I wanted a quiet fan and this fan is exactly that, it has 5 speeds a timer and a remote control, it’s a good size and very sturdy and solid. So far I am very pleased with it.
Sceptical to say the least having bought many a fan but ‘hand on heart’ the Honeywell is the Best by far. Solid, Quality and pleasing design, multiple speed options and extremely quiet as it advertises. Remote control, meaning no more getting out of bed to turn a fan up or down, which direction, oscillating or not or on or off and the Timer ‘BONUS’. Size is perfect, even for the smallest of rooms and the overall cost is definitely Value for Money.
My wife loves to have a fan on in the bedroom during the night, and usually the noise from that keeps me awake, no more. This fan really is super quiet on the first 2 speeds, a little louder on 3 and 4, and perhaps a bit more on 5, though this is never used at night. The remote control is also really useful and so simple to operate.
Really do recommend this fan.
This fan is amazing. I have never had such a quiet fan. If you couldn’t see it moving you would have no idea it’s on. I can sleep easily when it’s on first or second power setting. It’s slightly more noticeable on the third and fourth settings but still nowhere near as noisy as every other fan I’ve had. The timer is reliable too. That means I can go to sleep with it on and know it’ll turn itself off after an hour, or 2 or 4…
The only negative aspect is that it’s pretty heavy, so it takes quite an effort to lift and move it when you adjust your position in the room. I’m not complaining as I suspect the weight is partly what stops it from rattling and whirring like other flimsier fans.
Fantastic product.
Bought 2 for upstairs to replace a very old portable air con unit. Very easy to assemble even on my own with limited need for instructions. Much quieter than regular fans. Remote control is a great bonus to turn on and off whilst in bed. Really pleased and well worth the extra money over a cheap fan.
Easy to set up and stylish/modern mechanism. The lights on the fan dim nicely after 15 seconds so they’re not in your face at night while trying to sleep.
There are no beeps, bells or whistles, so when you press a button on the fan or remote, it does the task straight away. This is great in the middle of the night.
The only downside is the fan blade cover is a bit “same old, same old” and the remote might look stylish from far but looks a bit cheap.
You might be thinking I’ve been on an on about the fan at night – I believe sleep should be sacred.
