I have had the ESR case for my iPad Pro 11 inch (2024 model) since it was launched and I’m super excited to share my thoughts! First off, fitting the iPad into this case was a breeze. You literally just pop it in, and voil!

The protection this case offers is fantastic — it’s like wrapping your iPad in a cozy, sturdy blanket. It’s got all-around coverage, so I’m not worried about those accidental drops and bumps anymore. What’s really cool is that it’s a two-piece cover held together with magnets. It’s surprisingly strong and keeps everything in place nicely.

Now, let’s talk about the Apple Pencil. This case has a dedicated holder for it, which is awesome. No more losing the Pencil in the bottom of my bag! Plus, there’s a nifty flap that locks both the iPad and the Pencil in place. Super handy for when I’m on the go.

Another feature I love is the removable magnetic cover. It’s like having the best of both worlds — you can take it off when you don’t need it, making the iPad lighter and easier to handle. And when you do need it, it snaps right back on effortlessly.

The vertical stand is a game-changer too! It’s perfect for video calls, watching movies, or even following a recipe while cooking. The versatility of this case is seriously impressive.

Overall, I’m loving this ESR case. It’s functional, protective, and just makes using the iPad so much more convenient. Definitely recommend it!

I’ve been using this case for about a week now and it’s great. It adds full front and back protection to the iPad without adding much bulk to it so it still feels light and thin. I love the way the ‘inner’ protection around the side and back of the case detaches from the rest of the case so that you can hold it without the full protection as you would hardly realise the was a case on it at all.

Very sturdy for propping the iPad up at various angles in both portrait and landscape modes with no worries about it falling over. Closing the cover over the front of the iPad causes it to go into standby mode automatically as you would expect.

No problems with accessing the USB-C charging port at the bottom with the case on and perfectly aligned speaker holes and buttons so there are no problems there.

All in all, an excellent case that offers excellent protection and is a lot cheaper than Apple brand cases.

The new case for the iPad Pro 11 (2024) is a perfect blend of protection, functionality, and style. Designed to match the sleek profile of the latest iPad Pro, this case has a robust protection without adding unnecessary bulk. One of the standout features for me is the Detachable Magnetic Cover, you can simply have the ipad in a thin case and then with the help of magnets have the addition of a stand, a cover and more robust protection.
Overall, this case is a must-have for any new iPad Pro 11 owners.

Its hard to review cases for iPads as there are so many of them, and a case is a case right ?

However as with most ESR products, this one goes that little bit further that makes it stand out from the crowd.

It’s easy to fit (and take off if necessary) and once fitted is nice and snug. Not that I am planning on dropping my iPad, but I am confident this would give a good amount of protection if I did – the case is quite thick and adds bulk to the svelte iPad, but that thickness just adds to the protection.

I particularly like the fact you can rotate the iPad 90 degrees within the case and view the iPad in portrait mode – this is the first case I have had where this is possible (I know there are other cases out there that offer this, I’ve just never owned one).

I can’t comment on the Apple Pencil 2 support as I do not own an Apple Pencil but if you have one I am sure this will be useful.

The case looks and feels like quality and is a typical ESR product, which means its good value for money, does what it is meant to do with a few extra bells and whistles and will last you a while.

From the moment I first held the case I was impressed by its premium feel. The materials used in its construction are both robust and sleek, offering a perfect balance between durability and elegance (which a lot of other cases fail to deliver on). The case feels lightweight and smooth to the touch, making it incredibly comfortable to handle. Its strong magnetic attachment gives a reassuring sense of security, and the slim profile enhances portability without sacrificing protection.

One of the standout features of this case for me is the front cover, which doubles as a stable stand, offering multiple angles (as well as portrait) for viewing, typing, and drawing. This versatility is perfect for me as i use my iPad for many things like watching movies, sketching and typing out emails. The stand is sturdy and reliable, making sure that my iPad remains stable in any position. It also has full support for the Apple Pencil Pro. The recessed side groove allows for magnetic charging, and the magnetic clasp keeps the Pencil secure when not in use.

Overall, i believe the ESR Hybrid Case 360 is an excellent choice for anyone looking to protect and enhance their iPad. Its perfect fit, durable construction, and thoughtful features like Apple Pencil support and versatile stand make it a standout product. I highly recommend this case to anyone in need of reliable protection for their iPad. Once again, ESR proves why they are my go-to brand for iPad accessories.

I hope this review helps other potential buyers make an informed decision. Enjoy your new case!

This is a really nice case for my IPAD! I love it so much! It has sturdy magnets that keep it in a folded position and feel strong enough not to fall over or fallen! The rubber around the edge is thin but sturdy! I’ve managed to drop the iPad once there and it survived without any problems at all. Thankfully it landed on the corner of the rubber and it was completely fine! Very impressed with the build of the case and being able to swap from landscape to portrait with ease makes the case so much better!

