Not as good as using actual weights you can pull in the gym, but I suppose this is the next best thing. Maybe it’s just me but I feel a bit anxious they’re gonna snap though. It’s not that they feel weakly made, it’s just the principle of pulling a lot of force into elastic

I was a little sceptical about these bands initially but after hurting my back, a physiotherapist gave me some basic exercises to strengthen my core using similar bands. Having a range of different resistances in the bands means I am able to adjust as my core strengthens.

When I first took them out of their bag, they seemed rather skinny as opposed to the images on Amazon, but they are much sturdier than they appear. The resistance goes from a light 10Lbs up to 30Lbs, giving a real range of options. They are really helping me and will hopefully mean my lower back is stronger going forwards.

The main thing I love about these resistance bands is that the handles don’t hurt your hands – with a lot of cheaper sets you end up with hard plastic handles that dig in to your hands, but these are nice and soft and easy to grip.

There’s a nice variety of resistances, and even a little guide included for some exercises you can do with them.

Build quality is pretty nice, they don’t feel like they’ll snap as they’re all quite thick rubber, so seem like they’ll be long lasting!

Comes with loads of different weight options suitable for all classes of people.

It comes with a nice bag to store them in which help a lot with keeping things tidy. The material seems really strong. I wouldn’t normally get something like this but thought I’d give it a go and I’m not disappointed.

The resistance feels good all I would suggest is be safe as they will hurt if you slip

The first thing I noticed about this set is how much the box weighs. That is reflective of the fact that everything inside seems to be built to handle the strain.

The set includes a bag to store everything in, and an exercise guide (poster on thick glossy card). These too look well made.

I don’t know how this set compares to other sets in the same price-range, but it does look pretty robust to me, with a good range of resistances.

Been using these for over a week now, even allowed my sister to borrow them for her to exercise her lower back to tackle back injury. Overall, really happy for this set. I would say this is for those who have the some experience with similar exercises. For beginners, I would suggest speaking to a professional mainly on posture and techniques. The set comes with a list of possible exercises which you can do with this set. But it doesn’t really explain and detail the posture and technique. Which is important and potentially damaging.

The resistance bands are all colour coded and vary in resistance strength. From 11.5kg to 34kg. It should serve most people’s needs. They come with a very sturdy bag to store them in. Some of the suggested exercise can’t be achieve with most. Like the ones you need to strap the bands onto a pole. One thought for those who don’t have a gym membership, to use these in the public park gym, if your home doesn’t have a pole to strap them to. The straps and bands are very well made. I never felt they will ever snap in the middle of an exercise. I think this is the most important aspect.

I have been having fun with this resistance training set since it arrived. At first, I was a little daunted by the “for men” in the description, but when I looked at the range of weights I felt that I could handle it, especially as there were images of ladies doing exercises in the lineup.

And oh my. The bands are really good quality and do give you a very decent workout. There is something for everyone. Best of all, if you have been out of practice for a while, you could begin with a lower tension and work your way up. I was able to pull all of them at least a few times with no ill effects, but obviously the higher weights take more effort. The non-slip handles are very comfortable to hold and really do give a good grip, even if you’ve got hands as small as mine. If your ankles are slim, you may struggle to get a good fit with the included straps, but I suppose that extra linings could be added. The sponge lining is very comfortable and does not chafe the skin (I put it over my socks the first couple of times though).

Inside the box were three bundles in clear, sealed plastic bags, plus a black draw-string bag and a folded poster showing different types of exercises which can be performed with the resistance band.

I am very happy with this set as it proved that I was not as out of condition as I had feared. I look forward to getting a lot of use out of it.

Who would I recommend it for? Active adults and any home with teenagers in it. They will have a ball!

There are plenty of these kind of exercise resistance band sets for much less money if you’re willing to shop around. At 50 (after 20 discount), this set is priced at the premium end of the market, and I’m not sure why. Yes it looks good, feels solid and good quality but imo, that doesn’t equate to the hefty price tag.

If you have the money then go for it, if you want the sensible option- look elsewhere.

    Hope this review was helpful.
