Secure adjustable tablet holder for cars
This Lamicall Car Headrest Tablet Mount requires minimal assembly as it comes in two parts: the adjustable bit which attaches to the back of the car headrest and the clamp that holds the tablet in place, with padded grips. Both bits are fully adjustable. Once mounted in place, the tablet can be rotated both horizontally and vertically and also both the arm and clamp can be locked into position. The tablet mount is made from lightweight aluminium and doesn’t vibrate or move about when the car is in motion. Once the mount is attached to the back of the seat, the adjustable arm can be extended towards the middle of the car, so back seat passengers get an equal view.

    Road trip essential for families.
Road trips with my kids used to be a battle against boredom. This mount has been a lifesaver! It’s sturdy enough to hold their tablet even on bumpy roads, and the adjustable arm means everyone gets a good view. The installation was a breeze, too — no tools required.

An Absolute MUST for Long Journeys!
This was exactly what I was after for long car journeys where my daughters wanted to watch something on the tablet but one would often fall asleep, ultimately dropping the tablet leading to backseat turmoil for the other.

Once the mount was attached to the headrest it was very secure. Fortunately, I had the perfect gap to fit this mount however if your normal driving position doesn’t have a 5-6cm gap between the chair and headrest for this to grip onto then it’s going to be no use unless you have it positioned behind the front passenger. I don’t think many would want to drive uncomfortably for the sake of accommodating the tablet (then again if it keeps a fussy toddler settled then its possibly worth it!)

My only minor complaint is that my Otterbox Defender case on my Galaxy Tab S9 FE is right on the cusp of being too bulky for this. I’d imagine most tablet cases would be compatible however but it is certainly something to keep in mind.

The mount can easily be moved and adjusted to pretty much any angle making it extremely easy to share the screen with a sibling in the other seat.

I did notice that there was a bit of screen wobble when driving but ultimately it wasn’t enough for either of my daughters to complain about.

Overall, happy to recommend this one with the caveat that it needs some space to fit.

Keeps the baby entertained in the ca
I have a baby who is nearly six months, so she tends to get cranky on longer car rides. This is great as I can attach it to the back headrests and it stays secure without wobbling around. It has saved my sanity on long car journeys!

    Perfect for backseat entertainme
This mount is a real lifesaver for long car rides with my kids. The adjustable arm and 360-degree rotation make it easy to find the perfect viewing angle for everyone in the backseat. The lock mechanism is a great addition, keeping the tablet securely in place even on bumpy roads.

This is a review of “Lamicall Car Headrest Tablet Mount [Upgraded Lock] – 2024 Stretchable Car Tablet Holder, 360 Rotating Backseat Mount for Kids, fit iPad Pro, Air, Mini, Samsung, Switch, Phone, 4.7-12.9″ Device – Black”

I’ve heard of Lamicall but this is the first Lamicall product I have actually tried.

Quite impressive overall – sturdy build, holds my Huawei tablet securely in the back of my camper van. The extending arm feature is very handy. Lots of silicone padding on the ‘grippy’ bits to ensure that there is no damage caused to the tablet. Very easily fitted too.

    Recommended.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGood quality sturdy mou
I was previously using a tablet mount in my car which I got last year. It served its purpose, but the spring-loaded mechanism that secured it to the headrest wasn’t that strong and it often shook and vibrated when driving. Besides, while on long drives with the kids, it was a fight as to who would sit in the commanding seat. So when I came across this extendable arm mount, I knew this was the perfect solution.

With the arm being able to extend towards the middle, it’s a much better way for kids to watch streaming channels or play games when going on long drives and it’ll keep them preoccupied throughout the journey. The holder itself comes in 2 parts, the first part tightens to the headrest which can be adjusted to suit different widths and can be locked in place. The second is the clamp that holds the tablet, this clips onto the headrest grip and can be tightened into place. Once mounted, the tablet can be rotated both horizontally and vertically giving you plenty of flexibility.

It’s made from durable aluminium, it’s extremely solid, feels ridged and doesn’t vibrate and shake like the previous mount. All in all, I’m very happy with the product, and I’m glad I ordered it.

Great tablet mount for your iPad
We’ve recently succumbed to the fact that for longer journey’s the kids can in fact have some screen time on their devices. Just because we had to look out the window and play eye-spy for hours when we were younger, why can’t the kids have a more enjoyable journey (at least for part of it)?!?!
So…we got this head rest to hold the iPad’s
    It works well
It’s easy to fit and I would imagine it will be suitable for most headrest designs as long as you have a gap between the pillars.
Our daughters iPad has a rubber case which is quite large, unfortunately we need to take the iPad out of the case for it to fit, but that’s only a 30 second job to remove and install in the bracket
You can adjust the angle of the device to suit and it can be pulled forward / pushed back as needed to stop the screen being too close.

Secure and easy to use tablet mou
I’ve tried a fair few tablet holders for the car over the years, and I must confess, this one’s build quality is a cut above the rest. That safety lock really secures the tablet, so there’s no rattling or movement, even on the pothole-ridden roads near me. My kids have been happily streaming their shows for hours on road trips now. If you’re looking to make long journeys with the little ones more peaceful, this tablet mount is a no-brainer.

    Stable headrest mou
This car tablet mount works really well! The safety lock adds extra stability, so I don’t have to worry about my iPad shaking or falling, even on bumpy roads. The telescopic arm and rotating ball joint make it easy to find the perfect viewing angle. It’s also compatible with a wide range of devices. The only downside is that it won’t work on all types of headrests as my other car it’s not compatible.