Overall I would give this case a solid 9.5/10 My only problem would be that the case is a lot thicker than I was expecting but that’s just person preference

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThere are already quite a few good rotatable iPad cases available on the market.
This one however caught my attention with its subtle yet flexible design.
I’ve been waiting for a practical stand like this one for a while!

From a distance, it looks just like Apple Smart Folio, however, as you look closely, you’ll notice it’s actually a proper protective case that’d give you extra peace of mind knowing that if you accidentally drop your iPad, your iPad is likely to survive the fall.

The feature that stood out the most is the ‘detachable’ cover. You can fold the cover just like you would with the Apple Smart Folio which allows you to position it at the angle of your desire. But with the detachable design, you now have the freedom to not only turn it 90 degrees to position the iPad vertically, but you can also separate your iPad from the ‘stand’ (i.e. the cover) super quickly and leaving it behind, which makes it easy to pass your iPad around (e.g. in a meeting setting) as opposed to cumbersomely passing the entire cover/stand + iPad around.

    Few things to complain about
    – Surface material:
I really do like the feel of the surface, but after handling it for a couple of hours, I noticed how it attracted the grease/oil (e.g. if you’re looking at a recipe on the iPad while cooking), and if that bothers you, then cleaning the surface would be an ongoing hassle.

    – Closing the cover doesn’t turn the iPad off:
I assumed it was just like Apple Smart Folio, closing the cover meant turning the screen off, so I closed the cover and left to do something else for hours, came back noticing the iPad was feeling quite hot, then found out the screen stayed on (I set my iPad to not go to sleep when it’s plugged in)

    – Apple Pencil not charging:
The thickness of the silicon on the side makes my iPad detecting the Apple Pencil challenging. I’ve noticed how my Apple Pencil ran out of battery because it wasn’t charging!
I pressed it harder on the Apple Pencil (sitting in the ‘grove’) against the side of the case, and the iPad then detected the Apple Pencil and began charging, but when I released the pressure, it went ‘offline’ again

    Pros:
    – Sleek/subtle design
    – Quality feel to the surface
    – Detachable cover
    – Actual case that protects the iPad
    – Flexibility with positioning the iPad and angling the cover/stand

    Cons:
    – Surface material that attracts grease
    – Closing the cover doesn’t turn the iPad off
    – Silicon thickness on the side of the case prevent Apple Pencil from charging

This is a really excellent case, especially for the price.it fits snugly, is great quality and a good colour (green). I love that there is a separate protective cover for the iPad that can be removed from the case. My Apple Pencil still attaches and charges when this protector is on, so there’s no reason to ever take it off. it makes the iPad more comfortable to hold too. The outer case just pops on when I want to put the iPad in my bag for travelling and a magnetic flap protects the pencil. The iPad is totally useable with the outer case on – it just folds back. It has two stand positions – one quite upright, for watching the screen and one at a low angle for writing or drawing. The inner cover is magnetic too I so it can stick to the fridge when cooking or using it in the kitchen.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersVersatile Value!

I’ve been using this case for a while now and so far it’s been great. Not only does the ESR Hybrid case support the most number of different viewing modes I’ve seen in a single product, it also manages to pull off each mode competently too whereas most other cases have compromises in one way or another.

It comes in two parts: The bumper case and the folio case. The iPad goes into the bumper case which then magnetically attaches to the folio case (the iPad can’t magnetically attach to the folio case by itself, it has to be in the bumper). When I just need the tablet by itself, I can detach it from the folio cover and just use it in the bumper, and when I need to stand it up or carry it in my bag, I can click it into the folio. I think this design is really intuitive, and allows the best of both worlds without sacrificing protection for the device. The magnets are very strong and I never feel like the iPad is going to fly out of the case or the standing position will collapse at any point.

The case material is soft TPU, which looks like it can absorb shock from a drop (not that I’ve tried) and it has a good grip too, so there’s less risk of it slipping out of my hands. The edge of the bumper case has been designed so that it fits neatly around the edge of glass screen protectors (the one I’m using is also from ESR) without pushing into them. In stand mode, the iPad is very sturdy and won’t slip down because the inside surface of the folio is made from a rubbery material that gives it extra grip. Even though I got the black version, it doesn’t seem to retain fingermarks and stays clean unlike many other iPad cases.

As for added heft, this case measures 14.5mm in thickness with the iPad inside. Compared to the 5.9mm thickness of the iPad itself, it might seem like a lot but it’s actually not too different to most other “slim” folio cases and what I would consider absolutely reasonable. With an iPad Pro 11″ cellular model inside, it weighs 908g which is a little on the heavier side.

All in all, I’d totally recommend this case purely for how versatile it is. You can stand it in as many ways as you like or even detach it as a thin, lightweight unit without the folio. As far as folio cases go, this is one of the better ones out there.
