Good hair removal
My wife had some trepidation using this device as she thought it may be painful upon using it. She found it easy to use painless and got rid of hair without issue. It is a device for people with certain complexions and hair so bear this in mind. Overall I can recommend this if you were after something like it.

If there is one important point when choosing an Iepilator its accuracy. The Ulinke pulsed light epilator is probably the most accurate epilator I have used. the flash window is flush and is not surrounded by a ledge as is the case for almost all other devices of this type.

Quick to set up and easy to use. The higher mode was a bit of a shock; it was a little bit painful but not awful and it’s just a case of getting used to it. It’s hard to know where the start and end points are or if you’ve missed any areas but this would be the case for any IPL because you’re not actually taking any hair away at the time. In a way, it’s a good thing because it doesn’t leave any redness to show where you’ve already been but it does leave you guessing a bit. The cooling system is really good; I can imagine that IPLs that don’t have that are much more painful and probably not much different to epilating pain wise. It’s a bit early to see the results but I’m very impressed so far and I’d definitely recommend it.
Noticeable results and good quality device
I’ve used at home IPL laser hair removal devices before so I knew what to expect and didn’t understand the cause of the high pricetag. However, I was pleasantly surprised.
Results, the most important aspect – I did notice good results on my arms and legs (the areas which I used the device on) but definitely not like the picture attached to the listing. Do not expect miracles, but the hair growth has definitely slowed down and looks a lot sparser now after 4 weeks. Just not as noticeable as on the picture – I would expect results like the picture in another 4 weeks or so. With that being said, these are way better results than what I had with cheaper devices.
The device itself is easy to use and I do not feel any pain at all, just very slight burning in some areas where my hair might be a bit thicker? It’s not painful, just a weird sensation. Other than that, it’s painless and it’s quite cooling as well.
It’s comfortable to hold until you finish your treatment as it’s lightweight, it’s just gathering the energy to do a treatment that is difficult! But the good results are motivational.
Overall, there is a cause for the high price tag – it’s because it provides better and more noticeable results faster than other devices and it’s also of better quality. I think that this device is worth the price if you don’t want to spend a fortune on several in-salon lasering sessions, I highly recommend it.

I’ve been using this hair removal device for several weeks now, and I’m impressed with the results. The ice-cooling feature makes the process virtually painless, and I’ve noticed a significant reduction in hair growth. I have been using this every other day for around 3-4 weeks to try and prevent the hair growing below my beard on my neck and have been getting some brilliant results.
The device comes in an extremely premium storage box and includes power cable, mini razor, and protection sunglasses. The device itself is small & light and the shape makes it very comfortable to hold whilst in use. The controls are very straight forward, there is the main button in the center (which is placed near to where you finger naturally sits when holding the device) and there is a power button on the side which is used for turning the device on/off and cycling through the different power modes (of which there are 3). It is recommended that you start on the lowest setting to begin with and build up over time which is exactly what I’ve been doing.
I have personally found the device to be completely pain free and I believe this is down to the built-in sapphire ice cooling system. Every now and then you might catch a longer hair but even then you only feel a small tingle. For me this makes it much better than shaving as I used to hate getting little knicks that not only were unsightly but could also sting quite a bit!
I found that I started to see noticable difference after 3 weeks and it has now become part of my daily routine. Whilst this is quite a big purchase I know that in the long run it will save me a fortune on expensive razor blades and shaving creams. Both myself and my partner use this IPL device on various areas of our bodies and have found it to be very effective and completely pain free; we couldn’t be happier!

I’ve had the Ulike IPL Hair Removal Device for 3 weeks now.
The product is beautifully and very carefully packaged — each individual element is wrapped and both of the leads have a popper strap for neat and safe storage. The device is very simple to set up (plug the device into the power box, and plug the power box into your wall socket). It’s not very heavy. It doesn’t have any ergonomic shape to it, or grippers, but it’s easy enough to hold for long periods.
Having read the manual, I realised that it is unlikely the Ulike will work on my forearm hair. I was a bit disappointed by that because I’ve always had very hairy/fuzzy forearms. However, the hair on my arms is very light in colour and the manual advises me that with the colour of my skin, and the very blond hair, there is probably not sufficient melanin in the follicles to target. Never mind, I have plenty of thicker and darker hairs on my legs to tackle.
The Ulkie box comes equipped with a 5-blade razor for skin preparation, which is a nice touch — although you may prefer to use your own razor or cream. And this is all the prep you need to do — remove all visible hair to get it out of the way for the Ulike to reach the hair follicles. Importantly, you should not moisturise before using the device. Just clean, dry skin.
So I was a bit nervous using it for the first time, but there was no need. I started on the medium power mode, because the hairs on my shins and calves are thicker and quite dark. Using the machine was so simple. The goggles (do use them, the flashes are bright) thankfully fit over my glasses as I am a permanent glasses wearer. So I popped those on, and you simply hold the device upright so it in contact with your skin, and glide it very slowly along the skin, as the machine flashes.
On my legs I experienced zero pain. Initially, you can feel the cool blast of air, but as the machine warms up, you really just feel the sensation of the plastic touching your skin. It took probably a little over 10 minutes for me to do both my lower legs all the way round. On the first go, I then decided to try my armpits. By this point, the machine had warmed up at the end, and a couple of times on the flash I felt the tiniest sting, but nothing to write home about. Since then, I have been doing my armpits first and legs second, as I think the pits are a bit more sensitive!
So, 3 weeks in, and with dedicated use, I can say this is working! More so on my legs so far, but the regrowth is definitely thinner and fewer/father between. And it is SO easy to use. I mean, it takes a bit of time, so perhaps best at the weekend or after an evening shower, but I’m now sure that dedication will eventually result in me being much less hairy overall.
299 is obviously a big outlay, but anyone considering laser hair removal at a salon should definitely consider this to use at home instead. In addition, I’m in a household where myself as well as my two late teen girls will benefit from this machine, so the cost is certainly mitigated if you have multiple users. I’m very impressed with this — 4.5 stars because I’m a bit sad about my arms.

