    Perfec
I needed to replace an old xlr mic on a budget and for 52 for a mini yeti the sound quality is amazing, the app itself for Logitech devices with the built in voice changer or vocal modes is perfect also for those who sing and need something on a budge

Great for a novice like me
No set up needed, just plugged it into my pc and by the time I got my recording software open it was ready to go. I was amazed how smooth the raw audio sounded, with only a little bit of background noise despite the state of the room I tested it in. As a novice, I was happy with the sound quality and it’s more than suitable for what I need it for (recording audio for training videos while working from home).

    A sound choice for gamers
Diving into the world of online communication, clarity is paramount. The device I’ve been using slots into my setup with no fuss, its straightforward USB connection a welcome relief. During intense gaming sessions, the clarity it affords is unmatched; my voice carries with a crispness that often lacks in other models. Its design, while robust, never overshadows its core function. A subtle presence that simply does its job, and does it well. The additional features, though not its selling point, offer a nice touch without being overbearing. It’s a solid choice for anyone looking to elevate their audio game without unnecessary complications.

    Great!
This gaming microphone has taken my streaming to the next level. The condenser RGB design delivers crystal-clear audio, and the LIGHTSYNC feature adds a touch of visual flair. The cardioid pickup pattern ensures my voice is captured with precision, while the USB plug-and-play setup makes it a breeze to use. Very pleased with this upgrade.

Works for gaming but picks up keyboard noise
Fun looking microphone with a removeable stand (so you can also use a mic boom), has good sound in game, but the noise of the keyboard can be heard which is a shame, however being under 60 it is a good microphone that you are able to customise with the app.

    Logitech Gaming Microphone
    This Logitech Microphone is fantastic!

Great for both gaming and recording sound for videos, the sound is really clear with no distortions.

It plugs in and just works! A great option from a well known manufacturer.

    works superb for me
If you want clear sound, then definitely go for this microphone. The connection is super easy to set up, and once connected, it just stays connected. It is easy to use too. Once you start using this, it will make you realize how different the microphone is from the laptop’s. I can’t use anything else now, and it has really helped with my office calls.

Great looking mic that's very easy to use
I have been wanting to get a mic for a while, but have always been put off by past experiences of difficulty getting them to work. There was no need to worry with this mic as I simply plugged in the usb lead and windows immediately detected the mic and gave a reassuring “your device is ready to use” message. I installed the G HUB software from their site which updated the mic and it was ready to go. There are also some settings and effects in the software that you can play around with, as well as being able to change the colour of the RBG LED logo.

I think the mic looks fantastic and will fit in with most modern gaming or work setups. My only gripe is that the LED logo is situated on the back of the mic, so you dont really get to see it. The stand is quite basic and has no form of vibration dampening, so does tend to pick up the sound of my mechanical keyboard. I solved this quite easily by placing the mic on a soft rubber mat, although I’ll probably buy a better stand at some point.

Overall I am very happy with this mic and it’s perfect for my basic needs. Sounds good, it’s easy to setup and looks very sleek and stylish.

Good quality RGB mic, with lightweight stand, and voice effects through software
As a gamer, and streamer, I am always looking for ways to improve the experience so moving away from a headset mic to a boom/desktop mic seemed like the way forward. This Yeti Orb mic from Logitech is a funky looking offering from an established brand in the gaming scene, in a round shape (hence the Orb name) with a small tripod that can be removed if needs be.
Inside the box you also get a USB C cable and an instruction book. Set up is easy, simple plug and play on a windows Laptop, no drivers needed and works out the box.
The G-Hub software needs downloading and installing from the Logitech website, and its here where you tweak the settings of the Microphone. There are a set of pre-installed audio settings, and voice change options, but you can create your own setups relatively easy, or adjust one of the pre-installed ones.
You can also search and select other offerings using the browse function, however I found that some of these did not work on the Yeti Orb, so I assume they were for a different Mic from Logitech.

The G Hub also controls the RGB lighting on the Yeti Orb, however to say it has RGB lighting is a bit of a laugh as its simply 1 light on the top of the device. The G Hub software to control the RGB lighting using lightsync that mirrors the colours based on what’s on the screen, or specific games (although I have not tried the game integration so far.

In use, the sound is good quality, although depending where you have the mic situated you may have to adjust the input gains, so you can be heard. Some of the sound effects, whilst great, render your voice difficult to understand, so that’s more a gimmick than an actual bonus. I tried it as a channel redeem with a mask I was wearing and nobody could hear or understand me, but that may have been solved with higher input gains.

The tripod is easy to remove so you can use a standard clamp to clamp it onto a desk etc, depending on your preference and there are 2 screw thread positions available, on the bottom and on the back.
My only issue with this Mic, and one that is small, but annoying is that there is no hardware mute button on the device. You have to do that through the software you are using, so if you are streaming, and want no speech, you have to switch over to your streaming software to mute the mic. A little annoying at times.

I did find myself stooping over when talking into it which is more my issue than the microphones, but I kept doing that as I was convinced nobody could hear me. Saying that, listening back to my stream showed how clear the voice came through.