    Another solid product from Lamicall
Now having used a few Lamicall products, I can definitely vouch for quality. This is no different. The quality of the product is second to none. It is well crafted and is very sturdy. I have another branded one in my car and this is definitely superior to it. It is easy to install in the car between the two prongs of the headrest. It can easily hold a phone or tablet. The arm extends a good amount and folds in nicely too. The clamp has a nice soft grip to ensure your device is securely held but also does not get damaged. Really well made and I would highly recommend this item.

    Nice solid, quality mou
This feels a very sturdy unit straight out of the box.

The arm which goes between the headrest is metal, and the extending arm is plastic, and the joints all move very smoothly, though they are quite stiff; I couldn’t see a young child moving them. It’s fitted in place in about two minutes flat though, and ready to use. It has a ball joint at the end with a spring-loaded tablet holder (hate to sound girly as I’m not particularly, but I cursed it, as I broke a nail when it sprung closed with a vengeance as I pulled the tablet free!).

The long extension bar is very useful pull the tablet closer if someone’s actually using the touchscreen, though at full reach it does wobble a lot. The more folded it is, the less of a problem this is. I wouldn’t say it’s a fault with this particular holder though, it’s just the nature of the beast; uneven roads+car suspension=cabin vibration. Can’t be helped. But the ability that this tablet holder has to position the tablet in the middle between the seats is great, as it cuts down on a lot of arguments.

An easy way to stop the back-seat squabble about who gets to hold the tablet when they’re watching a program. Worth the money for that alone!

A brilliant design that works well.
iPad + child in the back of my car usually means a peaceful journey. Unless the iPad does something to offend her sensibilities, then the iPad is in danger of becoming a missile. Her iPad has a very soft case, not so much to keep the tablet safe, more to minimise the damage to the back of my head. My skull welcomes the arrival of this Lamicall Mount.

I’ve seen the straps that can be used to affix a tablet to the back of a car seat, but this is the first extendable type I’ve seen. I love it-and more importantly the user, my great granddaughter also loves it. There is one unforeseen bonus for me. GGD doesn’t like to have her iPad charging whilst she’s using it. Now it’s in a fixed position it’s no longer an issue, she accepts that it’s part and parcel of the new arrangement. Gone are the journeys where I have one hand on the steering wheel and the other groping behind be for the charging cable.

This is a snip at 24.99. It is well made and well thought out.

GGD + iPad + Lamicall mount = peace and tranquillity in the car’s back seat-and fewer injuries in the fro

    High quality tablet mou
The big surprise with this tablet mount is that the main body on the unit is made from metal. Very sturdy and once it is attached to the headrest it is solid as a rock. The arm that can be extended out is also solid. It’s made from plastic, but you can tell by touching it that it is made to support a tablet and not bend or buckle under the weight. I really liked that the upper and lower surfaces of the arm piece had a layer of high-density foam. This I assume is to keep it stable and locked into the main body. The joints in the extended arm are quite stiff and once extend out it stays in place. A ball mount is used to attach the bracket that the tablet mounts onto and it has two extended spring-loaded arms with foam padding on the retaining pegs. In terms of design, it is very minimalistic and with the headrest lowered it looks as though its build into the seat in front. Overall, this is a very good headrest mount, and I would easily recommend it.

Accommodates everything from a smart phone to a decent sized tablet.
I fitted the Lamicall Car Tablet/Phone Mount to the back of the passenger seat in my car today, and I must say, I’m thoroughly impressed. The safety lock and silicone pads ensure that my daughter’s tablet stays securely in place, and is rock steady, even on bumpy roads (and there are plenty of them around where I live) so there’s much less worrying about it slipping off and breaking.

Telescopic Arm: The 38cm dual-axis telescopic arm is brilliant too. It allows my daughter to adjust the distance easily, whether she’s watching a movie or playing games, it’s perfect for keeping her entertained during long drives.
It is very easy to Install too, and there are no tools required, I had it set up in less than a minute. The adjustable design fits various headrest sizes, and the installation process is so simple, I think a mechanically minded, toddler could probably fit it. lol
    Very impressed, happy to recommend.

    Nice design and solid workmanship
This car tablet holder is very well made and locks a tablet or smartphone in place without giving me the feeling that it will either slip or fall out of the holder. The arms are made from metal and the design allows the holder to either be used by a single user where the tablet will hang behind one front seat or it can be used by more than one person where a second arm swings a full 180 so that a tablet will securely hang between the 2 front seats allowing all the passengers on the back seat a good viewing angle. The clamp holding the tablet is made from high grade plastic. It feels solid and can be adjusted up and down and left to right to give the best viewing angle. The brackets on each side of the holding clamp are padded with rubber and will grab the tablet or phone securely without any risk of scratching your gadget. This really is a solid and well designed tablet holder for the car. If your looking for something to hold your gadget for kids in the back or back seat passengers in general I can strongly recommend this kit.

    Replacement bracket for an ipad
I got this to replace a DVD mount that we have had since my daughter was a toddler for entertainment on long journeys. Fits on the headrest and allows a safe secure mount for a tablet so rear passengers can revise or learn whilst travelling in the car. Easy to fit and fairly stable on normal roads with a moveable platform that can be swivelled to an extent to get the best viewing angle. If you have kids (of any age) this is a must for safe tablet use int he back of your car.

    Secure and Versatile
Unlike my previous cheap one, this one is made from durable materials, it feels solid and reliable, the upgraded lock ensures a tight grip on your tablet, preventing any wobbling or slippage, even on bumpy roads. With its stretchable design and adjustable clamp, it can accommodate devices of difference size, I can use it for my iPads, Nintendo Switch, and Xiaomi smartphones.

But there is one minor drawback worth mentioning. The stretchable design, while convenient for accommodating various devices, can feel slightly less stable compared to fixed mounts.
