I have found this useful when I need to carry the Pocket 3 around in my pocket but still need a tripod and light set up quickly. It all folds down quickly to fit in my pocket. The bracket itself is light and fits the camera a little awkwardly around the lanyard but it's not annoying. The closing clasp seems mid quality but so far hasn't shown it is going to fail after many uses. The combo of the lighter material and mini tripod is perfect for intermittent filming in regular daily environments. I use a different bracket and more substantial tripod for in place filming and yet another setup for action filming. I'd say this is a good, compact, functional "city shooting" setup that allows ease of quick transitions between selfie and B roll shots.

A better version of the same mount I have seen several people selling.
I had previously reviewed a different version of this mount for the Osmo Pocket 3 and it was awful. The latch was impossible to use and taking it off and putting it back on was not happening without a tool. This version is much easier to use and the latching system actually works without having to use any tools.
I have a lot of GoPro accessories I have amassed over the years and having a way to use those with my Pocket 3 is a really nice bonus. I would hate to have buy a bunch of new accessories that still work fine just to use with this new camera.
Overall I am happy with this case / adapter and hope it holds up over time. If it does not, you know I will update my review ASAP!

Ich fang’ einfach mal von vorne an:
Positiv:
+ Material scheint gut und krftig zu sein
+ Verschluss schliet fest, htte ich jetzt keine Angst das der sich einfach mal so ffnet
+ Fr den Einsatz mittels Action-Cam-Adapter prima geeignet, verschiedene Mglichkeiten der Befestigung
Neutral:
o Ich finde das kleine Stativ etwas billig/wackelig/dnn. Fr den Tischeinsatz zu Hause aber O.K.
o Bild 2: die LED kann je nach Blickwinkel nicht gesehen werden; sie verschwindet hinter Kunststoff
o Bild 4: mit angebrachtem Rahmen kann die Osmo Pocket 3 nicht mehr in ihrem originalen Schutzgehuse transportiert werden (muss zwingend abgenommen werden bzw. es muss ein anderes her); kann ergo nicht “immer” am Gert verbleiben, sondern nur bei erforderlichem Einsatz wenn der Schutz wie das Original klein sein soll …
Negativ:
– Bild 3: an den Seiten fehlen die schtzenden Polsterungen, da liegt harter Kunststoff direkt im Kontakt mit der Osmo Pocket 3, das dann direkt fhrt zu
– Bild 5: es gibt “Abdrcke” an den Seiten der Osmo Pocket 3 wegen fehlendem Polstermaterial (nur an Vorder- und Rckseite angebracht; wenig)
Trotz der Minuspunkte vergebe ich 4 Sterne, da fr den Einsatz wie Vorgesehen der Adapterrahmen einen guten Eindruck macht und ich in diesem Sinne zufrieden bin mit dem, was der Rahmen leistet …
Work as describe I just wish it comes with manual because sometime when I order stuff and by the time it arrive, I forget what they are so it would be nice to just have a manual to correctly how to use them it took some finessing, but I got the parts to work. But the fun part is using it to film rollers or mounting it somewhere with multiple mounting points to get the perfect shot it is what you need. I have found many uses for it already. The fit on the camera and the ultra stable locking mechanism that holds the camera in insures that the camera is solidly mounted and secure. The performance speaks volumes when using it. I have tried all the mounts and have even added the extra battery mount and it is solid going down the road at 60 mph. For you all that love to get unique and creative shots this is a piece of kit you need in your gear bag. Easy installation and removal makes it a breeze to use. I highly recommend getting one of these kits you will not be disappointed.

Decent quality
Mini tripod is not nearly as nice in quality as the one that comes with the creator combo. Action adaptor seems like it’s good quality. The frame itself is well made and has a nice hinge and locking mechanism with some metal components in them. It was not designed around use of the wrist lanyard installed on the Pocket 3. You can make it fit but it’s pretty clear it’s designed to not have the lanyard present.
The cold shoe is decent and you can mount a light to it easily. The cold shoe is open ended though so you have to center your device and then torque it down. I’m sure this is so you can mount your light facing your subject or yourself but it’s worth noting this.
It is a bit fiddly to line up and get into the frame. Once put in there there is enough clearance to flip from landscape to vertical filming easily. The frame with the cold shoe was what attracted me to this product. Overall this part seems well designed and executed as long as you’re not using the wrist lanyard.

A great little expansion adapter that fits nicely and allows you to fit your OP3 to other action camera mounts. The set includes a mini tripod and an action camera fitting to 1/4 inch thread. Very useful set ideal for OP3 owners.
Does a good job of expanding your Pocket 3
This is a tough case to expand your Osmo Pocket 3 camera. It allows you to attach accessories such as microphones or lights to your set up easily and offer a bit more protection for your Pocket 3.
It comes in a basic packaging along with a few extra things thrown in such as a lightweight tripod, a GoPro mount and these are very welcome.
The adapter itself is made of tough plastic, and your Pocket 3 just sits into it easily and you still have access to all the usual controls on the camera that you need – it doesnt’ block anything which is perfect
Once on you can attach your accessories, or you have little gopro mounts on the back which means that you can lock your camera onto gopro compatible stands, or mounts so you could (for example) put your camera onto a bike using a GoPro clamp!
This opens up all kinds of new opportunties for your videos, whilst protecting your camera
A great little expansion bracket that will last a lifetime and give you new ideas on how to use your camera.

The one thing that i was definitely missing on my Osmo Pocket was a way to make it stand on a tripod and this thing does just that by letting me use some of my unused GoPro accessories with the Osmo Pocket. I like how it’s relatively slim and opens up the kind of attachments I can use when vlogging now.

Easy to use and I believe it to be very protective. I don't drop this camera anyway as it seems a bit fragile, but with this on it I feel it will hold up better. This is an easy investment to protect the Pocket 3.

I think the biggest thing that this brings to the table is a cold shoe to allow you to add a light
beyond that the mini stand is a nice bonus
I will fully admit that I use them holder with a different tripod or weighted base again to me the big plus here is being held pop the unit out for a quick handheld and the cold shoe

Sturdy but a little tigh
Overall this is a nice case. The go pro attachments work well and there are 2 which is a nice design touch for different mounting positions. The clasp feels sturdy.
The downside is that the front cage doesn’t quite clear the screen as you hinge it over so it rubs against the edge of it. Fortunately not the glass itself but the plastic around it. I haven’t noticed any scratching so far but I would be a little concerned about wear over time.
