Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGreat when it worked
I loved my walking pad while it worked for the first month or so. It really helps getting more steps in while working, and the noise level was great. Then it started making a new noise that we were unable to remedy.

Customer support is very responsive, which is great. I was provided with a replacement motor, though unfortunately that did not solve the issue.

Eventually I was provided with the option to get a replacement, or a refund. The Walkingpad was picked up very quickly, organised by the seller, and the money was back in my account 2 days later.

It got 5 stars while it worked, I really loved using it, and based on other reviews I seem to have been unlucky with mine. Deducting a star because the process of finding a fault when something is wrong is challenging. I’m glad I received my refund in the end.

OK I’m one of those people who hates exercise with a passion. I have had all sorts of gym equipment that has eventually been sold off due to gathering dust. This time, I thought, well weather is rubbish, so who knows, maybe this will be good.
A month later I’m using it every day. I got myself a tall tablet holding stand and now every evening after my son has gone off to bed, I jump on, put Netflix on and forget about the world. It’s been a very surprisingly efficient way to both exercise and unwind at the same time, even if you walk fairly slowly, you still manage to pack in a lot of steps. I was surprised to find the speed goes up to a fairly lively jog, although I didn’t bother trying that, I really don’t like jogging. I didn’t connect it to the app as I’ve got my smartwatch doing the steps count anyway. It does fold very nicely, although you do hear a crunch where it bends in, however it’s super sturdy. Impressive for a fairly small piece of equipment. It IS heavy though, so I wouldn’t lug it up the stairs but it’s absolutely manageable to be rolled about on its two little wheels. Oh and make sure you turn it off at the top before folding. I didn’t at first and it managed to start rolling the belt while it was folded, wasn’t a pretty sight! All in all it’s been great, and I am for the first time in my life happy I’ve spent money on exercise equipment! If you’re in doubt, I’d say go for it. The setup time is minimal, but you get a lot out of it.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThe perfect walking treadmill
The Walking Pad A1 Pro is an affordable but high quality treadmill for walking.

      Pros
      – The machine is well built feeling solid and sturdy considering the affordable price.
      – The speed of the machine is great allowing you to walk at a fast pace.
      – The machine is easy to use with the small remove to start and change speed, the display shows your time and distance making it easy to track progress.

      Cons
      – The machine is quite heavy so it is not that manoeuvrable. This is an issue with all walking treadmills though so not specific to just this machine.
      – The machine is foldable, this means that there is a small bump that you can feel underfoot as you walk in the centre of the treadmill.
      – The treadmill belt often needs to be realigned, this can be tricky to do and mine caught the edge causing it to fray.
      – The app is a little buggy and needs improving.

Very good but get the right shoes
This treadmill is well built and fit for purpose. One word of caution though. Unlike more traditional running treadmills, this one has absolutely no cushioning and the surface is very hard. I developed fasciitis for a short time after using this initially.

It is very important you get well cushioned shoes to protect your feet and knees from the impact.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersImpressive, cpmact but heavy!
More than I expected from a folding walking treadmill.
It’s not a light thing to move around, the cooling fan for the motor is noisy, more silicone lubricant required and the instructions leave a lot to the imagination!
      However!!
I’m very familiar with treadmills and how a good setup makes for a very good product.
Finding the right app to download was interesting but worthwhile. The app connects so easily and the control is effortless.
The auto function takes some time to get used to but very responsive and quick for the motor size.
I’ve walked 50 kilometres on mine and I’m very happy with it.
Definitely would not run on it, fast walking only!!
Good CLEAN ventilation is a must for this.
Make sure the walking space is not on carpet – the belt WILL pickup fluff!!
Make sure the area is level – this affects how the belt sits on the walking base!
Don’t apply the lubricant before you’ve warmed up the belt by walking on it for at least 10 minutes!
Make sure the tension in the belt doesn’t fray the edges of the belt or you’ll end up with a split/frayed belt.
When folded the belt does remember the fold for a while until it’s warmed up.

      Decent walking pad
I bought this for the ability to fold and slip under the bed.

As a walking pad it’s perfect, good workout and brisk walk on highest speed.

Note – The automatic mode will only work on hard floor.

