Quick Installation

Is the security camera outdoor wireless or wired?

The description of “wireless” refers to this camera supporting 2.4GHz WiFi wireless connection, it does not mean that it is a battery camera.

What to do if the WiFi configuration doesn’t work?

Only 2.4GHz WiFi is supported. If your router supports dual bands, split the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. You can also contact Imou support team for further assistance.

What to do if the camera goes offline on Imou life App?

If the red LED light is flashing, move the camera closer to the router and reinstall it. If the green LED light is steady, check if your mobile phone’s network is normal and smooth

How to download the SD card video from Imou App?

Connect phone to the same network as the camera and access Imou life App>Me>Tool>Lan view to download the SD card video. Each camera has a 30-day trial period of Imou Cloud to discover more advanced features, then decide whether or not to subscribe.

How long is the support period of firmware?

It is at least 2 years, the day of firmware update cessation is 2027/12/31.
