This is designed to lengthen the life span of your induction top. Also protect from scratches and things being dumped on the working surface heavily.
It can withstand very temperatures so have to be carful handling. Helps with counter space as I hate to be crushed into a corner.
Very easy to look after with just a wipe over. One thing to remember is never to put the cover on a working stove.
I’m sold on the idea of using these as the pros are much better than the cons…
awesome hob cover that really give you more prep space
This is a really good cover for your induction hob and a huge upgrade on the tea towel I was using before.
It has a rubber style anti slip bottom, so it doesn’t slide around but also this stops the hob from beeping if you put a metal pan on top of it. The top layer is a nice soft material with well stitched edging all the way round and two hanging hooks on the top. It’s nice to be able to hang it up but it would be even better if it had a defined fold in the middle so you can just fold the front section back onto the back part and access the front two hobs as that’s personally all I use most days.
Overall, for 36.99 I thought it was a little expensive, but it does the job very well and is nicely made, I just think it needs a deal to attract people to try one and once they do, like me they will love it.
Effective protection for your kitche
I recently renovated my kitchen, and protecting my new hob was a priority. This cover has been very effective at shielding the surface from scratches and spills, which are inevitable in a busy kitchen. It’s reassuring to know that I can place hot pans directly on the cover without damage. The cover also doubles as additional counter space when needed, which is a huge bonus in a smaller kitchen. It cleans up easily, making it a practical addition to my kitchen tools.
Makes a good counter cover for bread making
This cover is mad to be a cover for a hob. Ive used it for helping me to make bread.
Its a great size and fits nicely on my table. It helps me when Im trying to knead or shape bread an its very easy to clean, just wipe and its done.
Its heat resistant and so great for when I pop out my hot bread from the oven to cool.
4 stars from me. Makes making bread a whole lot easier to clean up.

Great for protecting my cooktop
We have a glass cooktop, which gets scratched so easily. It’s tough to keep things like pet hair from settling on it. This hob cover solves the problem. The material seems to grip the surface well and stays put, plus it’s thick enough to offer some protection. I was worried it might get messy during cooking, but it wipes clean effortlessly. Makes it much easier to keep the kitchen looking its best!
Extra counter space for small kitchens
Very pleased with this hob cover. Not having used one before, I’m very pleased with the extra space it gives us in our very small kitchen. When having this in place over the hob, it’s easy to put extra dishes or plates on the now usable counter space, and this has been a real godsend for that purpose.
It seems to work really well so far and is proving durable and also easy to clean, which is a real bonus. I was worried about it accidentally switching the stove on underneath because it’s a touchscreen-style hob, but we’ve had no issues with this whatsoever, which is a relief. It also remains in place without slipping, which is brilliant and another thing I was worried about.
I like the chocolate-style design, which goes with our nice neutral interior. It’s also quite versatile and feels in texture a little bit like a desk mat, so it could also be used on a dining table or for crafting projects quite easily, which it may well be used for in the future. Very pleased in general with this versatile cover.
Great Hob Cove
If you have and induction or ceramic hob this will be an absolute boon for you.
I have an induction hob and until getting one of these protectors was very concerned and very careful to make sure that I didn’t do anything that may cause scratches or damage. I know that the glass used on these things is very tough, but nevertheless I was really keen not to cause it to look anything other than brand new. With this cover that worry is significantly lessened. I make sure that whenever I am not using my hob, I put the cover down and it’s protected. The added bonus is that you immediately get back a really large amount of workspace you can use for chopping, slicing, preparing, etc.
This cover feels well made and is quite thick & robust. The design is quite attractive and makes me want to drink hot chocolate!

This kitchen hob cover has a very good size of 78×52 cm, and this design to protect your hob from any scratches and physical damage.
The cover features melting caramel/chocolate picture, which looks quite appealing in the kitchen.
The cover is made of natural rubber. Rubber has a very good shock absorbing qualities which make sure that your hub is protected from accidental drops. The cove may also withstand high temperatures up to 200C, making it also a great protection against thermal damages.
The cover is very easy to clean it can be done either using a damp cloth or you may simply put it into the dishwasher.

