Great value and a great bag
Purchased for a family holiday last minute so price was key. This bags great comparable to much more expensive hiking bags I have had in the past! Great space lots of pockets! Highly recommend.
Perfect for holidays
I bought this bag pack for my holidays. This bag contains many pockets plus too much space for carrying many stuff. Built quality is amazing and light weight and standard size.
So useful and good quality
I bought this backpack for my kids to use for school outdoor activities. It has a large capacity (you can refer to my pictures), is very light, and is of great quality. It is suitable for people of all ages. This backpack can be put into a laundry bag and then thrown into the washing machine for washing without fading. The design of the bag is very fashionable, the color is also resistant to dirt, and most importantly, it is waterproof. There are also many compartments for you to put or hang some water bottles, umbrellas or outdoor activity equipments. The best thing are it is come with rain cover to protect all your stuff safely. Im happy about this valuable product. Highly recommended it.
decent backpack for travelling and camping
his is a hiking backpack with 50 litres of capacity, it’s surprisingly lightweight, and came in folded, very small for storage
it has all essential features of a multi-functional hiking backpack, wide open main bag with loads of functional side bags for all purpose; also each to reach mesh pockets for water bottles and keep things handy to reach
there are adjustable straps around to keep the bag in shape, not feeling bulky and good support when fully loaded
a sharp orange rain cover is included for extreme weather, easy to put on and keep the bag away from the wind and rain, also maintain good visibility
decent and strong material, it’s a good backpack for travel and camping, satisfied with it, would recommend
Good value
For the price this is very good value. Yes, it isn’t as good as a 300 rucksack, but why would it be when it costs ten percent of that.
I really liked the colour. It is a nice shade of green and just what I was hoping for.
The quality seems reasonably good. As I mentioned above, it won’t compare with a rucksack costing hundreds of pounds, but I wanted something inexpensive that I could take on camping trips and this one fits the bill perfectly.
The zips all seem to work well and have little tags on them to make it easier to pull them up.
It would have been nice if there had been some kind of strap on the top to hold my tent (a very lightweight one).
There’s plenty of space to store everything I need for a short camping trip.
In summary, for the money I think it is good value.
Great value rucksack
I carry all my equipment for metal detecting in an old canvas bag, so to have a nice new rucksack to use instead is great.
I picked the bright orange colour because it’s easy to see when you have walked across a field and need to go back to your bag.
I get a change of clothes in it easily, plus a spare pair of shoes to replace my muddy boots. I carry a spade and flask of tea and also my sandwich box.
It has a bright orange waterproof cover, included in the price, which is pretty much essential in the typical British summer.
My daughter has already booked it in for her next camping trip to Sweden. She has worked out that she will be able to get t days worth of clothing in it quite easily.
For the price it’s pretty impressive all round, with plenty of pockets in addition to the main storage area.
The straps are padded and comfortable and there are front straps to help secure the load.
Good value, well made.
A decent lightweight rucksack but perhaps a touch more expensive than it should be
This review is for the jianyana Hiking Backpack 50L for Men Women Waterproof Rucksack Lightweight Travel Rucksack Backpack with Rain Cover for Camping Trekking Hiking Walking Outdoor Sports (Navy Blue)
36.96 at the time of review.
It is delivered folded over in a plastic bag and nothing else which means less waste which is good.
The bag itself is described as being made of high-quality Oxford cloth material and polyester lining, but there is no description of the density or thickness of the material or of the materials used in it either.
The bag is a very good size for carrying a few days of clothing and camping/hiking equipment. There are lots of pockets with zips and lots of loops to hang things from. The only things missing are a loop on the top to carry a bedroll or a tent, and loops for carrying tent poles, walking sticks, etc.
The waterproof covering is bright yellow and has its own compartment in the top of the bag and is very easy to get to. The colour will make it very easy to see from a distance.
The straps and back are padded to reduce strain when wearing it and the addition of the straps across the chest and midriff are good for keeping it in place when walking.
I think this rucksack would work well for a short hiking trip, but I would worry about using it for longer than 3 or 4 days as it doesn’t feel substantial enough. It is supposed to be waterproof, and I haven’t tested that claim, but again, I can’t see it standing up to the worst of the weather that the UK can throw at you.
All in all though, a decent rucksack for the occasional outdoor trek, or perhaps as a travelling rucksack for buses and aeroplanes, so 4 stars from me. A quick search on Amazon shows that it is priced a little higher than a lot of its competitors, so shopping around may be helpful.
A Quality Backpack, At Not Much Cost!
Let’s start by saying, 36.96 minus a 10% off voucher currently on the advert which brings it down to just 33.26, is Great Value for any 50 Litre Rucksack – But particularly one of this Quality! It’s made of Oxford Cloth Material with Polyester Lining, making it Waterproof, Tear-proof, Scratch-proof and even Wear-resistant. There’s a Good Size Main Compartment, with lots of other Smaller and Mesh Pockets, of which many have Durable Zip closures. The Padded Back Area and Shoulder Straps are designed for Comfort and to allow Air to Flow in-between yourself and the Rucksack – This helps to reduce Sweat and Chafing whilst wearing it. Amongst other pluses, it also comes with a Rain Cover, which gives it even further Protection from the ailments and is Bright Orange in Colour so you can be seen easier in Emergency situations. Altogether, I like it a lot and it’s Absolutely Perfect for one of my Families 72 Hour Survival Packs that I’m currently putting together! Thank you.
50L bag!
As ruck sacks go i like the colour of this one as its in a two tone of grey and army green which is a colour i like although the waterproof cover is a bright orange i would have preferred it match the bag in a green or i would have ordered the orange rucksack. The design has been well though out with nicely padded shoulder straps and includes a waist strap to help equalize the load so the weight is dispersed across my back. The various pockets are great for containing different items so they can be easily accessed without the need to take everything out of the main large section with it opening both from the top and bottom. The bag itself is lightweight and can be folded down for easy storage when not being used. At the time of ordering the cost was 36.96 which is good value for money in my personal opinion.
