Great buy
Bought this to take on holiday but have been able to use it at home. It’s easy to inflate and sturdy on the water. We are considering buying a 2nd as quality is good. Some reviews takk about issues with attaching fins. We had similar problem with one port, fin wouldn’t click into place, but we applied some heat from a hair dryer, to soften the mold and the fin popped straight in. Would definitely recommend. Good value for money and extra accessories were really useful
Great board, terrible pump.
The paddle board is generally well made. However the pump is very low quality with the toggle switch being broken on arrival. It does still function, but with difficulty.
Due to how Amazon operates I cannot get a replacement part without returning the whole paddle board as it was sold through a third party.
Meaning I have decided to keep the broken pump to avoid all the extra hassle of returning such a large item.
After buying a previous board from aquaplanet I decided I needed a larger board. This board is perfect , it’s easier to stand up for a novice , it’s easy to maneuver and can easily handle 2 people . The pump that comes with it is better than previous pumps and the bag provided is plenty big enough to carry everything in that you need . I bought this for my husband, he absolutely loves it. It is easy to blow up and deflate. It is sturdy and relatively easy to get started. Our son has also taken to it and loves it.
This was my first paddleboard purchase and it came at a good price. Slightly disappointed that the box came with an accessory missing. However, the manufacturer Funwater sorted that out very promptly after I notified them, and consequently left me with a very positive attitude towards their product. Only been out on it a couple of times so far and so unable to comment on its longevity, but speaking as a novice it has lived up to all the expectations I had of it before purchase.
I am an OAP and my local quack tells me that on average people who have good balance (eg can stand on one leg for a decent length of time) live longer. The board is proving great for improving my balance and I can vouch that during this improvement phase, falling into the water is a lot more fun than, say, falling off a bike on to asphalt. If I live longer I collect more pension so that will recoup the initial outlay for the board.
So impressed with Funwater’s attitude that I have now bought another, similar, Tuxedo Sailor paddleboard for my granddaughter.
Haven’t used the kayak seat yet but looking forward to trying that out.