Overall, a good quality, clear microphone with a variety of sounds and effects in the G-hub software, great for streaming.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersMic is fine for the price, stand not so good
This plays nicely with the other logitech kit and can be managed centrally from the logitech suite. The mic is fine and works well. It’s obviously not a pro mic and I’m not going to be using to record vocals.

It’s got a light on it so obviously it’s designed for gamers!!

What I found a bit annoying was the stand, it is too lightweight and I found it being knock and moved about to easily when enthusiastically playing a game or even knocking it over just moving my keyboard away from me. The stand should be much more weighty or designed with a flat bottom with rubber or similar to provide some adhesion and grip to the surface.

It’s better on a boom that I have for my daughter for her semi pro mic but I don’t really want to be using that all the time as it’s a bit invasive. To give it some credit the mic has two thread positions for mic arms so is quite versatile.

So in summary, perfectly good everyday mic and looks the part but the stand could be better.

    Good quality microphone
This is a really good quality mic, with very easy set up. It provides top quality sound and would be best used with a higher stand, as it does pick up your keyboard sounds if kept on your desk. I would also recommend to install the Logitech G Hub software from the Logitech website for the presets.
I really liked it’s stylish design and quality and for the price, it is good value.

Plug and play, RGB, good quality, securely packaged
The microphone came securely packaged. Since it comes with a simple plug-and-play system, setting it up was fairly straightforward. The sound quality is great plus the build is brilliant. Moreover, the RGB light is a cool addition. Comes with a removable base stand as well. Works as advertised. I’m satisfied

Excellent quality and clarity of sound. For me this is a world away from most of the mics I have used before and it is the perfect microphone for gaming. Well made, sturdy and attractively designed – I am extremely impressed with this.

Excellent sounding audio crisp and clear with great customisatio
A simple and powerful condenser microphone, great for smooth communication whilst gaming and also is very powerful for other use cases such as recording audio, and singing, it is easy to use and can run on almost anything. The microphone can have its lighting customized with lightsync for customized effects and colors. It works with the current logitech ecosystem to effectively bring a united look to your desk. I was able to use this in audio calls and even audacity to record some voice over. It is clear, crisp and has even tones. The easy setup of this condenser microphone makes it an excellent addition to almost any setup for different uses.

A great entry level gaming mic
A nice entry level, simple usb gaming desk mic with a fully featured software suite that you download from the logitech website (G HUB) with all the bells and whistles you would need to get a very good quality sound.

The mic does however have some obvious flaws due to its stand and lightweight construction and that is it picks up every tap of your keyboard, click of your mouse and background noise to a certain extent and really needs to be mounted on a boom arm to really get the best out of it which at least logitech has considered by including a standard 1/4 inch screw fitting, the list price (59-99) seems fine if you add the fully featured software suit you can download that has plenty of preset filters and a fun selection of voice change options as well as a compressor, gate, de-esser and much more ect, certainly worth considering as a purchase without splashing out stupid amounts on a “pro mic”

    Good Mic for the price
This mic feels nice and sounds good for the price.

The feet really pick up keyboard sounds and any other movement on the desk, so you really need to mount this on a mic stand, but if you put it on a surface away from your keyboard then its fine.

The Mic head is huge, but I’m not sure that’s needed. Its a shame the LED is so small, as it could have been a feature, maybe as a metronome, or just to count you in, but its just a tiny LED that serves no purpose.

The software is basic, but lets you play with your voice, so adds some fun.

Useful for podcasting but i think a headset mounted mic would be better for gaming, as you don’t really want to pick up room noise.

It feels nice and solid, and as its Logitech is should las

Gotta play with the EQ depending on where you like your mic
Straight out the box plugged into the left of my keyboard it picks up clarity of my voice, with no white noise or echo. I go into a bit of detail below, hope this helps you make a more informed purchase decision. It was hard to find unsponsored reviews at the time of this review.

Window open: It didn’t pick up much noise but when people were shouting and I was silent it picked up voices but barely able to detect words.

Hallway: Speaking from the hallway with door open it did pick up voice. However it was quieter but you could detect speech.

Sound dampener: I have model boards lined with cork and foam on top dampened sound, sounded great

Mic at arms length: at back of desk, significantly quieter but could still hear me clearly.

Pets: Didn’t detect purring, snorting or panting. A loud bark up close was picked up.

Retractable keyboard: When directly next to keyboard picked up keystrokes. With standard Logitech keyboard no keystrokes were audible

Mouth clicks and swallows: No weird mouth sounds were picked up. Staying hydrated or using a dry mouth preventive mint/mouthwash helps. Chewing crunchy food is picked up. Sips through straw not picked up until drink almost empty.

The above is without modifying eq settings. Once you play around with eq via system preferences or app you get better results. Advise keeping door and window closed.

Good entry level mic, I personally wouldn’t be mad if I’d purchased it outright. Wouldn’t spend more that 65 on it though.

    Logitech make great ki
My son is a total PC gamer and often records videos for a-n-other video service. He loves the mic and is super pleased with how clear it is compared to various others he has had in the past.

