This is such a lovely little toy.
The first thing that hit me was how light the train actually feels, while still maintaining a sturdy build. It is light enough for my toddler to lift and move around. As it is pushed along the floor, and the wheels turn, the little cogs on the side of the train start to spin.
There are also some musical buttons that change between animal sounds, vehicle sounds to music and melodic sounds.
Great toy
Firstly I was impressed with the quality of it as soon as I took it out the box. You wouldn’t be able tell if this was a famous child’s toy brand or not. I suspect it may be made in the same manufacturing plant as the big brands use for their products.
It’s smooth, bright, has lights and is very noisywhat more could a child want. Also for the parents there is a volume switch thank goodness!
This is solid and robust so will withstand knocks and bangs all day long. A good toy to aid your young ones coordination development as well as keeping them entertained for hours. Good buy and half the price of the famous brands.

Pros:
Variety: The many options for little hands to engage with are excellent and our little one spends tonnes of time just exploring and seeing how the various bits work, time after time, making this a good investment in terms of stimulation and ongoing play.
Build: The product is sturdy and doesn’t feel like many other toys that would break if dropped from a small height or are bashed by little ones exploring.
Price: The product is well put-together and durable. This, like most other toys for young ones, will eventually lose its magic and be put to the side when further stimulation and educational toys come along so a cheaper price tag like this encourages me to take the leap and purchase.
Our 8mth old is loving this Train at the moment…and we’ve not even put batteries in (3x AA, not included)!! She’s interacting enough without the extra stimulation of music and sounds, which we’ll introduce later.
Lightweight yet durable. Easily to wipe and well built.
This train locomotive toy has a lot going for it: four rings to move along the handle, four cog wheels connected to the vehicle’s wheels all moving beautifully to push the toy forward and backward. But the best thing is the sounds (and light) your child will be able to trigger by pressing various buttons. There’s a bell symbol which enables them to change between 3 modes. Depending on the mode selected, the four cog wheels and the three animal buttons on the front will emit the sounds that they illustrate (elephant, dog, duck or motorbike, ambulance, fire engine, locomotive – although the motorbike sound is more akin to a chainsaw than a motorbike). Alternatively you may also get notes, sound effects or nursery rhymes. The toy is kept secure in a cardboard tray with some plastic screws so that it can’t move at all. Requires 3 x 1.5V AA batteries, kept secure on the back thanks to a door that is screwed in. Instructions are printed on the box with illustrations. For children over 12 months old.
