Brilliant first aid kit crammed full of everything you could want.
Extra deatils include a quick reference emergency card and sliding locks that allow a padlock to be fitted to the case if needed.
Fantastic set with just so much included
This little first aid kit is pretty good! It comes in a sturdy plastic case, and has a decent amount of supplies for using at home, or while travelling or on holiday.
The quality of said supplies seems to be good, with plenty of plasters (not bandages!) in various shapes and sizes, antiseptic wipes, gauze pads, saline solution, cotton swabs (extra points for being made of wood, not plastic!), burn relief gel, micropore tape, a cold compress, and some nitrile gloves, to take care of most mild emergency situations.
I like that it’s both compact and convenient, and seems to be good value for money. Especially as contrary to the label, mine contains 118, not 110 items!
Unfortunately, this kit does not contain any of what we in Britain call bandages, which is a shame, and frankly, a bit of a let-down. For this reason, I’m only giving it four stars.
As stated in the description this is a small, compact first aid kit that would fit very well into the glove compartment of your car or in a small drawer in the house. It is packed with lots of items to help in the majority of incidents that require first aid.
The thing that I was really pleased about in this kit is the little instruction booklet that talks you through what to do in a number of situations from anything as serious as a heart attack to something as simple as a bee sting.
Knowing how to use some of the items within the kit is invaluable and the little booklet helps you with this, ie, use the cold compress included in the kit for a bee sting.
The box is super easy to open which is essential when you’ve maybe cut yourself and don’t have the full use of both hands. There are loads and loads of plasters in there which would probably be one of the main uses of the box.
I was extremely pleased with this kit and highly recommend it.
When I saw this first aid kit, I thought that I should have it because I may need it in many cases, especially for my son, who, like any child, can fall and get hurt, and I should have the right things with me to treat him even a little. This kit includes 110 different pieces which are the essential things in case we are injured. They come packaged in a plastic case which looks strong, durable, very lightweight and small which does not take up much space anywhere that we can carry it like in the car, house, office or big bags. It is also perfect to take with us when we travel or go camping. I think it is worth the price.
Handy for keeping in the car, caravan, work cabinet, etc… the stuff all comes packed inside the case in a plastic bag.
I dared to open it, and now cannot, for the life of me, get everything back inside the box to close it.
Alas, this is my own fault and not the product’s, but the contents are fine for a basic kit, and don’t feel cheaply made or poor quality.
I’m going to keep mine in the car.
I recently purchased the General Medi 110 Pieces Small First Aid Kit, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in every way. With a comprehensive array of 110 hospital-grade medical supplies, this kit ensures that I am prepared for a wide range of emergencies. Not only is the variety impressive, but the quality of the items is top-notch, adhering to the highest safety standards.
What truly stands out for me is the kit’s compact and efficient design. Despite its small size, weighing only 0.65 pound, it manages to hold an incredible amount of essential items. This makes it a perfect companion for various settings, whether it’s at home, in the office, or on the go. Its portability is a significant advantage, fitting effortlessly into most glove boxes, making it an ideal choice for road trips, camping, hiking, or any outdoor activities.
Another aspect that I greatly appreciate is the affordability of this kit. It offers exceptional value for money, providing high-quality medical supplies at a very reasonable price. This aspect makes it accessible to a wide range of users, from individuals to families, and even small businesses.
In summary, my experience with the General Medi First Aid Kit has been highly positive. It’s a comprehensive, portable, and affordable solution for a variety of emergency situations. I wholeheartedly recommend this product to anyone seeking a reliable and efficient first aid kit. It’s a solid 5 out of 5 stars from me, a testament to its quality and utility.
Box arrived damaged.
However the kit itself is very comprehensive (I got it for the plasters) the plasters are various sizes and good quality.
The eye wash /bath is handy and various buds, lotions and potions. My opinion is that this is perfect for going away small enough to not take up any room but useful enough for minor scrapes and bumps even bites etc.
A good and handy bit of kit.
This is a good little First Aid kit. It contains 110 items to help with basic First Aid needs. Some of the items have multiples. The case that they come in is also quite sturdy.
Please note that the items labelled as ‘bandages’ and listed as ‘adhesive bandages’ are what we would typically call ‘plasters’ in the UK. What we would call ‘bandages’ in the UK are not included in the kit. I think that the kit would be improved if it had at least one bandage in it. I’d find that very useful.
If you’re anything like me, you don’t currently have a first aid kit — what you have is an assortment of plasters, antiseptic creams, etc., scattered around your home, car, work and bags, and despite your best intentions you never actually get around to doing anything to organise them!
This is a great starter kit. It has the basics for cleaning and treating small cuts and abrasions, as well as some nice-to-have extras like instant cold packs & burn gel. And the best thing is they are all kept securely together in a sturdy, well-made, first aid box. It is certified as being approved by OHSA (which is the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, a regulatory agency of the United States Department of Labor).
Now that you have the basics you can expand your kit to suit your needs according to where you intend to use it. If you decide to buy add-ons, have a look at what the NHS recommends – nhs.uk/common-health-questions/accidents-first-aid-and-treatments/what-should-i-keep-in-my-first-aid-kit/
And, remember to check your kit regularly. Replace expired items, disposing of them safely. Replace any items that have been taken from the kit. There’s no point in having one if you don’t keep it up to date! The expiry date on the first aid kit I received is 08/2026.
A useful compact first aid kit which is perfect for the home, office, and would fit into a car glove box also. It contains all the necessities you would require in minor emergencies such as cold compress, burn gel, tape, saline, alcohol swabs, antiseptic wipes, gauze, cotton buds as well as an abundance of plasters. Most items are sealed in sterile packaging, with expiry dates for a few years.