I”ve wanted to try one of these at-home laser hair removal devices for ages, as I’ve heard really good things about them. So, I was thrilled to finally get my hands on this one. I use the Auto glide setting on my arms and legs and feel literally nothing uncomfortable at all.
I like to review items like this after about three weeks to get a good idea of how it’s working, and I can safely say that after 3 weeks, I have far less hair growth than before.
My arms in particular are almost hair free, and soon will be at this rate.
It is almost relaxing to remove hair in this way and beats waxing and shaving any day!

Impressive device
The laser hair removal device arrived in a smart, attractive, good quality cardboard box. I was suprised by how heavy the box was. It looks impressive and would be ideal for a gift.
Inside the box, as well as the device there are protective glasses, instructions manuals and power plug.
I have been considering using a laser hair removal device for some time but have felt unsure if the cost would be worthwhile and worried that it would be difficult to use at home.
However, the guide is clear to follow and it is fairly straightforward to use. The area needs to be shaved first then the device can be used starting on the lowest intensity and working up if needed. The ice cooling is unique and does help this to be almost painless.
A few uses may be needed but with some patience it is highly effective. For such a good quality laser hair removal device I think the price is reasonable, especially considering the money saved over time with not needing wax strips / razors etc.

This arrived well presented in its own branded stylish box and in shrink wrap. The overall presentation is excellent and it would make a great gift idea for someone special.
The unit comes with its own power adaptor and plug along with a pair of protective dark glasses for the light emissions whilst in use and a manual razor. It also has a Quick Start Guide and full User Manual.
If using an IPL for the first time, it can be a bit unnerving but they really are straightforward to use. There is a skin colour/hair colour chart and I would advise to check first as your skin/hair type may not be compatible.
Lots of patience is required with these as results are not always evident straight away. To get success it is recommended to follow the hair removal treatment schedule. Ulike claim that up 90% hair removal can be achieved in a month.
It is really comfortable to hold for long periods. However, with this you have the auto glide fast flash mode (one of 2 modes/3 intensity levels) that makes it much quicker than normal devices. The ice cooling touch is unique to Ulike and keeps everything cool (67F/20C) and virtually painless. There is no indication of number of flashes but these are unlimited according to Ulike. Even with limited flashes, there are usually so many on these devices that they would probably get replaced long before running out if used properly.
At 219 after applying the 80 off voucher at the time of writing this review, I think it is a really good price for a quality device – and from a good company that is specialised in IPL devices.

Probably the best machine we have ever had for kegs and body. It is entirely painless, easy to use and very effective. The secret lies in repeated use over a few weeks, so I would really recommend for special occasions and holidays. It’s not cheap, but compared to creams it offers great VFM. IPL machines can make life so much easier. If you’re one of those people that pays some else a load of moth every few weeks to get this done in a clinic then this IPL device may save you money in the long run.
Shaving without IPL tends to cause a lot of skin sensitivity as well as rashes and redness. The way to try avoid that is to look at this IPL device.
When using this device, you need to stick with it for the first few weeks initially. To get the full effect of the IPL device you have to use it more frequently initially and then over time you can start to drop this down to what suits your own body.
You don’t get instant results. You first have to shave using a razor. The included razor is fine but you may prefer to use something that is better suited to your skin. Once that’s done then use the IPL to effectively die back the hair regrowth.
You’ll find it start taking effect over the coming weeks and you’ll see that hair isn’t growing back as quick or as thick.
Lighter hair tends to fair better than darker, but regardless it remains effective on both.
Using the device is simple, with several settings somnthe device itself which you can alternate between depending on what you’re using it on.
The surface area of the device is also quite small so you need to allow a good amount of time to go it. I’d say approximately 30 to 45 mins for both legs for example. Patience is key when using this.
Within the box you get everything you need, included protective glasses, razor, charging port and cables as well as the IPL device itself.
It is quite expensive, but definitely worth it in the long term in comparison to what you can pay for a clinic to do it for you.