Logitech make great kit and their dip into the gaming arena is just as good as their office based peripherals

The mic is easy to set up, has the obligatory RGB lighting (very subtle though)

Looks great, sounds great, easy to set up and doesn’t take up much space, a bit jealous if I’m, honest 🙂

Would recommend and certainly beats his headset/cam mics

    I really like this item
I have been gaming for alot of years and I am wanting to try my hand at streaming. I didn’t want to spend a fortune on a microphone incase I didn’t like it. I know Logitech is a reliable well known brand so I thought I would give this ago. At the time of purchase this was 59.99 which I do not mind paying at all. What initially sold me was the way it looked. It doesn’t look like your average microphone I actually really liked the way it looks. It almost has the look of an alexa or google home which I like. Looks stylish, very good quality, the thick durable legs make it stand really sturdy. It also can connect to other Logitech items you may have. I haven’t used it in a stream yet but I am excited to. I have literally set it up it was so quick and easy just pretty much plug and play. I can’t wait to use it it will be so good. Really good quality for the price.

    Easy to use
My daughter likes online gaming and readily uses a standard headset which she moans hurts her head after a while so this is a great alternative. Doesn’t take up much room at all and isn’t too much of an eyesore, no complaints with sound quality either seems to be spot on so for the price it’s great, easy to set up and works pretty well.

It's good but improvements can be made
Firstly, this is a very very good microphone made by Logitech

The Yeti Orb, os a mix of win win and lose lose scenario but I’ll explain why later on in this review.

The packaging is superb and when you first set eyes on the box it screams out QUALITY, and inside the box doesn’t go amiss either.

The build quality of the Yeti Orb is again superb, with top quality materials used all the way, right down to the usb cable (usb type C to Usb type A)
And the material covering the microphone itself is premium (my cat will also think so as well before she decides to own it as her new scratching post !!), AND this Microphone can be used on a Boom stand

The styling of the Yeti Orb isn’t going to be everyone’s taste but it will work for a good 80% of us and our setups, as its not flash and its certainly not drabby looking so it sitting in between everything.

The RGB lights are very minimal and could have done with a little more bezza to it all if I’m honest but again Logitech has gone for that very popular middle market approach

Sound reproduction is great with very nice natural sounding reproduction that it produces on every recording, with the background noise being at the very minimal if not completely silent, that’ll focus purely on your voice alone.

Now back to the one major improvement that I hope that Logitech will do on the Yeti Orb 2 and that is to add a Volume microphone control from the main microphone itself alone with a headphone jack.

Now for the Win that Logitech has failed to mention in its Requirements… and that is, This Microphone CAN BE USED WITH A mobile phone and Action camera (with adapters usb type A female to usb type c male along with adapters such as the Gopro media mod and the Insta360 microphone adapter and dji microphone adapter) and I’ve also used this with successfully with my DSLR and Mirrorless camera with the correct cables in place, and the sound quality remains the same so if you use these for YT etc then this will work just great, but why Logitech has failed to mention these devices is beyond me and also lost them a customer.

At a price point of view this is marginally over priced and you do pay for the name and quality packaging but the real reason why ive only given it just 4 stars is because of the mixture of short falls, high price and odd styling …. other than that it’s close to be being perfect and it will get the job done professionally .

High quality microphone with very little background noise
This Yeti Orb microphone works straight out of the box. I comes attached to a mini tripod stand and is about the size of a cricket ball.

The logo lights up when you plug the USB in and changes colour when you are recording. I tested this microphone with Audacity and it produced a clear and background noise free voice recording. I host and record a radio show so this is the perfect mic for that or anyone wishing to make content with their PC or Mac computers. It connects to your PC via a USB-A connector, however you could easily convert that to USB-C. Perfect for vloggers and podcasts. A great mic at a reasonable price.

    Really Good Microphone
I ordered this product to use as a gaming microphone on my computer. Firstly set up was ridiculously easy, you just take it out the box and plug in the included USB and boom, you’re good to go. You can also download Logitechs G Hub to gain additional things such as voice effects which overlay the mic and will work in anything using the mic for input. You can also adjust the RGB lighting through G hub to off, fixed or have it cycle through the colours. The sound quality is also incredible and apparently i’ve never sounded clearer which is great.

You can remove the included stand if you wish to attach to a boom arm but I personally keep on the stand and it picks up my voice nice and clear from where it is.

Great Design Perfect for Gamers, Streamers and Video Editing
The Logitech YETI ORB is extremely sleek and lightweight microphone which comes screwed onto stand with rubber feet on the bottom which prevents it sliding around your desk. The microphone can be removed from the stand if required. It is very easy to install and doesn’t require too much effort setting it up. This microphone is perfect for streaming or video editing. Only down side to microphone is that it doesn’t have mute button or switch on it.

    Very good
    Excellent gamer mic.
My nephew is mad about his PC games and is always streaming his gaming online.
He is over the moon with the mic and says the clarity is amazing.
Very easy to set up and use and is a massive improvement on his old headset mic.
    Highly recommended.
