Price us really cheap for set of 2. Also phone fits great. Still possible to use touchscreen. Was trying to test it in the bath. No complains case is really waterproof. So I am happy to have it for our upcoming holiday. It is great for going to the beach, because keep phone safe not only from water, but also from sand. Recommend it.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 phone and while I got my phone in, it was a bit of a squeeze and thus slower and harder work than the other larger pouch I tested. It allows you to operate the touch screen but swiping didn’t work for me. The important bit is it seemed easy to get it watertight and you can tell because it is also airtight when fastened up. I went kayaking with it and it was subject to multiple heavy drenchings but was bone dry inside. Effective for this use case, but be careful sizing wise.

I used this for my pool pictures on holiday and it kept my phone perfectly dry and the pictures still came out clear! The touch screen is a little bit hard to press but for a few moments in the water, it’s absolutely fine.

This is one of several similar or even identical products available on Amazon. I’ve reviewed another similar product and not found any notable difference.

    What I like:
    – Truly water-proof (tested submerged for several hours in stable conditions, but not at 30ft deep).
    – Easy to use: Simple double closure mechanism.
    – One-piece product: everything is “connected” and together (other than the lanyard). So, no risk to lose pieces.
    – Feels sturdy: Thick transparent plastic pouch; strong closures.
    – Fits our phones that are of different sizes (i-Phone, Samsung and LG).
    – Most modern mobile telephones use capacitive touch screens, and the plastic of this pouch is thin enough to use the touch screen.
    – Good and strong lanyard.
    – Caters for other items (passport, money, etc.) and uses (e.g. trekking, skiing, …).
    – With enough air in it, the pouch floats.

    What I don’t like:
    – Other identical products are cheaper, maybe owing to a discount campaign, but cheaper nonetheless.

    Thoughts:
    – The manufacturer states that this is a seamless construction. It’s erroneous because there are soldered seams at the bottom of the case. But, they are minimal and also help to protect the corners of the pouch from erosion.
    – I would not take this down to several meters deep because the pressure may push water into the pouch. – But, for protection at the beach, on a boat or when walking, it’s sufficient.

    Be aware:
    – If you are near sand or dust, ensure that it does not get in the seam, which could compromise the water-proofing capability of this product.
    – If you allow too much air in the pouch before locking it closed, it will be difficult to press on the screen of the phone.
    – Activating and using the screen is not as easy as without the pouch, particularly when your fingers or the environment is cold.
    – Not suitable for underwater photography, in my opinion. The quality of your pictures may not be as good as without the pouch or when using a waterproof photographic case. I’d worry about water pressure too.
    – Any moisture inside the case must be removed.
    – Risks of condensation inside the case are possible. I’ve put a bag of silica inside my cases to reduce that risk (I take it out after I’ve used the pouch and dry it with a hair-dryer before putting it back into the pouch — ensure beforehand that it’s not hot).

These waterproof phone pouches are handy to throw over your phone to take a walk on the beach and not get splashes or sand on your phone.
I don’t hold confidence on perhaps dropping my phone in the sea and my phone keeping dry. I feel water would find a way to seep in.

But defo a good way to keep items sand and splash free.

I think with regular use they might not last as the plastic pouch pockets are fused together and with regular wear and tear might come apart.

This 2 pack of waterproof phone pouches are a clever idea and great for the likes of Water Parks, Outdoors and Sports, Beaches and Pools. Last year my teenage son returned from a seaside trip with his friends, all doom and gloom because sand and water had entered his phone and rendered it useless. We since invested in these handy pouches to keep subsequent phones safe for all the family for when we venture on a day out, especially useful for water parks but theme parks aswell to free up your hands to enjoy the rides and no risk of your phone dropping or falling from a distance.
It is advised to test the pouches every time before using following the simple step by step instructions on the packaging but the pouches are clearly very well constructed to offer a safe, reliable and waterproof containment. The accompanying lanyards are also of strong quality and match in colour with the pouch.

I have a Samsung A21s, which has a 6.5″ screen, and – with a folder type case fitted – it JUST fits (and can be removed), as long as I have the front of the case folded to the back of the phone and the magnetic tab tucked between the case layers. With the case closed, the closure tab makes it very hard to remove the phone from the pouch and I’d be concerned about putting strain on the seam at the top of the pouch and reducing its watertightness. As it is, it is still quite hard to get the phone and case out of the pouch. If I had only a back cover for the phone, there would be plenty of room for it. Obviously, without a case, this would take a bigger phone (I’d say, uncased, up to a 7″ screen phone would fit – I don’t know if phones go above this, but if they do, I doubt they’d go in this pouch!).

To be honest, they don’t look like anything much. A lot of plastic (including the carabiner clip), but this does make some sense, given that it’s designed for immersion in water – including seawater, which would either rust a cheaper steel, or bump the price up if using a high grade steel that wouldn’t degrade with use. The lanyard is of good width and thickness.

Having successfully tested with water, which I felt only determined their water resistance in very shallow water, where there’s no pressure that might breach the seal, I did an airtight test as well, blowing them up slightly and applying some reasonable pressure to the pouch, to see if any air was expelled (which may have indicated that they could leak if taken into deeper water), but the seal worked fine.

The pack of 2 is pretty useful for couples, so there’s one each if you’re swimming together or want to leave your stuff at a sunbed and go for a walk, taking just your valuables. Personally, I prefer the aqua coloured one for being a little more visible (in case I parted company with it in the water), but I imagine my partner would always prefer the more “masculine” black one anyway.

Decently priced for 2 at 9.99, I can’t fault them for the cost and effectiveness.

Tried these pouches in the bath and they are very easy to use which I like.

I had full function of my phone when it was in the pouch and it worked really well but my Samsung was a bit of a squeeze to get in. It was a little bit easier witch the case removed but there still isn’t a lot of breathing room.
