Good value for money
I used this on large three-seater leather sofa that gets quite a bit of use.
The brush provided has an attractive “old world” look and feel to it. It also turned out to be an efficient applicator which helped me get the waxy substance into all the nooks and crannies.
The product has brought up a nice shine on the leather and I believe it will feed and protect it. However, I wouldn’t really call it a cleaner and I would recommend that you do any cleaning he needed first and just use this stuff to finish off.
I was certainly impressed with it at the price, as it is substantially less than I’ve paid for a similar product in the past.
Very good leather conditioner.
I love the branding of the Cozy Currant leather salve. It’s a plain silver tin with a picture of a dog in front of a roaring wood fireplace on the lid. Very homely. Also included is an old-fashioned style shaving brush to apply the salve.
There are no instructions included, but it’s pretty obvious that all one needs to do is get some of the salve on to the brush and then paint it on to the leather surfaces. Very simple and easy to use. According to the product description, the salve contains beeswax, shea butter, and enriching oils, and is also pet friendly.
I’ve quite a lot of leather in my house, two sofas, shoes, bags, document folders and the car seats. I’ve therefore been busy salving all my leather.
As a leather conditioner, it’s absolutely brilliant. It leaves the leather really soft and supple and puts a nice sheen on it. I can’t say that it reduced the appearance of scratches or defects, the scratches/defects are still very visible, however the conditioning properties of the salve improves the overall appearance if that makes sense.
In summary, a brilliant leather conditioner, but it won’t work miracles, as in it won’t make a lot of difference to the appearance of scratches. However, if one simply wants to condition their leather pieces, this salve would be a great choice.

Worked well on scuffed leather sofa
So this comes in a 4oz metal tin. You get what looks like an old style shaving brush – I used this to work into the scuffed edges of my leather sofa. It instantly had the effect of reducing the prominence of the scuff marks. It may need another application to improve the repair a bit more.
The tin does not include any information on what is inside or how best to apply. I guess it is all fairly obvious but it would be good to know. There is some info on the product description but it should also be on the tin.
Reasonable value at just under 10 for the set.
