delighted
he table arrived in good condition, on time and all parts complete. However, we did struggle to follow the very small diagrams to construct the table a bit but are delighted with the finished product!
the table was as described and I am very pleased with it.
I liked the quality of the wood and the finish. The instructions for assembly were reasonably clear but like most flat packs when two people are assembling , one is always right!!!!! It looks very smart in the garden, but the rain has fallen most days since. Now looking for a cover????
Assembly is a little difficult two of the legs are a left and right hand the pack contained two right hand legs easily sorted once I’d realised what was wrong, a sturdy table once assembled
This is a fantastic table. When I ordered it, it was such a good price that I was worried that it would be flimsy and poorly made, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. It was dispatched super quickly, straightforward to put together, and brilliant value for the price. One of the pieces had a slight split due to a natural knot so I got in touch with the company and they sent out a replacement piece immediately. Fantastic customer service and excellent table, I’ll happily buy more from them in the future
Read the instructions. Placement of slats is critical.
Garden table. Bought folding as it can be stored easily in winter. Arrived with all parts. I put it together with husband. Really needs 2 people ideally. Looks lovely in the garden. Will ensure it is oiled before storage. Good size and lovely shape.
Nice looking self assembly table.
Nice table. A bit tricky to assemble. Only an exploded diagram to work from. Had to remove and then turn a couple of pieces around and then refit but I guess that’s normal. I used a low torque electric screwdriver with a torx fitting as that is the same size as an Allen key and works a damn sight quicker. For a oner this is not bad value for money.
In all honesty the table is of average build, not bad, but some shoddy workmanship in parts. I’m ok with DIY – as others have said the instructions are not that easy/clear – basically it’s “take all parts and assemble”
They should genuinely break it down into smaller steps. I too, as others have said, had to drill a couple of the holes a bit deeper specifically – a spade bit to increase the depth on the holes on the struts that reinforce the table top – they were not deep enough for the screws to reach the wood (not hard to do but it shouldn’t be needed)
My advice – you need 2 ppl for easier assembly (the legs part) read the instructions twice and mark the pieces – the struts on the legs were the confusing bit. Other then that it’s not bad – so far so good.
Nice table, shame about the packaging.
The product is good and excellent value for money, the packaging is too weak and was split open when received. The instructions leave a lot to be desired, they don’t show the fact the several parts are handed thus it’s easy to mis assemble the legs in particular.
I bought this table in April and delivery was prompt. While the instructions are not the clearest in the world, anybody with a bit of savvy could assemble it. One of the screw holes on the underside didn’t align up properly so I just screwed it in where it was without any harm. Also on the preassembled pieces you can see the finishing isn’t great with small gaps in the joints, but at the price you would have to be very picky. In deciding if I should give it a 3 or a 4 I am swayed by the fact that it has stood out in the garden through sun wind and rain with no ill effects so giving it a 4 for that and the price. You get what you pay for.
Update March 2017. This has sat outside through two summers and winters in its folded position against a wall. After a quick rub down with a sander and a coat of water based fence stain/preserver its good as new and sound enough for another couple of years yet.
I would recommend this as a good buy.
Arrived quite quickly. Instructions fairly basic but not really needed as it was fairly obvious and would have taken about 15 mins for one person (elderly female) except that the main struts that go across the table top were somewhat warped and did not line up with the pre-drilled holes without a bit of encouragement. Once erected it was fine and suitable for what I needed, – a spare table for the patio that could be easily folded away when not in use. The colour to begin with is quite a bright orange which stands out against 40 yr old untreated silvered teak, but I daresay that will mellow in time. For the price it seems good value.