Heat resistant mat.
This hob cover can essentially protect anything which you’d want to protect from scratches or heat marks, like a marble countertop or a glass dining table for example.
Of course the electric hub is one of those surfaces which can be scratched or cracked if a little care is not taken.
It is off a good size and being made of rubber means it is also shock observant and offers a good grip on a multitude of surfaces.
It is heat resistant so it is even useful for when serving hot dishes as the pot can land straight on this mat and food can easily be served while hot.
It cleans easily with water and a little bit of washing up liquid and instructions say it is also dishwasher safe but haven’t actually tested it this way yet.
The print is of good quality but not as high definition as shown in the listing, nonetheless vibrant.
This mat is very versatile, increases the usable space of the countertop by covering the cooking hub and can be used to protect other surfaces too.
Large, sturdy and flexible
I ordered this hob cover having sadly broken 2 glass hobs previously by accidentally dropping items onto them. When it arrived it immediately felt like a thick, sturdy product. The cover is easily big enough to cover most hobs, and more than large enough for our standard sized hob. It is cushioned enough to protect the hob from most accidental impacts, so I’m hopeful it will stop our current hob from getting damaged.
Although it’s heat resistant up to 400f/204c it’s not recommended that you place it on a hob while it’s turned on, which might be an issue if there’s a chance your hob may get accidentally turned on.
Overall I do think it’s a very nice item, and it’s going to be very useful in protecting the hob, so I’m happy to recommend it.
Hob Cove
I love this hob cover and it’s really good! It protects my cooktop well from scratches and spills. Plus, it’s heat resistant up to 400F so I can place hot dishes on it. Cleaning is easy as well
Useful to extend working surface area
This is basically a heat resistant mat with a nice pattern on one side. It claims to be heat resistant up to 200C or 400F – which should mean that you can take hot stuff out of the oven and put it directly on the mat, obviously so long as the oven is below 200C !
We haven’t put that claim to the test as yet – though taking hot and heavy oven dishes out of the oven and not risking scratching the glass top of our hob is really the whole point of this mat, so I’ll update this review if it doesn’t deliver.
My main concern with the mat is the likelihood of people putting the mat down to cover a hob that’s not been allowed to cool adequately – something the manufacturer specifically warns not to do. It’s unfortunately exactly the sort of dumb thing teenagers tend to do!
That said that’s more of a practical daily use kind of question mark, rather than anything the manufacturer can change. Honestly I can see it getting more use for quick ironing jobs where you can’t be bothered to get the ironing board out.
Heat Resistant Hob Cover, Chocolate Swirl, 78 x 62 cms
This hob cover is nicely finished, with a chocolate swirl image on the top and a black non-slip finish on the bottom. The cover arrived folded in its box, however it easily lay flat on the table when unfolded. For storage, it rolls up and the roll kept tight by using the supplied silicone slap wrist band.
The rubber material is quite thick and is impressively heat resistant to 200degC. You can place hot pots and pans on the cover without damaging the cover (but do not put on top of a hot hob). Plus it is easy to wipe clean after use.
This large cover lies comfortably on our induction hob and kitchen table, so we can use these surfaces for food preparation without worrying about scratching them.
I really like this high quality cover and its versatility in the kitchen. The premium price is justified by the excellent protection it provides for the hob.

I already had a KitchenRaku hob cover, the one with the colourful fruits and vegetables. It was cheerful and did the job, but it didn’t quite match my kitchen dcor. That’s why I decided to try their Induction Hob Cover with a modern design.
This new cover is a perfect fit! It looks much cleaner and complements my kitchen style better, proving that practicality can go hand-in-hand with aesthetics.

Nice enough. But at the current price, not a real necessity!
Unlike (some) other reviewers, I don’t simply copy & paste information from the advert. (I’m sure you really don’t need (or want) to read all the description yet again!) I want to try and give you my own personal views of it (good or bad) so you can decide for yourself whether to buy the item or not. (The fact that I’ve received this product free of charge through Amazon Vine has no influence at all. I always “tell it as it is!”)
This cover is bigger than I was expecting (see my photo, which includes my reading glasses for comparison). It feels very well made and is heavier than it looks too. It actually feels to me exactly like a large computer mouse mat, only a larger version!
I think this cover can be used in more situations than just acting as a protective cover for an electric hob/cooker. It will be ideal to place on top of an easily burnt/marked table when you want to layout hot foodstuffs at a party. This cover will easily protect the table from burns etc. It is also anti-slip, so your food trays won’t be going anywhere when placed on it too. If it gets dirty, you can simply throw it in the dishwasher to clean it. Just the job!
Now, at the current price of 36.99p (with free delivery) I believe this product, (as nice as it is), is a luxury and not a necessity, therefore I don’t believe it’s actually very good value for the money. Personally, I believe a fair price to pay for this type of item would be around 12 to 15. However, in saying that, I can still recommend this cover, if you’re happy to pay that price for it, as it does exactly what the advert states it’s for, and can be a very handy thing to have around anyway (especially when hot food trays are being served out).