      Amazing!!!
I love walking on this at my walking desk. It’s so futuristic compared to the old one which is fine years older. I just hope it lasts for as long or longer.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersExcellent treadmill but don’t use automatic mode
Im not going to go into a deeper review as everyone else because other reviewers have excellent points but I will add some extra careful consideration about this product. Overall it’s a great product and I think Kingsmith have done well. They just need to make some amendments. I am quite pleased with the Walking Pad WPA1F Pro that I was able to get at reduced price on Black Friday. I’ve just tested it now and it works. It’s heavy and was worried about the delivery guy being able to deliver it carefully. He did so awesome stuff from Amazon. A couple of things to note. When you plug it in for the first time the Quick Start Guide mentions that there are 2 ways of unlocking the full features which means lowering and increasing the speed: either walk 1 km (0.6 miles) or download the KS Fit app on App Store. Not a fan as I don’t want to connect to an app that looks dodgy – see the comments on App Store. This is a Chinese manufacturer. nothing wrong with that but I take my privacy seriously. So I walked 1 km to unlock it. It shouldn’t be like this and is a commercially unfair practice to force customers to their app platform which seems untrustworthy from the comments only to unlock what is an important feature of a treadmill. The Chinese manufacturer King Smith should not lock their customer in and should remove this requirement. Beware: Second make sure that you are on manual mode (M) and not automatic (A). It maybe available after walking the 1km. Not sure but do check. After walking 1 km the treadmill sped up from 3 km to 5.5 and above automatically which came as a shock as I wasn’t prepared and until I jumped off and switched it off using the remote. That’s pretty dangerous. And anyone older or elderly would’ve have fallen and hurt themselves. Otherwise I felt that when I was using the automatic mode it did slow down when I got lost balance while I was walking so I was confused why it sped up suddenly. I was holding on to a table while waking luckily. Third, I wouldn’t fold it and keep it unfolded as I might think that it would wear the walking belt going forward. If Kingsmith can improve and correct these errors and update the app with privacy features as per Apple’s policy I would feel much trustful.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI’m loving it!
I’m using it to try and stay fit whilst working. I’ve a small office but it folds up to store under my desk easily. The control panel is easy to use as is the remote. I would have given it 5 stars but it’s a little noisy (not very! I can still talk on the phone etc) and the app is frustrating. I use it in and off all day but the data is only given for each chunk of time so I have to go in separately to add up the steps. More annoying then anything. A little to the programming and it would be fine. I would recommend this produc

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersCustomer service is excella
I had reservations when buying this pad, but with the amount of time sitting at my desk working from home, thought it worth the risk. I’m lucky to have a sit, stand desk, therefore the walking pad was a good addition.
I walk at speed 4.0 to 4.5 and this is comfortable enough for me to read and type, any faster would prove awkward. The reason for the purchase was to ensure I move and possibly lose some weight, and both have been achieved.
The purpose of this review is to highlight the excellant customer service I have received. After about 2 weeks acyclical ticking noise started and no seeing anything obvious i contacted customer service. A very quick response was received and after a couple of emails I was offered to possible solutions, return the pad and receive a replacement or sorry the issue myself. I chose the latter option and was provided with a video, a video for servicing the product. I’m comfortable with working to that level and quickly sorted the issue, other people may not be. Any doubts that I had about buying this lovely piece of kit have now gone.
Using it is a doddle, and if I had to be critical about anything, it would be the app. It is responsive, but not all the time, and I think it could do with more work to make it more use friendly.
All in, an excellant piece of equipment that I fully recommend.

QR code didn’t work for fast set up so had to do it manually. Item is much heavier than it looks in the video the actors make it look lightweight to move around but it isn’t light it’s quite heavy for one small female to move. Apart from that I am looking forward to using it.

Fits nicely in my small office, noisier than I expected but that’s not an issue for me. We’ll see how it holds up over time but so far has been well worth the money.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersMuch better than I thought!
Before buying the WalkingPad, I used to eat and sit at my desk for hours – not digesting the food properly. I’d feel bloated most days. I’d even feel guilty for going out to walk, thinking I was wasting time when I could do more work!

I was a little sceptical at first, thinking whether I’d be able to type and walk simultaneously, but you get used to it very quickly. If I’m doing work that requires precision with the mouse then I sit back at my desk, but all other times I find myself walking now.

I can feel my health improving already. I don’t have the usual bloat that I used to get as I’m moving more. This is well worth the money!

      Only a little co
It’s not as silent as I expected and as advertised in the video. However, the App is GREAT, it’s really easy to move around and store, and after using it during 3 hours in a row I don’t feel any pain. Honestly, wouldn’t be able to find any other cons apart from the mentioned one.
