EFA International Mouse Repellent with Peppermint Oil
EFA International Mouse Repellent with Peppermint Oil, Peppermint Oil Spray for Rat Repellent, Mice Repellent and Rodent Repellent, Peppermint Spray 150ml

| Brand: | EFA International |
| Origin: | United Kingdom |
I like how easy this is to use and I haven’t seen the rat since I started using it. The only downside is that I don’t think it will last very long as you need to use quite a lot.
Sprayed through upstairs floorboard cracks, excellent results for 4 nights of no mice/rat movement or noise. Some remaining scurrying going on, so, are they getting accustomed to the aroma or what? I’m continuing to use as I have Faith . Much kinder than trapping or poisoning!
Update 21/10/23
————
After contacting the manufacturer, they addressed my concerns and explained they are using a new active ingredient. Whilst this may give off a less ‘minty’ aroma, they assure me it is just as effective. Hopefully this is the case, as the first bottle I purchased was excellent.
Original review
——————-
The first bottle I ordered had a very strong peppermint scent that would last for days, and seemed to work very well. That bottle ran out so I re-ordered another.
The second bottle was useless. Hardly any scent at all (and that was after shaking it), so I guess there must be a defective batch.
I contacted the manufacturer by email twice to let them know, and to date they still havent bothered responding.
If you’re lucky enough to get a good bottle, I’d say it’s good. But it’s pot luck if you get a good one or bad one.
A nice smell
I got this for use in the awning at my caravan but due to the caravan being put to bed for the winter. Have used it at home. It’s got a lovely smell so has been sprayed around the skirting boards to deter mice and spiders. Also quite near to the house is our log store for the log burner. Mice just love this and think it’s their home. Sorry to disappoint them. I’ve sprayed here and there in the store because I don’t want them to come near the house so far so good
Great sce
This EFA Peppermint Mouse PestSpray, Peppermint Oil Spray is said to be a Mouse & Rat Repellent. The scent is just like peppermint so the scent is great for humans but for small rodents they don’t appear to like it I think it is because it wipes their scent. With that been said this is only good as a temporary measure this is because when the peppermint scent is gone the rodents are likely to come back. The only other issue it they might just more to another part of your property. The current price of 5.99
Is grea
No sign of mice at the mome
Hopefully this is working as I have not seen any more mice in the shed. They don’t like the smell so I thought i’d try this before taking other measures in getting rid of them.
So far so good
This is the first trying this as I normally lay bait and traps. So far these have worked keeping the move away. By now we would have had a couple of visitors but all is good.
I will update my review at the end of this cold snap when the pests should have gone. I will alter stars according to what happens.
Seems to work and smells pleasa
We have an old cottage on our land which we rent out to tourists. During the winter when bookings are not so frequent we do sometimes have a problem with mice getting into the house, and although we have a cat and have tried setting traps, it hasn’t really solved the problem.
This spray is peppermint-scented and claims to repel mice and other rodents humanely and without damage to the environment. We sprayed it around the skirting boards and in other places where we’ve found mouse droppings in the past, and so far it seems to work – although the instructions advise re-applying weekly.
I don’t expect this to be a complete solution by itself – almost nothing can keep mice out of an empty house in the countryside – but in combination with the other methods we should at least control the problem. A useful addition to the armoury!
Peppermi
This is a very strong scent of peppermint, nice too.
Easy to spray but you have to do hat occasionally as it’s not necessarily long lasting.
I’ve used it and it smells good, not sure if it’s keeping the mice away but haven’t had any so far so I guess it works.
Not bad, happy with i
Worth trying as a deterre
Mouse spray is very peppermint but quite pleasant – haven’t seen a mouse since spraying but hadn’t seen one for a few weeks any way so hard to say how effective it is. You only really know if it doesn’t work but worth trying as a deterrent though. Smell does fade relatively quickly so worthdoingofte
Strong smells
Hard to tell if it works or not, but it is quite easy to apply. I never heard any rat scratch noise from the gutter after spraying this product. So I am quite satisfied with this product. Time will tell.
Strong mint fragrance
This is a good size spray. The bottle is easy to use with an effective spray nozzle. It’s small enough that you can get into small spaces such as between cupboards.I think it would be most effective as a deterrentonce you know you have gotten rid of the mice, spray the areas they were seen in, as they don’t like the smell.
Seems to be working
Ordered this as mice keep getting in to my kitchen from where the waste pipe goes down under the house. Smells pleasant enough for humans, nice and minty. Hard to say if it’s working or the mice are just in hibernation for winter but so far, no mice.
Easy to spray to hopefully keep the pests ou
we’ve had a mouse problem for a while since our neighbours have decided to turn their garden into a small “farm” which means its a really useful place for the rodents to find ready veg, scraps etc
I’ve used this spray along the common wall and fencing and been surprised at the smell not being all chemically
It’s strong but pleasa
Seems to work
Sprayed along the bottom of the garage door and haven’t seen any traces of the mice returning and none caught in the traps, I was averaging about 1-2 a night and that’s 4 days now without any so 10 out of 10
Smells of nice peppermi
I thought of getting this as my mum’s having trouble with mousexand rats in her shed. The little blights are chewing through everything and destroying loads. I’m hoping by spraying this it will deteur them. It’s a easy spray bottle , shake int well before spraying. And spray in the problem areas.
Make sure to repeat this procedure everywhere.
I’m hoping it will be good. I find it a bonus that it smells pleasant.
I use so many methods to deter mice. I truly believe it’s a combined effort rather than one product. The only impact I’ve personally witnessed is no spiders coming through the extractor fan every time we turn it on. I can’t express the horrors of drying yourself in the shower to see a thick black spider on it [Cue Alfred Hitchcock Screams]
Wrapping cardboard storage in bio degradable plastic film also helps, as they love cardboard.
Time will tell
I didn’t realise rodents didn’t like peppermint so I’ll be using this on my fence as my neighbour has chickens and mice are always a problem
Time will tell if this does discourage them but regardless of that it smells wonderfully fresh and minty so certainly can’t do any harm
Strong smell that seems to go a bit quickly.
Small spray bottle that smells very minty when first applied.
Seemed to repel mice in my shed, but the smell only lasted a couple if days. The mice may still be able to smell it, but I felt I had to reapply 2-3 times in a week.
Strong smelling and easy to use
This pest spray comes in a sprayable bottle that is very easy to use in the areas you need.
The bottle comes filled with information about the product and how to best use it.
The peppermint smell is super strong so pest will not like it and will hopefully stay away from the area. The bottle is large and will last a fair amount of time.
