Really impressed so fa
I’m an engineer and have multiple laptop bags for work, but they always end up too heavy after I chop and change what I carry in there. I have 2 of the Wenger wheeled case type bags but one is too small and the other is too big, making it very heavy when you have to climb stairs. I really wanted the Wenger Synergy 16″ Wheeled backpack but didn’t want to wait for a US import and I couldn’t find it elsewhere. I came across this bag during my search for one and am glad I did. The reviews were mostly positive so I decided to give it a try and after my first outing using mine I have to say I’m really impressed with it. Everything I was struggling to fit in my last bag fits in this one with space to spare and wheeling it along was wonderful instead of finishing the day with strap marks on my shoulders. It feels good quality and I’m sure it will last for years to come.
Multiple use and quality
I’m currently in pain with Stage 4 cancer and need a bag with change of clothes and a stoma kit plus my meds. This bag enables me to use it with the inbuilt wheels and extendable handle when weight is increased when I go shopping for example.
Bought as cabin luggage to take on holiday. As we will be walking through cities, I wanted a bag that I could wear on my back and also on my front for security purposes. When not using the straps it will be ideal to use the wheels, which appear quite sturdy. Although not used in anger yet, I have checked it thoroughly and it does seem well made. It has plenty of pockets, if you like that thing, personally I would rather have less pockets giving more room in the main compartment but that is my only gripe.
Just got back from two weeks in Australia and had this and a small backpack. Bag worked really well – good amount of pockets and sections. Very strong and able to squeeze a lot into it. The versatility of wheels and/or backpack is very handy if you need to get around a city. No clacking wheels if you are walking around a city.
The reviews were mixed, so I was a little worried with how this would fare. I used it for a week away and used as hand luggage rather than checking luggage in. I loved that I could use it as a rucksack or wheelie. Very versatile, a lot of space and pockets. Very neat and tidy. Defo recommend.
I’m a workshop facilitator and travel with my laptop and equipme
Love this bag. It carries my laptop and iPad safely in their own pockets. Has pockets for wires and connectors. Other pockets for personal bits, Water bottle & umbrella one side, coffee cup the other. If I’m away for work I can pack my overnight clothes internally and it works a dream. Good handles and wheels.
One of my best buys for work.
Bought this for a business trip and now am also using that for personal weekend. It’s just the right size to have enough clothes and your laptop is well protected. It’s pretty easy to turn it into a backpack as well. Recommend !
Excellent wheeled backpack, I purchased this for work, having to now travel with a heavy old 17″ laptop, I which I am not prepared to lug around on my back, due to shoulder problems.
This came out tops in my search on price, weight, size and positive feedback from other customers.
Having used it for a couple of weeks I am happy to say I’m very pleased with it, I don’t have much in it as it’s for work, it has proved to be sturdy and not have an unbalanced wobble despite being 2 thirds empty.
I have not found the laptop bangs against against the rear handle section, there again I’m not rocking the bag back and forth to make it do so! I’m sure if you found this a problem you could always purchase some foam and insert it in the pull up handle section as it is a zipped compartment.
The pulling handle is adjustable and strong along with the pick up handle.
Material quality is strong.
I will actually use this for personal holiday use if the occasion arises.
Very happy to recommend the backpack
Bought this bag and used it for a 3 week trip to Japan in addition to my usual Samsonite suitcase. I based myself in Tokyo but did several 3 to 4 days trip away including one 8 days trip with this bag as didn’t want to bring my large suitcase with me. Must say this bag was great, albeit a little too heavy for my liking when empty at 2kg. It would have been close to perfect if it can be made to be around 1kg. My only other criticism is the brand name of “LIGSAN” is sewn prominently on the front of the bag. I don’t like this name at all. So I got myself a cheap sticky round iron-on patch that says “Discover the World” that perfectly covered the LIGSAN name.
