With the long handle this makes this fly zapper much easier to use especially when the fly is on the ceiling or in an difficult position to catch. Would recommend.
Easy to use and I like how the zapper part can be moved around to get things on the roof. Kills any type of fly or insect. The fact that you can charge it is more convenient than having to get batteries all the time
Fine!
We always have one of these zapper bats for the summer as my wife runs her own celebration cake business and those pesky flies and wasps love the cake ingredients!
This is a particularly handy version as the head rotates and makes it so much easier to zap when the varmint is on a flat surface ..wall or especially windows and the telescopic reach helps tremendously too!
The swatter looks and feels very plasticy and low-quality unfortunately. Moving it about also feels a bit clumsy; it’s not overly heavy, it’s just not balanced well or something.
It is easy enough to charge, with USB-C port, and it lights to indicating charging. Whenever the electric zapper is on, there is also an indicator light. You can set it so the zapper is on when you hold down a button on the handle, or so it’s on continuously; it’s nice to have this choice. The continuous mode also puts on the UV light to attract flies, though it’s not very bright (I haven’t tested it).
The zapper definitely works, though it isn’t always going to get the bug the first time it hits it unfortunately. Maybe it’s just me, but the whole design is a bit worrisome—it seems like it would be easy to shock yourself or someone else when using it. I guess you just need to be careful.
It comes with various acccessories, which aren’t really needed; the extended handle thing seems like it would be difficult to use and could result in the swatter flying out of it.
Overall, it does work, and if this is what you want, you could give it a try. But it’s not a very elegant solution to say the least.
