Expensive but works first time
You can buy cheap copies or refills but this is guaranteed to fit and work first time straight out of the package. Your time is more precious than a few pounds of ink.
short warranty date
I like to keep a cartridge in stock, as the current one was coming to an end, ordered this but when it arrived the warranty date was very short, installed that and the spare I had remained as a spare as that is ok until jan 2025
Expensive ink but needed
It’s ink for hp printer, cheaper than buying from hp, does what it is supposed to do, but will check out other ink options when time comes to replace as more expensive than petroleum per litre
Annoyingly expensive but does what it says
Its a bit of a gripe of mine that it costs so much to get ink for a printer but previously purchased generic inks have not worked and the printer will not give level of ink on cartridges which are not genuine.
The only ink approved by HP
Good ink and HP only approve of the use of its own product in HP printers. However, as we all know, ounce for ounce manufacturers own brand printer ink is more expensive than Champagne!

Okay but expensive cartridges
Firstly I bought this for my mum as her standard black one ran out or dried up.
It came in a card box with a sturdy foil sealed bag. Inside the bag was a small black ink capsule which I thought was quite small considering its high yield stated capacity.
The cartridge was protected with a nice plastic interface chip cover and a plastic cello tape style strip on the ink heads.
The cartridge was installed by lifting up the main body on this printer which initiated the tray to move across. Pull up the front of the cartridge and it clipped out easilly. Installed doing the reverse pushed it in slanted towards back then pushed front down till it clipped it (not much pressure at all, if you’re applying pressure you’re likely doing it wrong).
Shut the main body and away it went. Straight away detected genuine cartridge and asked to align print heads. Printed some documents in colour and looked fine, text and images were sharp.
My quarrels with this is just a problem with HP I think, they’re just so expensive so best to buybabfew when on offer. If wasn’t for price it’s be 5 star.
