C Car Charger
Cigarette Lighter Adapter Splitter, 120W USB C Car Charger USB Socket with 30W PD & QC 3.0 LED Voltmeter 12V/24V DC Outlet Dual Socket Lighter Extension for Phone Galaxy GPS Dashcam

A useful tool
The volt meter is a good addition as it can tell you how the charge is going when you first start up. 13.8-14 volts when first starting, dropping to 12.3 volts after a few minutes, when the battery is full. The connectors are just what I needed. One for my mobile phone, another for the Sat Nav, A third for the dash cam and a fourth used by my wife for her iPhone. The power is good, charging in a rapid time. I recommend this device.
Works well for USB cables and Car Camera but needs a cover when unused for sockets.
Works to instantly turn car camera on when socket is activated with car turning on and display does show state of car battery and seems to be pretty reliable.
Cigarette Lighter Adapter Splitter, 120W USB C Car Charger USB Socket with 30W PD & QC 3.0
Arrived in carboard box and wrapped in a plastic wrap that offers no protection apart from dust.
Instructions are printed on the back of the box which is a very useful and less packaging way to not have extra sheets. Instructions cover the USB sockets and also what the display is.
In use, found the USB sockets worked and provide dual charging when cables plugged in for both Android and iOS devices. No issue with generic or branded USB cables as all worked in the Adapter.
Using one of the sockets for a car camera whilst charging also worked and no loss of power while running 3 devices through the Adapter.
The display shows the current voltage of the main battery and as shown in the attached photo, listed at 12.6 while key in and engine not running. The display numbers increase when the car is running and would expect this to be true.
The only negative as shown in the attached photo was that we experienced an exploding bag of crisps in the passenger seat and went slightly over the dashboard and Adapter. Having a cover would have prevented a few crisps dropping into the empty socket. No direct issue as had to remove the Adapter out of the car socket to empty. This did require a cotton bud to remove as seems to be stuck to the inside of the Adapter but did manage to clear this…. but if there were covers, it would have been a nice feature and an awareness that this can happen.
Also the blue light is not able to be switched off therefore can be slightly annoying at night but if angling the head as it’s moveable, you can alter where the display shines so its a niggle but not a bad issue.
Overall though, it has worked for a few weeks therefore no operational issues.
Does what I need.
Only having one socket in my car and needing two this was a no brainer to get.
It seems well made, maybe a little on the chunky side but I think most are made like that.
I do think it would of been good if it had cap covers to prevent dust ect when the sockets are not in use but for me this isn’t a problem as my devices are plugged in all the time anyway.
I can now run my two devices all while using the the USB sockets for charging my phone and tablet.
For 9.99 you really can’t grumble for the amount of sockets you get with this device and is an absolute must buy if your like me and need multiple sockets in your vehicle.
Definitely recommended
Useful multi socket uni
This is one of the best multi socket cigarette lighter adaptors I have come across and at a very reasonable price of around ten pounds.
I got this partly so that I could keep an eye on my car battery voltage. The small display is perfect for checking the voltage prior to starting the car and then checking that the battery is charging while the car is running.
You also get five output sockets (2 x cigarette socket, 2 x USB-A and 1 x USB-C) from one cigarette lighter socket.
Yes an adaptor like this does take up additional space, but being able to alter the angle of the sockets helps you to find the best position for it.
All the socket connections are quite tight, so there should be no accidental disconnections like I often had with my previous adaptor of a different make.
My only complaint is with the quite bright blue socket lighting, which may become annoying when driving at night. I would have preferred a more discreet lighting or none at all.
That said, so far I am very pleased with this item.
Bulky and lacking instructions.
On one hand this does what it needs to do and I understand why it is the size it is but in the other hand it does seem a little bulky, poorly designed and lacking a a user manual – or ateast a slip of paper explaining the 3 different charging ports and what the led numbers mean.
This doesn’t meet my needs but it might meet yours but you need to consider a few things first.
It’s big and bulky – but I guess it needs to be by the very nature of the 12v charging ports on a car.
There is no instruction leaflet in the box, just what is printed on the back of the box so I’m a little lost as to what the power output is of each charging port and if the power drops if more than one port is in use at the same time.
It seems the led numbers represt the voltage – but I’m not sure what this is the voltage of, is it the car battery? It didn’t seem to change no matter if I had no accessories plugged in or if I had the Bluetooth receiver plugged in along with my S23 mobile and my son’s iPhone 15 both charging. I guess this figure may be useful in diagnosing an issue with you car battery but other than that it seems redundant.
Back to “it’s big”.
The unit is tall and bulky – it needs to be to reach down into the existing power socket then come out far enough to allow two more of these big and bulky sockets to sit side by side. In mine I have a Bluetooth receiver for my radio, this is also bulky and overhangs the USB charger ports on the double adapter, making them all but useless. That’s not the fault if the double adapter but something you should consider before choosing this type of double adapter. I plan on using the 2nd 12v port to temporarily power a dashcam until I get it hardwired in – this 2nd connector is the more standard size so should cause any issues.
Unfortunately the position of my charger and size of the doublee adapter means my hand hits against it when changing gear so it really isn’t suitable for my needs – again something you need to consider before ordering.
There are other alternatives available such as a standard 12v plug with a shirt cable to a 2 or 3 port adapter that can be mounted by sticky pads to a more convenient and more secluded location. That being said if you have the space and need a basic double adapter this will do the job very well with the added benefit of two USB A and one USB C charging ports.
