Universal 65W Laptop Charger for ASUS,Power Aadapter with 5 Tips for ASUS VivoBook S13/S14/S15/S17,ZenBook,Lenovo IdeaPad,Lenovo Chromebook and Includ Computer Laptop Power Supply Cord

Nice
Affordable and far more convenient than the unwieldy charging cable provided with the laptop. The plastic feels incredibly cheap, so we’ll see how long it lasts, but the swappable connectors are very convenient.
It’s quite small compared to the original charger and works well
I have an old Asus laptop which I wanted to put back into use for my partners grandkids to play on. Unfortunately I’ve lost the power supply. This universal power supply has five different diameter tips one of which was a perfect fit.
It’s quite small compared to the original charger and works well resulting in happy grandkids and a bit of peace for the rest of us.

Well packaged – adapter heads come in a small bubble wrap pouch and they’re tricky to keep in one place
The power part of the charger is absurdly large
Fairly decent value
Universal 65W Laptop Charger for ASUS,Power Aadapter with 5 Tips for ASUS VivoBook
Good set of Universal 65W Laptop Charger for ASUS,Power Aadapter with 5 Tips for ASUS VivoBook S13/S14/S15/S17,ZenBook,Lenovo IdeaPad,Lenovo Chromebook and Includ Computer Laptop Power Supply Cord. Good value for money easy to use and fit as expected with high performance.
Smaller than many, cheaper too
This is happily charging an ASUS laptop whose original charger was left in a shop. (Ooops.) The variety of jack heads included means it will manage a huge number of ASUS laptops.
It’s smaller than most laptop chargers, although not having a mains lead reduces how far from a socket you can go. The current price of under 14 is cheaper than most too.
Excellent as fits my Ideapad and asus laptop!!
Glad i got chance to review this, I dont need it at the moment but it is always good to have a spare on hand, especially one that fits 2 items like my asus laptop and my ideapad.
It comes with 5 different port tips that attach to the main cable and provides 65w power!
It is a really good multi fitting charger that is a must for me to have as a spare.
The charger is very well made with good weight to it so fairly substantial.
Excellent price and i would recommend it!!
Wide compatibility.
The Universal 65W Laptop Charger for ASUS,Power Aadapter with 5 Tips comes in a sturdy cardbord box.
It is easy to use, with 5 different tips for a variety of devices.
I like the compact size of the unit and while plugged in, you only have to worry about the cable, as the power supply is linked to the plug.
I needed to fix a broken power supply unit for my sim racing wheel, this works great.
Nothing at all.
Good value for money, and very practical.
Great all round charge
This is an awesome replacement for my original Asus charger. It has the added benefit of being able to charge almost any laptop, just with a replacement tip, which is easily sourced. Love that it doesn’t have a power brick half way down the cable, which makes it much easier to transport in my rucksack. It’s built well and seems durable. It fits the laptop socket firmly without issue. It performs just as well as my original and is much smaller and much better value than an OEM replacement.
Lightweight and sturdy but not a 65w charge
This is a replacement for a replacement adapter for my Lenovo laptop. I somehow managed to snap the tip of the original one and replaced it with a generic one. But that one was too bulky. Then I came across this one- which looked identical to the original one.
It comes with several tips or pins, making it compatible with a wider range of laptops.
I left this plugged in overnight, and I couldn’t sense any overheating or any sound.
It does the job, it is lightweight and most importantly, the cables feel sturdy.
There are a few issues that I wasn’t impressed by though, First, it does not say 65w anywhere on the product and second, the design is somewhat deceiving. It looks like you can change the mains tip ( the one that plugs into the wall) to be interchangeable, but it is not. So you will have to take a travel adaptor if you are visiting a country with a different wall socket.
Overall, I like the item and would recommend it without hesitation, providing that you are okay with watts or the travelling compatibility.
Great for newer models
I got this for my old ASUS netbook but non of the fitting were the right size. My netbook is a day older than grass so can’t blame them for it not fitting. However the quality of the charger and fittings is excellent. I will have to splash out and buy a newer netbook.
Handy
I ordered this as a second charger for my laptop so I could have one downstairs and it’s super handy to have. It comes with five different sized adapters to suit a range of different devices. It charges fine but is a little slow compared with my other charger but that’s not an issue for me. It was really well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. Very pleased all round
A quality power supply
This power supply replaced my old one for my Asus laptop. It is solid and extremely high quality just like the original. The power cable that plugs into the laptop is a strong quality plug and is a good length. It powers the laptop well and highly recommended. It is also future proof because when I change my laptop to a different make, I can still probably use this power supply as it is supplied with different plugs for different makes of laptops. You can change the plug for the make of laptop you have. This is a great price for a power supply that can be interchanged to power other makes.
A good alternative
This universal charger came very handy, as the cable of my original Asus charger was starting to break. Thanks to the 5 different types of tips included, I was able to find one that fitted nicely. I don’t think that my Asus A556U was listed, but there was a good chance that this charger would be suitable, and I’m really happy to have found it.
It appears to work really well so far, and it’s more portable than my original one, so I’ll be glad to take it on holiday with me. The only thing that I miss is the length of the cable. This one feels a bit too short, and as my battery is on its last legs, the laptop needs to be plugged most of the time.
Still, this charger is a very good alternative for my Asus laptop, and I’d gladly recommend it.
Universal 19.5V power brick
This is an all-in one power brick, the mains plug is not removable to change to different countries. The cable from the power adapter is hard wired and terminates in a 3 pin plug in a triangle pin configuration which is then set in a polarised plastic connector to prevent it being inserted wrongly.
The output voltage is fixed at 19.5V at up to 3.42A, resulting in the 65W power rating of the unit.
There are 5 adapters provided with common laptop connectors, each having the mating 3 pin connector and they are very tight to install, requiring considerable force and wiggling to get in and out. Whilst this is not ideal during installation or when its time to change it, for the remaining 99% of the time, it becomes your best friend as they don’t fall out easily either.
There is one area of concern for me though and that is visible in the manual and product listing. The manual (which you only get once you’ve purchased the product) sets very short warranty periods, just 7 days for refund, replacement or repair, then 15 days of replacement and repair, followed by 12 months of repair only. This bring big questions about the build quality of the adapter if the manufacturer won’t stand by their product for a much longer period. Obviously buying from Amazon, you get the standard months return capability, which is twice what the manufacturer provides.
Assuming you find yourself in need of warranty, then who to claim it from? This is a fairly confusing as no information is provided in the manual, however, the power adapter is marked as being made by Dongguan Simer Electronic Co. Ltd in China, the product listing and box give a couple of names and companies, but none are in the UK and support is via a contact in Germany. The only other option is to return it to the manufacturer in China, but its unlikely anyone would bear the cost of sending a faulty adapter back around the world.
So, my main concern would be about product lifespan and the warranty. Is it able to be invoked when required ? – particularly since many will discard the box and therefore the warranty details will be lost once its opened and in use.
Conversely, this is priced at 16, so it is good value when you consider the wide range of laptops it can be connected to via the 5 adapters. Dongguan Simer Electronic does seem to be prolific at producing a variety of different power adapters, so you have to assume they know their stuff, however only time will tell if their reliability is good.
